There's a thing called Athlete's foot which I believe is the reason one should always wear your sandals.

And plantar warts, too.

Both of them are common skin disease caused by using barefoot to walk in a wet environment.

I got plantar warts before. From then on, I have learned never walk barefoot or share unclean shoes with other people in public places.

This also makes me think about BBFS.

If a punter can easily get plantar warts or athlete's foot by walking barefoot in a brothel, what will a punter get by having BBFS with the prostitutes.

So, I will never try AO in my life.

Ironically some of the toxins in the disinfect spray or wash are much worse health hazards than some harmless yet smelly [CodeWord140]. But not many think about this. Water is the key. And lots of it.

I have always brought mine from USA so I don't know, but you can get pretty much everything online, right? All different flavors with shipping worldwide on ebay as I write this.

It is a surprise for visitors from some countries that it is etiquette never to walk in communal showers with bare feet. So, good point everybody. Germany is a good example to us.

Maybe there should be a law forbidding barefoot bathing: it could be added to an existing law

I used to step out of my sandals into the showers to keep my sandals from being water logged but soon found out what Athlete's foot is. Plus the fact that some people [CodeWord140] in the showers. Thus it makes sense to wear sandals all the time. If you're going to use the club provided sandals make sure you give them a good spray of the disinfectant spray usually found near the sandals. Some clubs don't take the time to disinfect them before putting them back in the racks. Just my humble opinion.

I have been to 3 different gyms the last week. And no signs like that here where I live (not Germany though). However these FKK shower floors tend to be much much more slippery than the shower floors at the 2 gyms I normally go to. So in an fkk I wouldnt dream about not wearing slippers. But it is not the same everywhere.

These are great in lieu of mouthwash, much more convenient. Little strips that melt on your tongue and work really well. I always get the cinnamon ones.

These are great for giving one a fresh pleasant-smelling breath but they lack the cleaning / disinfectant action that an alcohol mouthwash provides.

Although I have not seen this Listerine brand of strips available in Europe, I have seen a number of these strips sold under different brands. I even found these breath strips in Romania once, but they weren't as strong as the Listerine brand.

I guess more and more fkks are learning. In Macau all the sauans have free mouthwash, toothbrushes, free barber blades, q tips etc etc.

Most guys use the club-supplied shower slippers but you can bring your own if you prefer your own waterproof slippers for some reason.

The only thing a punter should prepare for himself when visiting an FKK club is a pair of water-proof sport sandals.

Google "Plantar wart" picture and the cause of it.

One should never walk in bare foot in the public places.

I have got of them years ago. It is not a serious disease but very annoying.

Because I do not drive in Germany, I always visit clubs by trains and buses.

When I visit a club, I will have my backpack with me.

In my backpack, I will bring my own sandals, valuables, and other digital gadgets.

Anything that you think you will use in the club, you can carry with you in your backpack.
