Your girl probably makes more money than all of them. Maybe even more than the manager with a lot less hours and less stress.

The guys working there could be angry that they do not have a chance with her moneywise and she is not with a local.

The girls working there may be jealous of her bling (clothes, phone, jewelry).

Now this is a very far reach but maybe just maybe they are all jealous because you are such a hot commodity. Yes, all the gay guys too.

FYI. Trust and respect are earned never given. People think that common courtesy and respect are the same thing. Nope!

Do the Haven rooms have balconies?

Not all. Many rooms do.

I stayed at Haven recently. Yes one visitor is free of charge per day, per bedroom (they have multi bedroom suites). They charge for the second visitor but for me personally that is not a big deal. As I do find HAVEN to be a good value. Single room is half to a third the cost of Marriott, Charlie or Click clack and visitor charge is pretty high in these other hotels. I believe it is the only hotel in the city with 2, 3 and 4 bedroom suites at great value. If there are other hotels with multi bedroom suites and living rooms please let me know as I typically travel with friends and don't want to deal with Airbnb in residential towers.

They said it is also pressure from local hotel association on more popular hotels and larger hotels to have some charge so as not to look like implicit promotion of sex tourism. Blah blah. Whatever. But I do see more locals on the Haven roof top and besides my girls love to swim in their roof top pool for cool IG photos.

Anyone stay there lately? Did haven change their guest policies? Sounds like you can only have one guest per day, after that a few is charged?

I am pretty sure they charge for guests. At least they did to me pre pandemic. I have elite status there and I upgraded but it don't find it worth it for price and location.

I was there last year and booked for 2. Never had any issues with guests coming over, although I tipped generously. Had a great experience there overall and was never charged even once.

My friend emailed Blux apartment and Ayamonte / Provenza Life apartment and it looks like they have a guest policy of max 4 guest a week. That's is for the 2 bedroom apartment. We are looking for a guest friendlier 2 bedroom apartment.

We looked at some property at Energy Living which looks dope, but most are 1 bedroom apartment and they tried to make a second bedroom somewhere in the apartment. So you have a big room and a small room with movable walls that act as a door. We are looking for a 2 bedroom same size and preferable with 2 bath. The only option we have seen is at the penthouse but its a 3 bedroom and it is hella expensive.

In one of my recent trips, my wingman got a great deal at the Marriott in Poblado, at $80/ night. He was able to bring in chicks to his room, and he was not charged extra.

I just came back a couple of weeks ago so this info is current. At check-in, and at the bottom lost in what you sign as part of check-in, is a clause that says you agree that if you bring an unregistered guest to your room, there is a penalty of $200. I asked the GM about this later and he explained that they just are not girl friendly and this is meant to discourage any guest from bringing a chica to their room.

I have stayed there many times. Never had a problem when making a booking for 2 and telling them 'she's arriving later". Had several different girls in same stay. Never tried 3-somes there though.

I do appreciate that you didn't just punch back. I respect the value of other members' time (and yours specifically) and never post a question until I have read at least a year's worth of posts, but on the Medellin thread, that would be literally 550 pages. Perhaps I came across as entitled or ungrateful, let's be honest: No one will ever read 550 pages of posts just to find the lay of the land in new mongering grounds. I read 100 and gave up. I'll probably just end up relying on intel from the guys I meet at the Mansion.

Maybe the senior members on the Medellin thread could nominate more posts to "Reports of Distinction". That would prevent sincere newbies like me from asking dumb questions about Medellin. ISG is a priceless resource and I am hugely grateful it exists. But unlike any thread I've read on ISG. Reading the Medellin thread is like a looking for a needle in 550 haystacks.

You are both right actually LOL. One one hand this board is a guide, but it's just a title and no one is obligated to hold any new monger's hand so to speak. And on the other hand, if one person asks you to read or not sharing anything specific, just keep reading till you get your answer cause I can promise you it's here, or wait for another to reply. It's really that simple. This is by far one of the top monger boards or for our hobby. But unfortunately it's not going to be organized like a library with exact search strings. On my first trip to mde I found like 60% of info I needed, and the rest in 3 different travel sites.

So patience patience. Everything is here as new updated info is posted daily.
