For those looking for some intel on the Avani Pattaya, please note that solo male "guests" are allocated the worst room in the room category purchased by default. The reason being is that solo travelling males are deemed low risk of complaint, as such are allocated to worst room in category. This information is perpetuated in the guests booking profile, and is repeated at other Avani locations. I have personally experienced this issue at Avani Pattaya and Avani Ao Nang. Despite what details you put in your booking, reception staff will try and ascertain your travelling status at check in to see if you are a male travelling solo.

This forum has a lot of good reviews somehow. It is one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in Pattaya. Apart from the breakfast buffet, I did not like anything.
The biggest one. Aircon takes forever to start after plugging the keycard in. And it maxes out at an insufficient level of cooling.
Smoking weed is not allowed even in the room balcony. But I guess some people would prefer that.
If my memory serves me well, the bathroom had a weird smell.

Just a quick one. Stayed here on recommendations from this forum. Hotel is nice enough. Took their duplex room and it did the job nicely for me. Space for fun downstairs, and private room for me upstairs. Didn't use the plunge pool. Seemed more a novelty than practical. Also sound of water pump for the pool under the stairs was noticeable. Reception and doorman were always professional when checking my guests in and out. Breakfast was grim tbh. Nothing tasted good. But my biggest complaint is location. Sure I had a bunch of venues nearby. But as a first timer in Pattaya I realized very quickly that I should have taken a hotel on beech road around where the Hilton is.

Posts: 642Mailed their customer care and they confirmed the age limit.
I am planning to stay few days in either payaa or siam design hotels. Anyone stayed there in the past and what's the age limit?
Their customer care is unresponsive.

Thank you.
It look good views, but Grand Hotel do not have swimming pool.
I cannot stay all the days fucking, or in the bar, and island is not near. I can go, but not every day.
This time I was also look for a beach on the cost.
But swimming pool is very usefull for spare time.
March hotel have swimming pool, and I found in very high season 40 euro a night. Swimming pool side room are 44 euro a night, not so much more.
But if it is not noisy I like to see the main entrance, and I watch a couple of video: March hotel is not in a road with traffic. Moreover I ask for room in high.
Floor, so I think will be right.

Posts: 2523The Dynasty Inn is OK, but GiovanniVolo is looking for a quiet hotel. The rooms at the front side of the Dynasty Inn are not quiet, because there's a beer bar at the corner of Soi 13 and Sai Song Road (Second Road). The rooms at the back side are much less noisy. However, the walls between the rooms are made of wood, which means you can hear your neighbour(s) watching tv, talking on the phone, fart, and fuck.

Posts: 35I just stayed at the Grand Hotel Pattaya and I was shocked how quiet it was! This hotel is literally 10 meters off walking street right in the middle of all the action. I had a sea view room on the 8th floor facing north (towards Pattaya Beach) and when I closed the sliding door to the balcony it was almost totally silent! I was expecting it to be noisy and brought earplugs but did not need them at all! I paid $50 a night on Agoda and will stay there again. It was great to be so close to the action and the hotel does a good job of checking ids and calling you when your guest is leaving to make sure everything is ok. My room had a great view, see attached pic.

Posts: 24I stayed at Dynasty Inn Pattaya in February this year. On Soi 13 between Song Road and Beach Road. Walking distance to all the action except Soi 6, which is easily accessed with the Bhat bus.

No problem bringing in girls. They usually asked to see an ID. I booked again this November at about $50 per night. Clean and the rooms had a balcony. I would recommend unless you want to spend a lot of money on fancy decor.

Hello.
I am looking for a hotel in Pattaya for December 2026 - January. So very high season. The ones I use to take have very high price.
I look a clean one in the center of action, from soi 4 till waling street.
With a normal price and good reviwe, for the very high season, I just found March hotel. It also win an Agoda price, but I found in Trip.com for 40 euro for night. For very high season is ok.
Did somebody try March Hotel? Is they nice and clean?
The room in the road side are noise or not? Otherwise I can book the ones in swimming pool side.
Thanks in advance.

You have good taste in ladies Rhino. View Talay 6 has a great location but the quality of the units vary as they all have different owners. I have seen some rooms that looked quite worn. Buyer beware.

Posts: 46The first girl was incredible. Her first night in the bar, fresh off the bus from issan. The girl at 1:22 worked at a beer bar couple blocks away. She was very shy and would only allow the one photo.

Posts: 642It's a good option. Rooms are clean and modern with a big comfy bed. No cupboards though. There was no noise problem when I stayed there. Added bonus is there is a big soapy massage place "pp" right in front of the hotel.
Just keep in mind they don't allow joiners below 20, and housekeeping can be very slow at times.
