Had to go today as weather real warm and first day suited to the outdoor pool and sun chairs for a while.

Tried to catch the train from Frankfurt West to Friedrichsdorf but several Police and DB staff there and displays indicated several scheduled trains to Friedrichsdorf were cancelled. Firmuss[/QUOTE]1) From the airport, take a train to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main station) ; from there, look for signs directing you to S Bahn, on the lower level. Take the S bahn train to Friedrichsdorf (roughly 20 min.). From the station in Friedrichsdorf, you'll need a taxi, and there will almost always be one or two available. I don't remember the cost for a taxi, but I think it's 10 or 12 euros each way.

2) I stay at the Mercure Hotel in Friedrischdorf. I would estimate that it's a 10-12 min. Walk from the station (uphill) , and perhaps a little difficult to find at night if it's your first time there. You can reserve a room / check rates by internet- look on Mercure Hotels or Accor. Com. Roughly 60 euros.

3) At Oase, admission is 65 euros, and a trip to a zimmer is 50 for 30 min. Add 50 for CIM and other extra services.

By the way, in good weather and during the day, it might be possible to walk to Oase from the station in Friedrichsdorf (But I'm an enthusiastic walker!).

I am continually disappointed by the absence of May because I only met her once (2 sessions) and forgot to get a number for contact.
