A few bar shots from a decade or more ago. There's clearly more chub today, but even back then it was present. Some folks took one for the team (so I've heard).

Posts: 34Thanks to you and Goffering for the comments. Looks like may have to fallback to Bangkok / Pattaya.
Due to flights from Singapore, I've always spent time in AC only. Now coming from Sydney, How about Manila? Would it be same over Christmas week or week before Christmas? Also, Makati / quezon city would have same vibes as AC with Gogo where we can pickup girls!? Thanks again! Happy Mongering!

Lets go for a walk down Dona Carmen St. The pics are in order, with the terminal on the left. It goes on and on for blocks, hundreds of trykes.

I never verified what I was told. I never hung out at Kokomos and Envy, and watch the trike drivers. I walk by them a lot, and it seems they are always waiting for a tourist; hardly ever working.
I wrote Angeles; Angeles is a large city. Outside of Fields Ave, you should be able to get the local price, but of course as a tourist, you have to agree on the price beforehand.

Dont know where you are based but flights from the US are hellish expensive at that time...around $3k US. But fuck it, you only live once.

Are they ignorant, not wanting to negotiate, or exaggerating the cost in the hopes I give them a larger tip.

Posts: 222I was there last year during that week, and yes it was slower, but still plenty of girls, And the NYE party at Aqua was pretty epic. But. I was there for a few weeks so I didn't mind the slower week. I'll be there again this year. But if that's the only week you have, maybe skip. I will say the weather last year was fantastic, for me at least. Overcast almost every day but barely rained in weeks. I like to walk around and I wasn't getting destroyed by the beating sun and sweating my ass off constantly.

Oh, and to top it off, the weather can suck at that time too.
Sorry to rain in your parade. G.
