I didn't know there were several massage shops with the same name. As I said I'm pretty sure it was at Benz massage shop, and what I'm absolutely certain is that is was on the beach side of the road. Not the side of Junceylon but the other one.

That cuts it down to two shops, one sort of on the point of the bend as you walk, and one about 100 m further away as you walk away from Bangla Road.

You haven't made it all that easy for those wanting to find Yern at Benz, as there are 3 Benz Massages shops, 1, 2, and 3, clustered in that little area.

Just been to Patong for a week. My yearly visit.

I'd say it's been more quiet than usual, or that was at least my impression. Less offer and more pricey. But the price going up every year makes sense, as everything else does.

However, I did manage to find some gems, as always. Bangla Rd offered the same action that always does.

The highlight of the trip was a 20 something masseuse in one of the massage shops in second street, not far from Junceylon mall. I think it was in a parlor named Benz. If you look through all the ladyboys you can find real gems around there. Masseuse was a total spinner, super cute, I think she said she was 20 or 21, named something like Yern. Beautiful face, skinny but not too much, rounded boobs and a beast when it was time for action. I repeated a few times with her. She will be there about 10 more days here before she goes back to Kohn Kaen, so pay her a visit now if you're around.

Other than that, while hanging out in the beach at sunset I discovered that it is extremely easy to meet civilians at that time of the day: tried talking to a few non-working girls who were walking or hanging out in the beach and I was surprised of the incredible success rate, most of the girls I talked to were happy to go for a drink right there on the spot. And from those who went to have a drink, around 75% were happy to go back to my hotel room afterwards. So a complete night for zero baht (yeah alright, paid for the drinks and all, but chatting in the bar was a pleasure for me as well). I'm 41 but most people think I'm in my thirties, and it was easy enough to get girls who were about 22 to 25 to get a drink.

Will come back to Patong in a month, now I'm heading to The Phills to AC. After coming back to Patong, I'll visit Pattaya. Will write a report if any adventures are worth mentioning. Cheers.

Is it to slow July? And the diving, worth it?

There's a few on Soi Seadragon, the Soi of Bangla Road that has all the gogo's in it, same side as Suzy Wongs is.

They don't show up on google maps so you need to do a walk through.

Alternately, ask one of the street walkers, they will know.

Hey, I will not able to go vacation until the second half of May. I read weather can start to get bad then which would limit time on the beach and swimming can be banned. Also I read many girls leave during this time. Any experience with going in May?

By mid May, low season has started, the weather is still good, warm with plenty of sunshine.

The change to low season is characterized by a change in wind direction from easterly to westerly.

As to the beaches, well you can still spend time on them, but going into the water needs additional care.

As most beaches in Phuket. Especially the tourist are are west facing, they are now exposed to the winds, and swell.

Pretty much they all become surf beaches, and they nearly always have dangerous rip currents.

Most of the time the beaches will be closed with red flags, but if they are open, definitely swim only between the flags.

As to the girls, there may be less of them than in high season, but not noticeably so at all.

After all the girls have to work and earn money, and all the other places better than Phuket for them to go are already filled with girls (Pattaya, Bangkok).

So I wouldn't worry about the availability of girls in enough volume to find what you're looking for.

I stayed in Patong. Next time I wouldn't stay here, it's the most touristy area of Phuket and a party spot for young European bros and gangs of Indian men and general beginner travelers. Walking down the street it's just massage parlor after parlor and the girls literally grab your arms and a few just grabbed my cock and called me handsome. If you see older women out front it's usually just a massage spot, but if they are younger you can most likely expect FS. I mean you literally got fight these bitches off, they grab your arms, try to stand in the way of the narrow sidewalks, it's a bit much.

Bangla is like Nana Plaza in BKK, but worse, it's like a shitty Vegas, this is where the famous ping pong show is. You can't hear anything because all the clubs are having speaker wars with each other, so it's like walking through a poorly remixed pop techno nightmare, also the music is 10 - 15 years behind and sometimes just terrible. I went to a strip club with a Thai buddy and it was mid, some chubby girl locks on to me as I roll in and has zero tact or sales technique. I mean at one point she just pulled her thong aside and showed me her pussy. I switched her out real quick, for a smaller girl with an incredible boob job, soft and supple, and nice jiggly ass that wasn't too muscular. She was great but just kept repeating Happy New Year LOL and she couldn't give me her number because of the cameras. Again the language barrier was tough. I don't know why more of these girls don't like to learn basic english, they'the make so much more dough.

Weird fact, they don't let locals into many strip clubs, so my local Thai friend couldn't go everywhere with me, so limited our options. Suzie Wong wouldn't let him in.

Oddly the best experience I had on this trip was the next night. I was walking to get dinner and I walked north on one of the streets a few in from the beach. These are a bit less crowded and I passed Lucky Massage and there were a few girls out front but they were chill, they weren't doing too much, and I caught eyes with one and she just gave me a sultry look like usual but didn't try to grab me or squeal as I walked by. I asked her name and said I might be back, so I went and ate and drank and thought about it. I walked back and went for it. She was tall and had a very cute face. I had an inkling something was different, that 6th sense men just have, but my curiosity whispered to keep going.

The prices in Phuket are way less, they were like 400 - 800 baht for massage, which leads to other stuff, so even if you are upsold, it would still be only 1600 maybe for FS? I don't know I don't haggle because it's a turn off to me. She said her number and I just went with it and ended up paying her 3000 baht for FS.

The backrooms here are actually kinda lovely in a vintage way. They are little stalls with a cushion and lit with colorful warm lights. It's beachy feeling. So I lay down and take off all my clothes. She comes back with her little kit and we start messing around and by this time after the fake tits (which were incredible BTW) I knew she was a lady boy. So I just asked and she said yes, but then when she took off her clothes there was new plumbing. Honestly it felt really similar and from what I could see in the dim light it looked pretty normal too. These south east Asian doctors must be artists.

Now the reason it was enjoyable was because she was into it or she had great acting chops, either way it felt real and like she wasn't going through the motions.

Planning a trip to Thailand with scuba as my first priority. Ladies as my second. I keep reading Phuket is better for diving and Pattaya is better for ladies. Anyone give me insite on where to go in Phuket for good diving. I am a baby diver just starting out. I have my own equipment. Bonus points if you can tell me what the lady scene would look like at that location.

Yes, Phuket is 20 times better than Pattaya for diving if you are visiting from early November thru end April.

From May to October it is only 10 times better.

And also yes, Pattaya is 10-20 times better than Phuket for mongering.

Nowhere else in Thailand has anywhere near the mix of diving and mongering as Phuket.

All boat day diving trips leave and return from Chalong in Phuket, with beach diving also available nearby at Kata Beach and Ya Nui and Ao Sane beaches in Rawai.

Patong is the main mongering center in Phuket, but there is no good diving there and its 30-60 minutes travel each way to Chalong (due to start of / end of day heavy traffic).

Rawai, right next door to Chalong (5 km away) has the second largest concentration of mongering and ladies outside of Patong, so it is the best place to stay.

Chalong also has 15-20 bars with ladies clustered around the pier area.

I live full time in Phuket, am a PADI instructor, and have my own dive business based in Rawai, so I am well qualified to advise you on diving here. Also, if you look at my posts in this forum, you will find me sharing a lot of information, and I am also mentioned many times as providing good advice to visitors to Rawai, both for mongering and diving.

Sorry just saw this now: I was referring mainly to the massage parlours: girls outside were not really attractive, many of them middle aged or plain ugly. The bars girls were 50% plain ugly and there was a 20% fuckable but I did not even bother to stop by as it's not my thing. In Patong you have a lot more beauties in the bars although I seem to understand that bringing them in your room is a very difficult thing to do and requires a lot of patience and money, which I do not have. Not sure if you already went, sorry for the late reply.

Worst case scenario I'll have to go to Patong and back some days, but I reckon I'll find something fuckable in Rawai. I'm less about the optics and more about the service anyway.
