This is great info as it gives me at least these three prives to check out when I'm not going all the way into centro. There are two major stages where they have forr bands playing, four minor stages with forr p the serra, one disco, several karaokebars, some rock bars and two reggae bars. Plenty of restaurants with good food and decent prices.

On Saturday and Sunday it's open 24 hours. Usually Saturdays are good but it depends om which bands that will play and also when you go. If you go right after carnival there might be very few people as everybody has spent their money. On a rainy evening there might also be very few people.

The majority who goes there are from Zona Norte or from some of the favelas. Specially people who are descendants from Nordeste. The prives in Saens Pea, Tijuca, used to be my absolute favourites. Lots of options, excellent prices and great quality. I've stopped going there because of private reasons, but I guess Saens Pea continues to be among the best monger options in Rio.
