Sure, Petrobras, banks and natural resources but they are not considered global tech firm that VB1 was referring to.

    Meetup in Rio

Long time lurker here, finally with an account. I need to start to thank all contributors on this forum, not just in this thread but also threads related to other cities. It makes it much easier to navigate a new city.

I have been to Rio a few times and I will be back in the beginning of November. I was thinking it could be fun to meetup with someone or a few people and have a few beers and enjoy a few hours together at some good place in Rio Send me a message if you would be interested.

I was having a heinekein with an ISG member at darkroom Monday and I had a question.

So many members come into town for 3 days or 6 and then leave.

    Marquez endures.

At ISG Member 3137 E thanks for the Heineken at darkroom? What is the name or reference for that Marquez incident where the other author punches him for cheating on his wife? I guess file this is under the literature of hoaring / Latin America / magical realism / Jorge amado / bossa nova / Brazil / fim / Fernanda torres.

Ok, that's a fair point. Point me to a case study on nubank, professor nounce, my colleague on the faculty of hoaring, the greatest university in the world. Hmmm.

    Who is Cherry Torn?

    Who is Cherry Torn?

This is where Irony is defined. And confidentiality. You would have to be a actual, in person wingman to realize who the real Cherry Torn is. Which centro prive girl resembles Cherry Torn (see images attached) the scenes of which I will make come true soon! And who is Noemie Bilas?

They'll never get there if you mean creating world class companies.

The only world class biz Brazil produces is cheap pussy.

Rich Brazilians think they are legal geniuses.

    Poor Brazilian cops are corrupt.

    This will never end.

At least they have nice beaches.

    Just don't over pay.

I mean shit, when a grandma selling lemonade in a small Brazilian town has a credit card terminal, I think they should be OK. Of course, nothing good will ever come out of the country where it takes 5 months to register a business. Hopefully, that'll change one day.

This is what, about $180? Well, he had her for a night and a day and was happy with her services. I don't know, but it doesn't sound too excessive to me.

Regarding brazilians eating much. Some do and some don't. There are for sure much more fat people today than 20 years ago, but the obesity doesn't get close to the obesity in USA.

Anyway, it's interesting to visit restaurants that have "come a vontade". Usually these lunch restaurants are located in centro in all major cities in Brazil. You pay a fix price, like 10-25 reais, and have the right to get two pieces of meat / chicken and can fill upp your plate once from a buffet. It's absolutely amazing to see how much food the customers manage to fill up on a plate and it's unbelievable to see how some thin women manage to empty their huge plates. It can be quite disgusting to see how the customers overindulge.

In response to a post I read earlier about the girl eating him out of house and home.

Yes, Brazilian girls have massive appetites. Always asking for food and drinks.

But many of them are overweight. Obesity is just about as bad here as in the USA.

To be honest theres massive amounts of fat and ugly nasty girls here.

Please suggest any G Friendly hotel in copacanaba area

    Gents,

I am thinking of staying in either Ibis Copacabana Posto 2 or Copacabana Mar Hotel and wondering if either of these is guest-friendly. Or are there any other hotels nearby that are guest friendly? I did the RTFF but could not find any definitive information.

Thanks in advance for any intel.

We'll see about that. Brazil is a special case, as they are like the highest social media users in the world and they are getting all bent out of shape about twitter, etc (fkn knuckleheads, I mean, show me one global tech firm that has come out of Brazil).

What's the going rate for 30 min FS in Rio?

I haven't been to Rio for 15 years.

What are most people paying for basic 30 min of FS?
