What's with the private detailed questions guys?

This is my latest one, at least this one had the courtesy to suggest I answer in the open forum, so I am.

THEIR QUESTIONS OF ME.

I am planning to visit Phuket for about 4 days in early November. While I will be staying near Karon beach, I was thinking of visiting beer bars in Rawai for 2-3 evenings.

Could you please help me out with a few questions I had? I have RTFF.

1. IIRC, a several months old post mentioned how things (LD, BF, lady's fee) have gotten much costlier since a lot of Russians settled around Rawai. What's the situation like right now?

2. Since I am staying at Karon beach and I do not like to drive scooters, I am thinking of using Bolt motorbike taxis to barhop in Rawai if needed. Is ride availability usually a problem in the area?

3. I am aware Phuket is not Pattaya but just so I know, how choosy can I be when picking up a lady from a Rawai bar? I like young petite women without tattoos and braces. Am I going to have a hard time finding someone like that?

4. The bars start opening around 5 pm, right? When do they close?

Sorry about so many questions. Some of these topics have been touched upon previously in the Phuket thread but the posts either are a little too old or were not very definitive.

A. Not all that well then, IMHO.

Qn 1. Russians and costs gone up (Paraphrased from above).

An 1. General costs I feel have not gone up at all in Rawai, this includes drink prices, ladydrink prices, barfines or ST / LT rates.

ThaiFriendly freelancers ask more, because they set themselves on Patong rates, in bar and nightclub freelancers in Rawai are still same same prices.

What Russian living here have fucked up is property prices, and condo / pool villa monthly rental costs.

Qn 2. Since I am staying at Karon beach and I do not like to drive scooters, I am thinking of using Bolt motorbike taxis to barhop in Rawai if needed. Is ride availability usually a problem in the area?

An 2. Bolt, GRAN and InDrive are all available. Motorbike taxis are not so common, and decidedly risky for long trips because of hills, for short trips around Rawai they are OK.

Qn 3. I am aware Phuket is not Pattaya but just so I know, how choosy can I be when picking up a lady from a Rawai bar? I like young petite women without tattoos and braces. Am I going to have a hard time finding someone like that?

An 3. No, there are all types around Rawai. But, like Pattaya, most girls are Isaan, and Isaan girls love tattoos and to get their teeth fixed.

So searching for young petite, no tattoos, no braces is not that easy fucking anywhere in Thailand, so hunting new arrivals is your best bet as they haven't yet earnt the money for tattoos and braces.

Qn 4. The bars start opening around 5 pm, right? When do they close?

An 4. When they want to, as in no customers paying the bills. The legal closing time is 2 am, like all of Thailand. But bars stay open around Rawai much later, and Club Zhu stays open until 4-5 am.

TF = ThaiFriendly.

FL = FreeLancer.

ST = Short Term.

LT = Long Term.

LD = Lady Drink.

BF = Bar Fine.

RTFF = Read The Fucking Forum.

FS = Full Service.

Been here for a few days. Overall, I like the atmosphere as I wanted to mix in a lot of are and are while I was on vacation. As for the p4 p scene, it's definitely not Pattaya, not that I was expecting that. The gogo bars are a good time for drinking. I drank at one of the outside bars and inquired about pricing. 5 drink minimum+ 3 k BF + 3 k ST or 5 k LT. I didn't ask in the gogo as that's what I expected, but didn't expect that from one of the road bars. I will use the bars for drinking. Especially given the quality of the girls, outside of the gogos, is not very high.

I went to Christin's on the first day. 3600. Soapies are probably my favorite activity. It was a decent experience. The girls are older but plenty of busty girls which lend well to a soapie massage. The girl was very outgoing and it was an enjoyable experience overall. If you haven't been to a soapie before, it's worth a go, but it's mid level in terms of girls.

Last night I checked out one of the "European" bars just out of curiosity. 350 for a beer and 650-950 for LD. I assume these are money laundering establishments. A few cute girls, but not in Thailand for Russians.

TF is by far the best option. There are a lot of good looking FL on there. Prices I've been quoted so far are 1500-2 k for ST and 3 k for LT. I've met with one so far and it was a good experience. We'll see as the trip continues as I've been making quite a list.

I'll venture out to some of the other areas at some point, like rawai, but as a solo traveler I usually tend to stay close to my base for drinking nights. I have started talking to one FL who works at a bar near Kata, so I might go check that area out. What's the scene like over there?

Anyways, those are my initial thoughts. I'll add more later in my trip.
