Be aware of dual tier pricing in Panama. Through a travel agent in Panama City, the Decameron quoted $53 for a room all inclusive and Playa Blanca was $55 all inclusive, single person. When I went to reserve and pay, the price jumped to $87 and $85 respectively, since I did not have a Panama identity card. If you still want to book at either of these 2 resorts, I hear the food is better at Playa Blanca, especially breakfast.

The Eurohotel now has a sign behind the main desk which states "visitors are not permitted in guest rooms". The rate was $55 a night. There is a pensionada right beside the Eurohotel which had a low occupancy rate most nights, and is probably cheaper.

Las Vegas suites quoted $77 a night.
