Been in Cambodia, a month. 3 days PHnon penh, 20 days in Siem reap, then a week more in phnon penh.

Airport guys are good just finger print, and see the e-visa. Arrived in eveiing, so book a pick up to hotel. It is less to say about the airport.

Hotel:

PHnon penh: 3 days in Sun & moon city.

Stayed at the Sun and Moon a few years ago, and back then the pool belonged to the hotel, and it was awesome. The pool alone would be worth the price of the room, which, as far as I remember, was pretty high by the local standards. It sucks that guests can't use it anymore.

PHnon penh: 3 days in Sun & moon city. Nice room with nice view, clean, breakfast is ok. Locate in bar street 130, when go out, so many annoying 'Hi' s from the girls sit outside the bars. After check in, with 50 usd in wallet, visit one bar with less girls. Talk with a girl slim short and little bit dark, my type. Beer: 2 doller for 1 & 4 usd -the ladydrink, 2 other girls coming ask for drink, I said no, let them go, they try to massage your tools, English is OK. Finally take the girl back to hotel, total 30 more usd for drinks. They give many riels and 10 usd back, seems less money they made that day, the cashier go out to find changes. Make deal with the girl 50 usd for whole night. Nice GFE experience. Oral kiss, play are ok, just little bit shy, total 3 shots, one in mouth. She left next day 7:00. Put 5000 are in her pocket for texi. Nice the 1st night.

Hotel is nice and with a top pool but could not use, it belong to the spa on top. Coffee is ok, and food is not good. View is nice. Staff are friendly, when I went out they kindly help me to intall a Pass app. Nice to order tuktuk, and price are fixed and reasonable. And highly recommend the Pass app. View in PHoon penh is not too bad but nothing special, crowd it is, but hot outside, so back in hotel 4: pm, shower with hot water, some say in comment that no hot water, but they do has hot water, just coming late, you need to waiting and waste some water. Street food and drinks are ok. Just feel you are so rich eating with some thousands for a meal. Haha, SEA that is a good feelings. The staff help me to buy a sim card. That is nice FB an Youtube are opened to me now. And make some Riels. Money exchange are everywhere in day time, I just found that it is better to use riel, because they just count 4000 for 1 usd, that is nice you just feel you get things cheaper. Haha, sorry I am not a rich guy, I like money. I calculate every time I spend riels, haha, nice experience in SEA.

Walk around after sun was leaving, not that hot, but streets are crowd. I do not like so many tuktuk and motos. And now I found it is safe here, and no thief and rub events, so I bring little bit more cash in pocket. Walk along the riverside, many locals eating and chat in group there, they are friendly, some are sell fruit, fast food & drinks there. So you can easy to get water and beers when walking. A group of youngsters friendly invite me to join them eating with them, they speak nice English, for me it is easy to communicate with them, a girl even speak a little bit Chinese, she said she learn Chinese in school. Nice conversation, they told me some interesting local things. Normally locals are friendly, just little bit shy. Some Indian guys there also, they do not that friendly when you say Hi. Have some very few WG walking around there, also LBOYs. You can rent a boat drink and eat there, but I am not try, the locals told me that it is safe but need to bargain the price. Not try, just afraid they add the price when you are in center of the river, price is not that high, reasonable, but I will not try that alone. Meet a working girl who is short slim, ask 30st, bargain, finally take her to hotel 40 LT. That is after 12:00. Have trouble when back to hotel, they do not let her in, because she just bring a copy of the ID, not original. And I just afraid that she is too young, but staff told me the ID copy said she is 20. And they talk a little bit with local languages, finally the staff agreed to let her in. Just simple things doing, but always say tired when oral and on top. Fake shout loud. Try to leave after a shot, so set her free, at 4:00 around, I just need a quite sleep. Not good feelings as yesterday, but she pretend to enjoy slapping. Just trying to make me out, I think. Before leave, she ask the taxi fee, I said no.

3rd day, wake up late, so skip the breakfast. Wifi in room is not that good. And have some job to finish. So find a cafe shop by google, pass app tuktuk there, nice cafe, with some locals also there with laptops, western style food, and coffee, thanks god, it is not so difficult to find that kind place, if wifi is not good in hotel. After job done. Just browsing and eye contact with locals also there in cafe, most will avoid and move away, only one girl give a smile feed back, so I approach to her table, start a friendly talking, culture, cooking, Siem reap, she asked may questions about China, she knows only simple Chinese words. But English is ok for us. Invite her for dinner, she agreed to eat here in the cafe, her office is nearby, and she is back. Enjoyed a nice dinner there, she drove me back to hotel, on the way she helped me to book a ticket to Siem reap, nice good girl to chat with. Local Khamar people are nice and friendly, just little bit shy to strangers.

After shower, nightlife is on going, go around, all small bars with annoying Hi, and tuktuk drivers say' girl girl you want a girl ' trying to find a club nearby or disco, failed. Maybe another place, not the riverside. When passing the previous bar, the girl run out grab my arm say: thanks for the money, I was same that 5000 is just small for the tuktuk, though 5000 is a big number. So I go in the bar, beers, mojito, whiskey, lady drinks, and 3 girls together, chit chat, finally take the girl back, no trouble when enter the hotel, just tell the staff for 10 usd in my bill and sign. Sun & moon ask 10 usd for extra person. And check ID by person, so I will shift to another hotel next time. Any way a nice night but I am not the one fixed to a regular, though she is a good nice girl.

Next morning, give her 10 usd extra in her pocket, when she left the room.

11:00 in the bus station, trip to Siem reap started. It is in my list for a long time any way, though I like Siem reap more than Phnon Penh. People in Cambodia are more friendly than Thailand. That is my personal opinion.

The driving is horrendous. It makes Thailand look good. It's good compared to phnom pehn though.

I have not been to the Temples yet. I may go out this week to get a yearly pass, hopefully for free. I was there during the Covid lockdown, the whole park was mine. Based on my prior visas I should be able to get the free one.

Magical place. I avoided Angkor Wat for years because of the crowds. It would have been a shame never to see this place.

I was there in 2023 and 2022. Both times were deserted especially 2022. You could even be in the main temple and still have long periods of solitude. I collided accidentally with a Khmer holiday and then it was packed but other than that, empty.

I used to rent a good mountain bike. $3-4 a day. Last time I rented a scooter. Nothing special but totally worked at $9 a day. If you have a big head, bring your own helmet. I couldn't even buy a helmet in Siem Reap that fit my head.

Mongering is limited although there is plenty of slappers in the foreigner bars on Sok San. By skeeze I mean old ratty faded etc. You may find a gem. Rates I hear are $50, negotiate, it's a buyers market unless you are a sex addict.

Pub Street has walkers.

Temple Bar was dead the night I was there.

Khmer pub Street has hottie.

The tuk-tuk guys are relentless and desperate for custom. As soon as I hear "Hello Papa" I smile, look them in the eye and say "no weed no ketamine no ladyboy no lady boom boom, no massage".

My rule of thumb is $1 short ride, $2 long ride. It's a judgement call, foll your map, download Grab or another transport app.

DO NOT buy weed from tuk-tuk guys or in any of the bars around SokSan road and Funky Lane. Do not smoke weed around Pub Street.

Best weed in town is at Lunar Park Bar off Concrete Drain Road.

As has been said before Siem is not a mongering destination but there is stuff there. I try to concentrate on backpacking Euro girls. Myself.

She had the weekend off so I took her out all three nights and then back to hotel for some fun and the only damage was food and drinks, maybe $50 per night. I don't know if I got lucky or what but I seemingly got more matches and and girls willing to meet off Tinder in Siem Reap than I do in Phnom Penh.

Another highlight was Temple Sky Lounge. It's on Pub Street, on the rooftop of the big Temple club. Many obvious pro-girls there, some ladyboys, and many more just normal girls there to have fun and maybe find a new foreign boyfriend. Definitely a place worth stopping by if you're looking for action. It's no Pontoon in Phnom Penh but was the best freelancer spot I've been to so far in Siem Reap.

If you are a westerner, go to the lunar Park and you won't get ripped off on weed.

The bars along Sok San Road seem to be good for finding companionship. There is an air of desperation right now. I was repeatedly approached by women begging for my company, saying they had not had a customer all week. I stopped in a couple of massage shops for a simple massage and quickly found myself covered in titties -- not just two, but four or six. The chinese tourism traffic is entirely gone.

Ill be over to Siem in August and in all probablity setting up my residence there. I was there all through Covid and its a great place, albiet a bit lacking for mongers. But, with tourists still gone, now is my chance to grab a fab deal on a villa.
