Posts: 3All Germany for 9 euros
A very interesting offer this summer: you can travel one month for only 9 euros on all local trains in Germany!
Not valid on IC or ICE, but you can cross the country with RE trains.
Details here: https://www.bahn.com/en/offers/regio...euro-ticket-en.

Posts: 18077I don't know if Goldengate really opened, but I hear more and more about YY NL reopening, would be great news for me who like high level, with rooms with shower, when 6 is falling more and more Balkanians / Arabs. But between Zurich for new wow Swiss, Dortmund for outstanding lovely German and Roermond, when A3 south Koln was closed on Saturday, I will have to accelerate to create elegant beauty rocket on 4 wheels, when also plan to go to discover FKK Kitzbühel. At on next week end, even driving like on ice with very tired, swinging rear on old lady but engine is still so healthy, just a fight sweating all along. Have to get agreement very fast, because I will have to be much faster than cleaning left line since years.

Posts: 18Tips for Saving Money on Train Tickets?
Time for this American to get back to Frankfurt after almost 3 years! Planning to stay in near the hauptbahnhof and do trips out to Sharks / Darmstadt. Is buying one-way train tickets the most cost effective? Are there full day or weekly passes tickets that might save me some money? The cost adds up.
Also, I've never once been asked to show my ticket in the past -- tempting, but I assume it's not worth the risk?

I'm heading there soon, and I'm not from the EU. Taking a molecular PCR test at airport the day before, for outbound. Bringing some proctored, rapid antigen, approved for travel Covid tests from binaxnow (emed) for return home. I am looking for info on digitizing my vaccine documentation. My research has turned up his article which seems to spell it all out. It's not for NRW / Ruhr but I'll assume it's similar unless told otherwise. Hopefully I can find a pharmacy and an English speaking pharmacist who can make this as painless as possible, and will do it for me as soon as my first day there!

Are they even checking for Covid certs on phone or paper vaccine cards right now? Does it differ between the big clubs and the smaller RTC clubs?
