Medellin is awash with weekend warriors who are beyond lazy. They need everything handed to them on a platter. And Colombia does it. I suspect that there will be some impact on on tourism numbers if Colombia takes away 90 day free entry and goes for a visa application.

Only lazy people with the lowest level of commitment would be turned away by the E-visa requirement coming into play. It's a low-cost, low-level nuisance kind of thing that won't turn away anybody intent on going to Brazil. You got to do what you got to do if you want to be who and where you want to be. I think the impact on tourism will be virtually nil.

Amen. I agree on the gringo comment brother!! Have seen Medellin become Costa Rica before my eyes these past few years. I am assuming only scandallo and similar venues may have some price impact not the regular clinicas then.

99% of the clinical clients (ok, I may be exaggerating a bit LOL) are local Brazilians. We have no impact on the pricing whatsoever. Which is a good thing! Don't what SP to become the next Medellin Colombia. Nothing good follows gringos.

It will just have the same effect like how Scandallo increased their entry fee. They had this visa before the pandemic, so it didn't really change much. They are just going back to it after removing it during the pandemic.

I am wondering if the new "visa necessary" from January 10th will have a impact on tourism and pricing. I guess the question is. Would influx of foreigners decrease due to the hassle of getting a Visa. And would this have any impact on pricing in clinicals / boates etc?

That is not my point. It's about your offer, not the offer from the girl.

My point was just to relate a story where that specific amount of money was involved regardless of who's offer it was. I remember it because it was the lowest price at which I ever could have taken a girl at Scandallo.

Several years ago pre-COVID when the prime base rate at Scandallo was 600 reals (I consider the prime to be 1,000 now), a girl offered to go with me for 400. I turned her down because she really wasn't for me in Scandallo (very plain compared to the hotties present and she had to know it thus her below market offer). She then offered to be my partner at a swing club (said she knew of some in Moema), but again I declined. But, that was the only time somebody was willing to go to the room at Scandallo for as low as 400, and she was the one who approached me with that price right off the bat. Would have been a bargain to bang a hottie, which she was not. No deal! Willing to pay more to get exactly what I want.

That is not my point. It's about your offer which is being influenced by this thread and contributing to the price increase, not the offer from the girl.

Yeah, it is getting very ridiculous. It was already ridiculous last year and now it is a lot worse. The worst ones are the ones who are asking that high of an amount anyways so its a loose-loose situation.

After a nice meeting with a friend I met previously, I decided there was time to check the clinics. I took an Uber to an address next to tangera and walked in. It was wall to wall men waiting for girls. The girls were not walking around so I assume most of them had scheduled via whatsapp. Decided to walk to a couple others and the last one was Zeus. It was not as crowded and there were 6 girls on the roster. The quality of the girls has improved since they opened last year. Or was it two years ago. Time flys. I have known the manager since 2018 and we had a nice visit though she was busy arranging the sessions. It is much less expensive as another fellow stated below and now that the quality has improved it may be worth a try for some of you.

As I walked by Kalina there was a pretty redhead walking into the club. I did not enter but from the outside it did not appear to be as packed as Tangera.

Today I will be meeting again with someone I met Last Christmas so will be tied up through the night.
