    Ahnvee is finally officially dead

So ends another failed attempt to shift urban patterns. I would say that the level of success urban planners have at this sort of thing world wide is maybe 10% - you probably have an example in your hometown. Anyway idiots with geography degrees will keep pitching to real-estate salesmen who get theirselves elected to municipal governement based on the dramatic changes and improvements they have a plan for- now if I could just get my monorail project off the ground.

My pot of gold. Unfortunately, she's stuck in Haiti, caught in the round-up of deportations. I wish we could've met up; she was pure magic. Treated me like a king with a kingdom. She wasn't the only one though. The pal I went with also was deported. I actually lost contact with him. DR cops are cracking down hard, saw it every night. The Haitians are running scared every time one those cop motorbikes rolls through. I saw two get chased down during this last trip. The Haitians around the German bar on Perdro don't stray too far. Each one I took out I had to escort all the way back because they were scared to walk alone.

Nothing wrong with being a fan of Sosua

There is also nothing wrong with being a international traveler with multiple residences throughout the world that allows you to be where you want to be when you want to be there. I've been able to experience different sex tourism locations throughout the world. We each have our own personal preferences. Everyone should go where they are treated best.

I have a very good friend for whom Sosua serves at "his spot". I also have a very good friend for whom Sosua was his spot until he came to visit me in Pattaya. From the North American Continent the travel time is no joke. 25 - 30 hours of total travel time usually over a two day period. The fact that he has rebooked a return trip in the same year and another friend decided to travel with him says something. Sosua was the spot for both of them for a long time.

When I am on that side of the world Sosua will still be a place to visit. I've always said it is a nice place since 2016 when I took my first trip. Does Sosua have the best beaches in the Dominican Republic? No! Does it have the best infrastructure in the Dominican Republic? No! Does it have the best chicas in the Dominican Republic? No!

All anyone has do in order to fully experience all the Dominican Republic has to offer is to work on their language skills. Yes, that is right, I believe that if you are going to be traveling to Spanish speaking countries that speaking Spanish gives you an advantage. I have even had a very productive conversation with a Colombian here in Thailand. Who would have thought something like THAT would happen.

The forum is for the sharing of information on having sex with girls. That is what I do. I also present my opinions. I actually lived 10 years 'boots on the ground" in various places in the Dominican Republic. Still have a chicas, a SRL, and blue paper to this day. I focus on the information not being critical of other people.

Sousa is a nice beach town close to the North American Continent that caters to international tourists. Lots of hos be there. I understand why people like it. I like it.

In my opinion there are places all around the world that are better than Sosua. Not trying to gore anyones ox or tell anyone that they should not visit Sosua. I cannot even say that the girls are better in other places than Sosua.

It is the non ho factors that makes other locations more favorable to me. The mentality of the girls, the infrastructure of the locations, being a true international destination where people from the entire world visit, having a large number of different restaurants that cater to different cuisines.

I remain at peace with myself and all others.

Personally, I enjoy the change that Sosua offers. I can park the Grand Jefe mobile and not get back in it until the end of my trip. But I consider my trips to Sosua to be working trips. I spend 4 - 6 hours on my computer and running errands in town when I am there. Most I have done was a month a time. I had a very easy life there. But it was expensive as fuck!

This is where my advice to learn Spanish comes into play It opens up the Dominican Republic like someone has given you the keys to the Kingdom. Sosua is easy that is all. Easy for the tourist that does not want to put any effort into self improvement and is just focused upon what he can get for his dick.

Interesting. I'm not one to interview a chica before inviting her back to your room. I just use my intuition and I have never had a problem from encounter that resulted from a in person meeting. Much more likely for things to go south based on a internet encounter. But even with those I can only say ONE did not live up to my expectations and she still (ponerme leche afuera).

So, lets contrast this with how it works in a bar in Pattaya. You go into a bar and order a drink. A girl comes over to you and if you invite her to sit with you, you buy her a Lady Drink. It is not obligatory that you buy her a lady drink, nor is obligatory for her to sit with you if you choose not to buy her one. She can take her time with her drink like a normal person or she can drink it quick in order to ask you for another or move onto the next "customer". You can use this time to interview her to see if you wish to hire her as your prostitute for the night. Some venues have well appointed rooms right on-premese, other you must "bar fine" the girl to take her out of the bar in order to enjoy social / sexual services with her.
Nothing. I'm just a fan of Sosua.

Have been for 15 years. Post about it here. Offer advice based on my experiences here. I don't want to "***** slap" anybody who doesn't agree with me! To each his own!

You don't sound "at peace" with anybody!

    LOL.

Although I do not favor this system, it does eliminate the complete loss of time that was described by our ruling expert on Sosua. Actually his writings gave me an insight into and contrasted with how things are done in Pattaya. I find it very interesting.

For me Pattaya is far superior to Sosua. Because the infrastructure is better. There is a much greater selection of restaurants, hotels and daylife / nightlife ventures. It is an international destination.

Sosua serves its purpose I can understand why people go there. I understand what people like about the place (I like it too). But if there is truly room for diversity of opinions, Mr. E turned out to be right in his comparisons of Sosua with Pattaya. Mr. E and I don't agree on anything. LOL!

Personally I differ in your opinion about this. If all anyone wants to do is hire prostitutes there is no need to learn Spanish. But if they wish to improve themselves, increase the plasticity of their brain and give themselves more options in the Dominican Republic and across LATAM, the rewards they receive will be more than 10 times the effort they put into learning Spanish.

Thank you! I have been granted your permission to continue posting. Seriously King Oakiedoke? Hypocrisy runs deep in your kingdom. Especially when you start out your post with an insult. LOL!

As for tolerance you seem to be lacking it most when it comes to opinions about Sosua. But over the years I leaned that you are deeply invested in the place. That is why your responses to me contain nothing but ad hominem attacks as opposed to simply taking issues with my opinions you don't like.

I have learned that with you it is not personal. How can you have problem with a "anonymous" poster. No, with you it is simply a knee jerk reaction to attack those who disagree with you or present a different view of Sosua.

Only a person completely wrapped up in themselves would think that I need to "prove my manhood" to a bunch of anonymous internet posters on an obscure web site. The question that remains in my mind is why one of those same posters is obsessed with me and mounting a defense of his kingdom every time I speak a word he does not agree with.

I am at peace with myself and all others

    Sosua, Dominican Republic, right?

Everybody is different, and a newbie can luck out or have a bad time on any single day, but veteran posters here have such different experiences and attitudes towards the locals and chicas, that it is obvious that they see everyday Sosua through a different pair of glasses. It's like the 3 blind men describing an elephant.

Sosua is what it is. It is not for everybody.

Remember, it is what YOU bring to Sosua, that primarily determines the quality of your experience.

The good, the bad, and the sexy

The Good: I finished up another trip to the SU. Like all previous times I left satisfied with a smile on my face. I ran through a lot more girls this time around than I usually do. Normally, I hit a handful and then find some dynamite that I wife up with. It actually got comical. On the last couple days I was on the strip trying to find a chica I hadn't screwed yet. I'm partial to Haitianas, but I had more than my share of Dominicanas. As stated in a previous post, I paid 2000 pesos a pop with incentive for a nice propina for good service. All were accepting and both parties were happy. I had some wild ones, the type of girls that really get into it, eye contact, kissing, the whole nine yards. I still haven't heard those hard-on killer words "Leche papi", so I must still have some charm, along with other attributes. Thankful for that. Boredom was never a problem. Away from the action I spent time with old friends, locals I had met on previous trips, or swimming at the beach. There's always people to talk with. I made some more friends and added to my contacts list. A word of advice I'd give newbies is to talk with people, especially if you're a solo traveler. Yes, talk with other travelers, but also locals. There are those just looking for a handout, but there are also a lot of good folks, trust me. I met several families at the beach, was even invited to people's homes, even given meals. One family came up on a Sunday from Santo Domingo and invited me back. I even met a non-pro from Santiago that turned out to be a blast. If you come to the SU and stay an introvert, you'll miss out on a lot. There's no reason to be bored.

The Bad: Hey, you're on a tropical island full of gorgeous girls. What could go wrong? The longer you stay, sooner or later it'll hit you. It could be the ice in your drink, the water you used to brush your teeth, or the waiter that didn't wash his hands and served you. Whatever it might be that gurgle in your stomach will rear its ugly head. Another tip for newbies: bring Imodium. That might become your best friend. There's nothing like sitting on the can, pissing out of your ass, and house keeping knocks on your door and then walks in after you yelled "Estoy bien!" in-between grunts, cramps, and looking for something to hang onto to brace yourself for Armageddon. Ah, memories. I might've pushed a little too hard this trip as well, and caught a run-down head cold. Not bad, but enough to be annoying. Still, I pushed on loaded up with Tylenol, Imodium, and Sildenafil. Let me tell you, going out to get a chica in that condition can be a real gamble. Luckily it paid off. I had awful visions walking back to the hotel with a cutie if I got hit with the telltale cramps. "Hold on, baby. I have to go shit my brains out. Just stay in that position. " Thankfully, that never happened. Like I said, Imodium is your pal. The only other downside was tweeking my lower back fucking with a nineteen-year-old wildcat. It was one of those times you're having a blast, and then you think, "You've got to be fucking kicking me. " I told her what happened, and she finished me off in cowgirl like a champ. More Tylenol after that. All part of the experience.

The Sexy: I call Hispaniola the land of narrow waists and big asses. Yes, there are some whales, but plenty of heart-shaped ass walking around. I had a lot of that. I won't give a rating on a scale from 1-10 because beauty is 100% subjective. I was happy with all my girls and that's what matters. Out of the many, only two girls were somewhat lifeless in bed. The rest all knew how to move and matched me stroke for stroke. Sweating, grinding, bouncing, and breathing heavy. They all put in the work. I have no complaints with these beauties.

For those who hate on the SU you must be jaded, or the type of person who sees the glass half empty. You should be having a good time every day over here. To you newbies who were unfortunately born in the emotionless digital age, remember one thing when you step out of your shell in Sosua: it's all about perspective, attitude, and simplicity. Stop overthinking, stop trying to analyze, get off the dating apps, put down your damn electronic devices and just get out there. Be human, interact, keep it real, and enjoy yourself. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Depending on your level of speaking Spanish. Check out Santo Domingo, you have more bars, casino's, eating places and malls. Traffic is absolutely horrible. More women to choose from but they are not all in the same place as Bailey's for breakfast and Rumbas / kings at night. The bus ride to Sosua from Santo Domingo is 4 plus hours. Enjoy.

Great Insight. Don't let boredom be the leading cause of drama

It's all here!

Some of these are drama queens, so you take a chance if you bring a complete stranger into your room.

Then there are the semi pros, (they usually have jobs) who you don't find on the street, and are actually choosy when it comes picking clients. They inhabit the bars, restaurants, shops, and often are working there. They have already passed muster on hygiene, grooming, and are trusted to handle cash and show up on time.

As for none pros, you won't find any / many in Sosua, but if you do they will be likely be looking for a relationship that can be a time consuming commitment. The only non pro's who might be interested in fucking a weekend warrior are the resident aging ex-pat white cougars.

Whatever your preference you have to adapt your approach accordingly, and likewise the price.

It seems like 3 k is an acceptable going rate for full service street meat, but if you pile on a drink, a meal, transportation, a gift, a propina you're already out 4 k or more.

I still see old putas around town that I enjoyed years ago, when they were fresh and new, and so was I, LOL. So there are a couple of putas, that come in to my favorite hangout to say hola, and I'll buy them a drink while we chat about the old days, and the people and places we knew. One in particular always brings me fresh sweet mangos. She has kept her looks, and when business is slow in the low season, she's happy to do my shopping when my regular is not around. Milk, bread, toothpaste, cigarettes, batteries, anything I need, while I enjoy my cold beer, with the boys.

She's the one I mentioned in an earlier post about the guy who comes down from my home town and got into trouble with her. He was holding hands with her all night, and thought she was in love with him. Ah, Ego!

But as I say, she cleans up real nice, so I surprised her and said let's go! Took her up to the Dulce Secreta 5 minutes away and she was enthusiastic. No negotiation, no hassle. I just gave her 3 k for her trouble and made her day. First street chica I've had in 7 years.

A couple of things to avoid most hassle. At least vet her a little over conversation, or a drink, and explain what you want. Make sure she understands. Or get a reference from a chica you know.

References from other mongers and wingmen can be problematic sometimes. One size doesn't fit all!

I should tell you that another myth floated around is that ex-pats have it all figured out.

One of the most surprising things I learned about Sosua was that ex-pats are not immune from the perils of Sosua.

It's a small town, especially in the summer off season. I've come to know a lot of the ex-pat restaurant owners, and many of them have married locally, some have kids, and it's not unusual to hear the classic story that their local wives have upped and taken the kids to Santo Domingo to live with their family and new boyfriends. I know at least 4 restaurant owners and managers, that have gone that route.

And regular expats are constantly experiencing drama with their local ladies. But you can't give a vet any advice, when he smiles at you, points to his dick, and tells you he's fucked up again! Pussy is a very powerful thing.

So you mongers out there are not alone, there are a lot of guys who prefer their chicas and food spicy, and find soup and salad doesn't kick in that adrenaline rush from the drama they seem to enjoy! Some guys thrive on it!

    As always, IMHO and YMMV.
Time moves differently down there as the number one cause of why folks that stay into drama when you live down there or frequent there alot is BOREDOM. Its why I figure you see some expats deal with the drama queens when they know better but hey it keeps there mind occupied. Me I prefer peace. Theres plenty of ways to deal with boredom down there but you get with the wrong female that causes you drama and it can devastate your life.

You touched on a couple types of females that most don't talk about on here as the weekend warriors totally dismiss them. The olds school hoes that still do her thing more discreetly at the expat bars and those white cougars. Theres an abudance of cougars with money particularly if you go to Cabarete and the old school honeys (35&UP) will still take care of you proper. Remember after I left your bar walking back to crib an older female at another bar came to me and wanted to go back to the room with me. So I stop and had a quick drink at this other expat bar to gauge her. 44 yr old morena that was just looking for some extra work. Loves to clean as she works as a maid but work was slow. Gave good vibes so asked her how much. She says its up to me. So I told her I only have 2000 pesos. She says cool. 2 hrs later after she swallowed my secret blend of herbs and spices and a round of pound town, she's up in my room cleaning my kitchen butt naked. God I love that beach town.

It's not too far from the center of action, which I would define as MAG bar at Pedro Clisante & Dr Rosen, most WGs were willing to walk to the hotel without complaint. Honestly my only complaint about the hotel was that the tap water was kinda gross. I guess it was salt walter, obviously not drinkable but also kind of gross to shower in. I think that might just be par for the course in the DR though and not anything to do with the hotel in particular. None of the women mentioned that murder that happened there a couple years ago, so I guess whatever stigma there was has worn off.

MAG bar had the most women just hanging out, and the price of booze was actually cheap there if you want to be in the center of things. If you prefer to scope out from a distance, the Rumba sports bar across the street from MAG is a great place to go grab a presidente and sit at the bar facing MAG. Otherwise there were WGs walking up and down Pedro Clisante between Duarte and Dr Rosen. I paid about 3000-4000 DOP for an hour back at my hotel, most were willing to do an uncovered BJ (but ask first, not all were). I met women from the DR and women from Haiti. I also met some WGs walking along Sosua Beach.

Other expats were friendly, a lot of Americans, I talked to more than one who had recently bought real estate there because they liked it so much. I found the shopkeepers a little too pushy for my liking. I liked the scene in Sosua, but I feel like other factors would prevent me from returning for more than a week or so.

P.S.: Does anybody know what the deal is with the waitresses at Blue Ice? I never figured out if they were available for takeout or not.
You can assume that most barristas in town are selling more than beer. But you can't just assume they will sell it to you or me.

I refer to them as semi-pros.

They get a lot of attention from the tourists obviously, and even more so from the ex-pats, when a new one shows up. They can afford to be choosy, in fact many of them are being fucked by their bosses (that's how they got the job), and many have regular"boy friends" at home and abroad. There's always a "window" with all chicas, when they've either lost their job, broken up with their boyfriend, but employers don't want obvious putas in charge of their business, so you need game, money, and time, or celebrity.

My post above (which I thought had already been posted) didn't get through for whatever reason, and it gives my overview of the the Sosua situation. You might find it useful.

Just remember, it's only one man's opinion.

In my world, you do not pick a fight (verbally or physically) and not expect to get hit back). I don't care how popular someone is IRL, when they start it, when they stick their nose into man business, when they troll across multiple country threads, they are either suffering from a psychotic break, bi-polar or both.

Talk to your court jester. Ask him if he can speak for himself after beating on his chest while speaking strongly. He started it. He made three posts in the rants thread of two countries. I simply responded. Which, I might add is the purpose of the threads so that reports that sharing information on having sex with girls can be enjoyed in the appropriate threads.

Someone said free shots are not allowed. Well that is universal. Any complaints about my work can be brought to the attention of the Administrator who will not hesitate to hit me with a infraction if I have violated the standards of conduct for the site.

I shall now clean my ginsu and put it away (no profanity) until it is needed again. You would think that living the simply outstanding life that you lead would not allow you the time to step in the middle of the business of two men. But maybe not. Your years of of being productive are over after all. LOL!
    Relax Sudsy!

We know you are a "man". Because you have been telling us for years.

I never met a real man, in the commonly understood sense of the word, who has the need to to go to such great lengths to try to prove that simple point. LOL.

Self promoters on steroids, narcissistic at best, but reeking of insecurity and rejection.

There are always a few in Sosua, and smart folks avoid them like the plague, which makes them even more resentful. They are perpetual outsiders looking in, and complaining about everybody who seem to be just enjoying the life, and living and let living.

Real men, are not like putas, who get paid to sit there and smile at all their deeds of derring do, and who probably are thinking how long is this guy going on before he shows me the money! LOL.

I have never complained to a moderator, or put anybody on ignore, in almost 40 years of blogging. I believe we can learn most if we tolerate ALL opinions on a public forum.

I encourage you to keep posting, because I'm interested in where this all is going. If you can manage it without personal insults, so much the better!

    Peace!

It's not too far from the center of action, which I would define as MAG bar at Pedro Clisante & Dr Rosen, most WGs were willing to walk to the hotel without complaint. Honestly my only complaint about the hotel was that the tap water was kinda gross.
Did they give you the price that was written on the blackboard outside the entrance? It was $55 a night on the sign, yet they charged me $60 in February when I was there. When I showed them a photo of the sign, and protested, they said the price went up! Total be. S.

I thought the mattress was expensive and great to sleep on. Ceiling fan keep making noise. No ocean view, but cheap. No one else remembers the murder. Glad you had a good visit.

Back four years ago we would pay 1000 pesos to the DJ and they could leave, otherwise they had to stay until 2-3 am which is a no go for me, I'm not a late night person anymore. Every girl had her own price but 5000 was generally accepted but again this was 4-5 years ago, I'm looking for some current info and I'm sure the price has risen significantly but that's okay. There are a few hotties in there that I want to take for a test drive. I'll do my own homework in person sometime this week but just wondering if any of you guys have pulled from there recently. Thanks in advance.
Where I stay in Sosua gives me the occasion to stroll past the place on a daily basis. Never set foot in the place and I never will. They do no cater to a crowd that would be accepting of me. Now, the chicas in the place are bad as fuck. But in my opinion, for my personal style and budget 5000 DOP to fuck, even it it was, 4 or 5 years ago, is some bullshit! If a chica not going to take 2000 DOP, then I won't be hiring her as my prostitute.
