So, how are places like Foxy's working in the age of Covid with the curfew? Have they changed their hours, are they open earlier in the day? Or do you think that I would have more luck at a place like the Oasis Bar & Lounge? (head upstairs from what I read.).

I'm always in town such a short time always less than 24 hours and at weird hours (and, if I must be honest, quite lazy) I'd rather just find a reliable P2 P place and go from there. I like the same type that 'D-Cups' likes. The bigger the better.

Any recommendations?

I used to go to a great full service massage place in the Malecon 'mall', but it was shut down a couple of years ago. I haven't been in town for over a year and a half and I know that things are always changing. Since my go-to is gone I'm looking for a new go-to.

I don't know what PR stands for (Puerto Rico?) but, DR better than Brazil, Thailand and Colombia!? I doubt it. Maybe that was the recommendation of someone who's only been in DR. I mean, for the last few years I've been traveling to DR only but that's because I have a normal relationship there, but if it wouldn't because of that, I'd be traveling to Colombia mostly.

I quite like meeting girls on the street. Besides the Conde, which really is as much an open air brothel as much as it is a public street, wherever you encounter an attractive woman you can make a play. Much more often than not, I know within the first couple of minutes of conversation how likely I am to get what I want. It's not one of the better methods for short term visitors because it can be inefficient. You could eat up a day or two chatting up girls if you aren't careful. If you have the time to spare it can be fun. As for the conversation tactics, I keep it direct after an initial smile and greeting ("buenas" or "buenos dias") and invite them to a hotel or cabana.

I use Seeking.com with success but I start before my visit. Whittle down the list and FaceTime to make my final selections. I tried Dominican Cupid but never met anyone.

An apartment or an apatahotel would be fine there are several in the area.

Actually, recent information is kind of lacking. I, too, will be there for a couple of non-consecutive nights next month and would love to get some current gouge on places let's say near the Obelisk on George Washington Ave. I'm also going to be in Santiago a bunch too.

Since you've been to Brazil, Colombia, and Thailand, the only thing I'd suggest is to lower your expectations. The DR can be a lot of fun, but its most important virtue to me (in terms of hobbying) is a 3-hour flight from NY. And I'm saying it as someone who does love the DR, LOL.
