Went to Classic 5th floor on Friday at 8 pm. You may find this hard to believe but I met a girl. We did some stuff. I do not kiss and tell. Story over. The point is this. Prior two days the mamis on 3rd floor asked for money right then before the deed, but you can pay after just sign. Third day the 5th floor mami went straight to the signature. Much prefer this way. Here comes the problem. Never happened before. Had 30,000 change coming. They gave me the receipt and took forever before giving me the money. Testing me to see if I would forget about it. Then the two cashiers asked several times if they could keep the change. Sorry but their job is a joke and not worthy of a tip. Sit down and wait, it gets worse. Outside I hand the thing showing I paid to the girl before getting on the elevator. That witch looked at my hand and asked for the money. WTF! I hand her a piece of plastic which takes 5 seconds of her time and that is worthy of a tip? Neither of those have happened before. Maybe you guessed it, maybe you did not, so I will tell you I was not a happy camper.

Very odd to hear some not so good stuff coming from Classic such as condoms required, bad service, tip demands, pushy drink sluts. Why did someone that had been going there every day for about 7 weeks never have any problems, nearly all condomless action, and never mention the pay after option?

Warning: Classic has a DJ on December 30 on 3rd floor. I avoid because I do not want to support anything not related to why I am there. Otherwise they do that crap more and more. Please support mongering by not going that day. Thank you for your support!

This was on one of the side streets off of Mangga Besar. Two guys came walking by with the monkey on a little motorcycle and they were whisking it around with a rope while another guy was beating the drums making jungle music. Very impressive. They also had another act where the monkey was walking in stilts but I didn't get any pictures or video of that part.

But you know, a Starbucks coffee in Jakarta is not much cheaper than in the US. Last month I had posted about a girl I fucking inside Classic T2 who I had originally agreed to pull out but during the BBFS, I got her expressed permission to finish inside her and not pull out. Once I became of age and started traveling outside the US in the 2000's and 2010's I realized in other countries such as in Mexico and Colombia that tipping was not expected of me. Most locals do not leave tipd at cheap local restaurants and it's usually only other gringos / bules who leave tips.

I personally have noticed in my travels that tipping is not usually expected and locals don't usually leave tips either, not in Latin America or in Asia.

But if someone wants to leave a tip because he felt he got great service and wants to show his grsti8 by leaving a tip then it should be his right to do so. It's the same like the "your dick, your money" argument.

Yields that those with poverty mentalities will never understand.

Just one example: A restaurant in the building I live is the same as having a personal chef and a staff to serve me. When I make a new order the Chef will come to my table and go over all of the ingredient in the new dish (something very important for a person with food allergies) along with how the dish will be prepared. There is not a culture of tipping where I am. I am always pleasantly received and well remembered because of my pleasant personality (and my tips).

The amounts some consider to be a waste or that I throw around are insignificant to me. But 50 - 100 THB can buy a person two lunches here. Well, I personally dislike it. I think it's gone way too far, especially here in the States. It's way excessive now. And the fact that it's expected, regardless of the quality of the service is definitely not cool. As for tipping in Thailand, I did it all time time, and only when I thought the service was good.

So when the chick I fucked went above and beyond, or was just super nice, you better believe I tipped. Or if the Grab driver wasn't an asshole, yeah, depending on the change required I probably tipped. But in cafes and restaurants, I almost never did, because it actually seemed weird to do it. Like culturally, it was not expected at all. Since the actual service fee was already included.

There are no ATM fees in Jakarta, when using the correct ATM / Bank.

Similar to how in Colombia it used to be that you could use Davivienda, Caja Social, or BBVA without paying a fee, there are many banks in Jakarta you can use without paying a fee.

I never used this Niaga bank you mention, but many ATMs in Jakarta are fee free including BNI, BRI, the one inside the Alfamart across from Travel, both ATMs in the parking lot of Classic, even an ATM at Grand Indonesia Mall (the ones near to the escalator).

All those ATMs have zero fees.

Of course if you go around looking for an ATM with a fee, you will eventually find one but there are plenty of fee-free ATMs all around that it is easy enough to never pay a fee even on a 2 month long trip. Most have limits of 1200 k or 1250 k depending on whether it's a 50 k or 100 k machine but there are no limits to doing 2 or 3 withdrawals if you need more cash.

And I was trapped under a bridge, the zombies were everywhere and people were singing Karoke it was wild.

The street flooded with at least 2 feet of water, I couldn't get a grab to pick me up, I was stuck.
