Posts: 1377I use the aircon only for massagistas while they are doing the massage, in rest I'm a pervert, I like a young girl's body covered in sweat from riding me like crazy (they called it driving).

Posts: 3748Very true. I do it for myself. There has been post that girls want to stay long time because the hotel rooms are nicer with nice beds than where they live and especially the rooms have air con.

I have found this to be BS. Most girls can't adjust to a soft bed as opposed to sleeping on the floor. Girls hate and freeze with air con especially when it is set 18-23 C by the foreigners. The lowest temp they like is 27 C. That is the main reason they flee. They are freezing.

Posts: 731The last time I stayed in the area was ibis styles, and I thought it was a good location, but the girls had a hard time finding it. This time I chose red planet because all the girls can find it, and it is a short walk to the bus terminal and the lrt. That made it easy to bring the girls in from Caloocan, ,QC, Antipolo, pasig, and pretty much everywhere.

Posts: 1377If you do it for yourself, very good. Just don't do it to impress the girls, because contrary to the popular belief, they don't care at all, a good tip will do a lot more good.

Posts: 3748Since losing mongering time from Covid and getting older I have decided to YOLO it. I have upgraded hotels and number of visits. Tipped a little better and enjoying the upgraded lifestyle. I no longer stay at Red Planets or budget hotels. Even fly premium economy now. To all the best.

Posts: 4875I've stayed at quite a few Red Doorz. Their main selling point is that they have audited standards that the hotels and their rooms must meet to retain certification. If they do, then they can be promoted as part of the group. The hotel gets marketing and a selling point and the customer gets a known standard.

The rooms are very basic: maybe 15 sqm /150 sqf, small beds but working AC, hot water shower, kettle, tv and wifi. No bar fridge. Locations are generally pretty good.
They are good if you are just using the room as a place to sleep but don't need any frills. I've never had any issues having visitors. I've only had one disaster: Butuan room quality sucked big time.
Last trip, I did notice that a couple of hotels had left the franchise. They were still well run and clean so I don't know if it was the hotels' choice or if they had been shown the door by Red Doorz.

Posts: 3748I completely agree. I have been to many Red Planets and the quality and cleanliness are maintained. The rooms are small but adequate. Surprising the showers are large and can fit 2 girls with you inside. Plenty of hot water and pressure. A little adjustment to get used to the "rain" shower head. Some require ID checks with the incoming girls and will keep the ID on hand during their stay.

Posts: 731Not manila but still hotels
So far I am impressed with the Red Planet Hotel.
I've seen Red hotel and red doors and am not impressed nor will I stay there, but red planet seems to be very clean.
So far it is well worth the price and it may be a future option.
Of course I booked with very low expectations, so I may have just expected much worse.

Posts: 176Diamond Hotel is also a great option (little dated but not bad) and does include decent breakfast and is in $80's and is probably 5 minutes walk from Robinsons and is just 3-4 minutes walk from LA cafe.

Being really friendly with those guys has always been my biggest advantage.
A side note: She was extremely well dressed, very pretty, and although she was a 'mall find' initially, she was very classy. The guys on the door usually know the girls coming in and whether or not they're skanky FL street walkers or not.
I'm sure they let the occassional, drunk unsuspecting foriegners to bring a LB in now and then, just to have a laugh at their expense. Well, I know it's a fact after chatting to the guys in Makati when I've gone down for a 2 am drink outside the hotel to observe the seediness.

I'm staying in 101 Newport right now with my GF, and we knew the girl that we were going to bring first in, from our previous visit, got her ID registered with the security in advance, but next day when she came in, I waited for her downstairs, and nobody asked her nothing, we just walked straight in, next day was a different guard, but the same shit.
This is not in Ermita, is next to the airport, walkable, but is good to know about it.

Posts: 43I stayed at the Manila Bay Sheraton. It was alright, a bit dated. They upgraded me to a larger room at check-in. Higher rates than other hotels in the area, but still reasonable. It's close to Robinson's. No problems bringing in guests. I didn't tip security or anything. I suppose I could have, I just didn't.

I have a friend who stays at these places a lot when in MNL. He either uses, White Lotus (Faura and mabini) or Eurotel. White lotus when he's with his GF. Eurotel, when he's on the hunt. It's right across Robinson's Manila. I've used Eurotel when I was in Clark. It's like motel 6 with better service.
