Quite safe to park near Living Room. During the day there is some traffic cause it's located in an area with a lot of companies. At night when those "businesscars" left there is a parking guard from LR outside which kind of keeps an eye on what goes on in the street. No need for extensive worries. #.

In the street itself is Isa-hotel, 3 minute walk. Mercure Hotel is 2 Km away or so, taxi will cost you around 10 Euro probably (which is not a big amount considering the fact that you'll spend much more in the club itself and / or the hotel itself. Why walk 30 minutes and take a risk? Mercure Hotel has a very decent price schedule (outside of the Messe-season for sure).

I found a place about a 30-minute walk away, so I might not even need to drive. It's near Kaarsterstrasse though near Restaurant Neu Shanghai and on the other side of the autobahn 57 thoroughfare. Does anyone know if it's ok to walk, even late at night?

I visited LR for the first time last spring. I walked to and from the Hotel Mercure. My return was after midnight. It was very quiet. Hardly any people around. A random person asked me about the train schedules as I crossed the tracks, and he was legit.

It's not quite the same direction as you are planning, but do I feel safe there, all things considered? Yes.

Germany is one of the safest place in the world.

Once I walked at 4 am to Neuss from LR without any problem.

But for your info, hotel Isa is just 400 meters near LR and Mercure only 10 minutes with swimming pool and very good spa.

I recall driving around the area as it was difficult to find parking during the day, there were cars parked everywhere.

Really not difficult to park around LR, furthermore on day when LR is most often empty. Safe place.

The club has about 5 own parking places in front, but there is a lot of space on the street. You will not have any problem to park. And it is safe.

There are about 4 parking spots in front of the club. You can park on the street, the club has security outside, and my car was never bothered. The same management has the ISA hotel about 200 m away. There is quite a good size parking lot there. If you don't want to be affiliated with the club, park at the train station and walk over. You already know the route.

Very small parking but no problem to park around. Only 1 guy looking, interested, in my car, to try to get information about me. Except this, neighborhood is safe.

Is this a big deal. It takes a couple seconds to apply them and they remove easily. I appreciate that the club's still allow the phones inside the main part of the club, rather than sitting in the locker room to check in with the family back home.

No garden with naked girls at LR, like at GT, to put videos about on Asian blogs. Thanks to some Asians. On last Summer, I saw some guys kicked off Oase garden and club by security, no problem for me, I prefer to play football as say girls.
