My impression is that the main part of the Zona is safe. But is dangerous to venture to far out of the Zona. The main risk is is the ratero's Someone told me that the southern part of Tijuana is where the drug cartel violence is taking place.

On the other hand, the heavy presence of the military lowers the chances of a Narco turf war breaking out, and you getting caught in a crossfire because a Narco pistol is as useful as a pocket knife when facing 8 trained Mexican soldiers in assault gear supported by 2 SAWs. So you are safe from Marco turf war shootouts, but not safe from muggings.

The rest of Tijuana is actually pretty tame and quiet. Depending on the neighborhood of course.

That was kind of what I took from our conversation. I think inside the chicas circle this is out in the open. And she mentioned how chicas who have beef spat over this issue.

I mainly prefer BJ's So ask things such as lick my member in certain places. Go harder, deeper etc.

I got word that Hong Kong is the one that bought Cuartos Venicia. So they will tear it down.

As far as HK buying Venicia most likely not for added rooms or bar but parking some of their many shuttle vehicles limos, etc. Maybe not. The place is very narrow and long and there is an existing parking lot adjacent as I recall.

The Zona is safer since there is less places for the Ratero to hide. I have been in the Zona during the day in recent years and have not had any issues. But one should use due caution. The quality is the big downside of visiting the Zona during the day. Summers days in Tijuana are awful because there little breeze if any. I have heard that Kayla comes out during the day. Most of the better looking girls don't come out till around 3 or 4 pm. Carina is typically the only girl worth going wth during the day. I have not see Carina in awhile. I am not sure if she is still around any more.

Yes mornings early in day walking around is the most problematic. Almost impossible to stand still for a full minute for a Uber without a problem from someone.

    Trip report

Was in need of some action and arrived in the Zona around 6:30 pm. As I was crossing border I noticed that the pedestrian was backed up all the till the end. I was a bit surprised so asked on of the security guards and they told me that there was a concert down in Rosarito. Walked around for a bit talked Kathy by the Cascada Hotel. I decided to keep on looking since she told me she would be out till 10 pm. Around 9 pm I saw Britney, but she told me that she does not work anymore. These days Kayla is about the only US girl that works these days. I was ocnsidering going with one of the twins that stand in front of the Michocan hotel. Kathy had disappeared shortly after I saw her and never came back out again. Around 11 pm I finally decided to with this new SG named Camilia that stands across the Cascada hotel. She was okay, but not great. The CBJ was okay, but I was disappointed that she was not willing to take directions. Camilia had a bit of cold attitude and that was a turn off as well. So will not see her again. Decided to head on home after this.

That part of Constitucion is much more safe these days. The police have cleaned up that part of the Zona. There is also private security office by the Alley that opened a few years back. This has deterred the ratero's as well. It is still always a good idea to be careful. Don't forget that there is siill thugs and scammers outside the Zona. Part of the problem is that the police need to do more community policing and arrest the drug dealers. I am amazed to see the people that buy drugs. Many of users are ordinary people that you would not think are users.

But these days I read more current mugging occurrences on the east sidewalk of Constitution between the alley and Coahuila (where The Rapid Inn, Acapulo & Michocan are located) and Coahuila Ave. Between Revo & Constitution.

The west side of Constitution between between the alley and Primara (you mentioned) always looked old and sketchy, but I don't recall even one reported mugging in that specific area of sidewalk in all the time I've been reading Tijuana hooker boards. There aren't as many walkways leading back to apartments behind the businesses in that area of the sidewalk.

As some guys were arguing what's going on at AB with price fixing I left out the backdoor. I sat down in a one on one with a chica from AB. The highlights of our conversation were that she confirmed that AB is firing chicas for charging mongers less than $60. I think what she was saying is that the prettier chicas were privately saying they weren't going to get fired because of this. Maybe up to that point when the new owners took over it was happening to ugly ones. She was saying how this was a good thing. She didn't think it was fair how the ugly ones were actually making more than the prettier ones. And she was saying how new chicas talk trash that they can get more than $60 which actually makes sense that many chicas are starting off with $80.

For full disclosure I've gone up with this anonymous chica only once but she treats me too good when I see her. And she shows no signs of giving me a deep discount. She told me a chica recently got fired cause she charged $40 or $50. I forget the number. She acknowledges that it's going on and she even knows of a chica that's doing this. But says she has no intention of saying anything cause it's a friend. I actually felt bad that I didn't take this seriously when the chica that gave me a deep discount told me she could get fired. So the scenario could be this. Both of you finish the deed. You come downstairs and the guy in the entrance could ask both of you how much it was for the service. If it doesn't match she could be shown the door. Because the reason they'the ask is cause they have suspicions. My anonymous chica said the guy can go as far as go through their purse.

So I asked what about my man Oscar. And she went on a rant if I was gay cause I'm supposed to care about pussies and tits not dicks. Her exact words were that one day they just don't come to work. So I'm thinking no one's untouchable. I mentioned to her my problems with AB that I've had and I won't get into here. She offered to help me if there's a problem or to talk to the guy in the entrance or even ask to talk to the owner. I don't know if I'm misinterpreting but I took it like she can get me access to the owner. I hardly go to AB these days so that one on one will not be anytime soon. The incredible part is I'm gathering more info on AB than ever before.

I got word that Hong Kong is the one that bought Cuartos Venicia. So they will tear it down. That's quite a ways from Hong Kong so wouldn't they've also bought the tortilla market. I don't remember exactly but one time a chica from either Hong Kong or Las Chavelas took me out the front door and I was embarrassed. She took me by the hand like lovers but inside I was dying. So you can tell I'm not the guy to make the walk from Hong Kong to Cuartos Venicia. Or worst yet Las Chavelas.

Finally my report on a new chica. Her name is Monica from Tabasco out of El Porton. She's a pretty chica, A's or be's, nice body, good ass. Action was CBJ, SOT with no tongue / saliva, mish on the corner of the bed, to no pop. Big strike against her is she stayed with her hand in her pussy just in case the condom slipped or ripped. There was no interference with penetration but I like seeing little GQ going in and out. She said no in using my Crown condoms so I had to wait a little longer to make my debut with them. I was a bit nervous for some reason. She helped me settle down. And after a bit she was more receptive in letting me take her hand away from her pussy but went back again. I told her the session would've been better if she didn't have her hand in her pussy and she said I know. She got into it and was giggling for some reason. I'the say that I pulled the trigger cause an old man took her friend and I wasn't going to let him beat me. I dodged a bullet there but I wouldn't repeat. Damage was 500 for her and 100 for the room.

If I'm ever going to go again during a weekend day I need to better prepare myself. The line took over two hours in El Chaparral. I ended up eating my lunch at passed 4 pm. That was too much. I thought I was going to walk through like I mostly do. Anyhow until the next GQ webgazines.

Twins in front of the Michocan

SMD Jr. Was mugged at 3 AM on Revolution between Coahuila & Primera. Under the mural where all the people have mirrors where their eyes would belong. He talked the muggers (who were about his age) into leaving him $5 for a cab and to let him keep his cellphone with the shattered screen. He had been drinking around Revo & 6th and made it to within a half-block of our room at HDS.

That was like two years ago. When I first started mongering in 2004 the most dangerous spot for mongers was the block of Prinera between Revo & Constitution. The Rateros controlled that block more than the Policia. It was often referred to "Ratero Alley" and the rateros performing choke-holds on mongers and emptying their pockets were feared by the locals. Over the years policia patrol that area better now.

Currently I read about more muggings now on Constitution and Coahuila within the same block that contains the school girl's corner. Lots of hiding places there where the locals will fear and tolerate the rateros.

So the safer areas and the more dangerous areas are always changing.
