In a city with millions of people I would not say there are lots of options. The biggest problem I have with the food is the quality of the meat, sauce, and rice is all much lower than it was before. My 8 day visit to Pattaya ended Sunday. There were things which I enjoyed and things which I didn't.

Climate options are either hot and humid or raining, hot and humid. Daily heat index often exceeds 120°F, rain does make it comfortable except for the humidity. I'd recommend bringing an umbrella and hoping for rain.

Now for everyone else, Pattaya really isn't my cup of tea. I can recognize why so many people are so passionate about it. It's quick and easy to find a red light district, I did it without even trying. Getting around is a breeze. Options for mongering are unlimited.
