I have been going to Angeles since early 90's. Been hesitating on this last trip due to some negative statements being made about the way it is now with the Koreans buying most of the bars. I mean my first trip was great and all subsequent trips were also. I did a week trip in September. It still had the road construction happening but it really didn't deter my having to do what I do. Yes the Korean are more now with the bars ownership and it was not as it was years ago. Still I had a great time. Did some bar hopping and barfine or two. Personally I rater do Pinalove as I get alot of girls wanting to meet up upon arrival, so much so that I couldn't meet with them all. The bars were fun but not as fun of years past. Pinalove have was the most cost efficient. I did do two barfines at the bar and it was either 4000-5000 pesos. Boy did the fines went up. The barfine girls were both fun and don't regret it, but I paid 3000 pesos meeting with the Pinalove girls which was equally enjoyable. On an personal level the Korean bars girls were to damn pretty and prissy for my liking anyways. I prefer average looking girls as they are more down to earth and are more willing to please I think. I had a good time visiting despite the negative views of some. I just made the most of what is offered and I wasn't disappointed. I still plan on when I retire to do longer stays. In my opinion it is not even close to the prior years, but you have to change up your thinking and move differently. If your adaptable you will enjoy it still. My stats, 56 year old African American. I will be going back next year as I do enjoy the Philippines as well as the Dominican Republic. Will be going to Eastern Europe next year also as I lived in Bulgaria for a year and enjoyed my time there. No play by play in this thread but trust me when I say I had a great time and the trip was worth the long flight and cost.
