I am not sure if the is is the best thread for this post, but here goes.
There have been a few articles this week about India and China regarding the excess men in those two countries. I read part of one about China. It is very depressing. The short story is that because of the one-child per family policy for the past 40 years and a bias in favor of men and boys, parents chose to have a son over a daughter. So now, today, there are something like 20 million or so more men between 15 and 30 years of age than women in the same age cohort. Young Chinese men are having a whole lot of difficulty finding wives and girlfriends. The young men who don't have enough money for regular sex with prostitutes don't get any sex at all! There is a thriving 'foreign wife' industry going on where Chinese men import wives from nearby countries. But who wants to move to China? North Koreans!
We think we have it bad here in the US. We do, but it is way worse in China for men who aren't rich. I looked at the sex ratio of men to women in various countries. It is not good. The best ratios for us men are countries with civil wars going on. The ratios in safe, developed countries only tip in our favor after age 65. (That is good only for the men who live that long.)

My experience is that many are coming here to North America for jobs AND wives. I have met several Indian men and some Chinese men who came to the US on student visas or H1-be visas and married (White) American women.
But such is Asia. And I am trying to improve my situation, so they are on their own.

The marriage will never be boring that is certain. India has a caste system and people from different castes do not normally intermarry, so it should be interesting to see how a white woman fits into that system.
As for China, the Communist Party is engaging other countries for political and economic reasons, but the majority of its population is still suspicious and xenophobic towards foreigners.
