I was in Dubai for the first time for a total of 5 nights- 12/14-17 and 12/20. Although the information I try to provide may be mundane for the Dubai vets, my trip reports are geared towards first time visitors by offering info that may be helpful.

As I was reading this forum in preparation for my first trip, I was astounded at the prices being reported of 1000-2000 AED (270-550+ USD / Euros). I thought that if guys were willing to pay this price, the quality of the women must be top notch. What I found is that there are very attractive girls, but IMHO not worth that kind of money. When I travel, I see what the "market" is by evaluating supply and demand that drives prices. It doesn't always work, but does so more often than not. I believe someone else wrote a post on this board of being able to get some girls in the 300-500 AED range by setting a budget and sticking to it. That is what I did and it worked well for me and with quality of girls that my preferences.


Conclusion:

Prior to experiencing Dubai, I really thought of it being an addictive type of place for me with the availability of a variety of ethnicities of my type, and a higher level of quality of the girls. There were a large number of attractive girls available. However, factoring in the prices, expenses and time required for me to travel to Dubai from US, it has lost some of its appeal. Don't get me wrong. I had a great time and was able to check some off my "list", but it really wasn't all that "wow" for me. I'm glad that I didn't travel to Dubai just for mongering, but rather had the opportunity to experience Dubai as part of business travel. Would I go back? Yes, but only if future business travel allows for a short visit to Dubai and probably only to select clubs.

In the meantime, there is much more of the world to explore.

Yes, I think it is about time we had a separate thread. SA is not for folks traveling thru Dubai, it works best if you live in the city or are at least a regular visitor. There is some initial time investment required before the pedal hits the metal.

So I joined SA some 6 months back, and it involves a lot of hard work in the beginning but you slowly get used to how it works, in terms how to sift through the serious ones, over the blatant hookers.
