What are the best massage parlors near soi cowboy or more specifically Hotel Carlton? Really hope once checked in, to get into it quickly. Also I've looked at some massage parlors that had websites / reviews that said they accept credit card. Is that safe or only use cash? In general what is everyone's thoughts (soapy, beer bars, gogo bar, etc) on credit cards?

I'd say never use your credit card in any of these places. But that's just me. Whether it's a soapie, oilie, girlie bar, or any kind of establishment like that, I'd say just use cash. Cash is still very much king in Thailand. No way to trace it back to you. No fraud possible. You pay, services are rendered, and then you split. Easy peasy, lemon squeazy. Why risk any kind of information or overpayment via a credit card?

I've had the opposite problem in various small shops throughout Thailand. If I ask for "oil massage, no special" or "foot massage only", I sometimes get refused. Responses are sometimes "only do special massage" or "Will call freelancer to give foot massage." This includes places with the prices for standard massages posted on signs. Of course, the nicer places do massages without special, it's the little, sometimes grungy shops that might insist on special.

I never use credit cards in these places but also never heard of any foul play so I guess it's your call.

Virtually all shops in that area will agree to give you a simple HJ for an extra tip, but many will not take the initiative.

If they don't take the initiative, once you've rolled on to your back, when she's massaging the upper part of your legs, gently and slowly, put your hand on her hand. Wait a second or two, and as long as she does not pull her hand away in revulsion, proceed to, equally gently and slowly, nudge her hand towards your dick while giving her a wink and a smile if you like. Many massage shops in Sukhumvit 22 (not the notorious nuru ones) will do that. Walk in and talk to the cashier / manager, tell her you want massage and Chuck-wow (or gesture hand). She will assign a girl that will do this. What you don't want is to go to these places and end up with the girl that does not offer any "special". (Some shops forbid it, but they know it happens).

You are contradicting yourself there slightly, you are successful with the dating sites, but easier to visit a MP. Just have an exit strategy ready when the girl arrives at your hotel or condo, tell up at the start, you need to work later or will be getting up dead early to go travelling. Some story in case you want to ditch her. I do agree after a couple of hours they become like clingy kids especially when they start getting hungry. Not really a contradiction. I'm apparently not charming enough to suffer NicFrenchy's problem to any notable extent, but there are obviously no awkward moments in getting a p4 p girl to leave your place after you fucked her and paid for the pleasure. Many girls might not be there when we show up but these are not fake profiles. You can always book any of the girls listed for the next day, I've done it many times in the past. They will just ask for a name and phone number, no need to pay in advance. And in any case the girl is not available during that period, they will tell you straight up. Interesting, I remember 20 years back the price was 400/ room and 1500/ sex so 2 K for 40 mn isn't a bad deal at all. 40 mn is enough (30 mn of sex) as I guess people who choose this don't want the massage at all. Just shower / sex.
