Thats actually a pretty good idea. So if I understand correctly, I could just get one of those GSM unlocked mobile hotspots / modems, and then get a telcel sim and plan. Is that how it works?

I've gotten an Airbnb's in Tijuana. But I've never gotten one of the nice ones, in the towers, because of fear that the security guard would stop walking in with a girl.

So I always get Airbnb's that are more like small homes in small apartment complexes, with no front desk security. The downside is that they are always pieces of crap. Like run down ugly places.

Am I wrong in thinking it's not a good idea to get one in the towers. ?
