Posts: 65We are staying at the Yorkshire hotel now. It is guest friendly. We got an apartment room as it is a bit larger. Room is ok over all. Friendly staff and a decent pool. Right in the heart of everything as well.

Hi,
Visiting Phuket next week for 3 days.
I have booked Patong resort as it's near Bangla street. Can I bring in guest during the stay there. I still have couple of days to change the booking, so any help on this point be great.
If it is not guest friendly, any other good hotel I can book near the walking street & it also serves some Indian items in breakfast. Budget is around 2500 THB per night.
Thanks a lot.

Posts: 753I strongly recommend good quality compression socks. DVTs and pulmonary embolisms are no fun, I speak from experience.

So after deciding to book the Kudo Beach Resort we last minute changed it to the Yorkshire. When we went to book kudo the price went way up per night and we decided against it. We now have paid for flights and the Yorkshire. 28 hours to get to Phuket on plane! We have never flown this many hours but excited to go. We will leave a trip report. Let the party begin.

Thanks to everyone who answered this post! We have booked our stay at the Kudo Beach Resort. Our plan is to try and hopefully find ladies at Bangla Road or at the pool area here to bring back to our room. Sometimes we have found this to be easy as a a couple mongering, sometimes not. I may also look for a full service massage shop for just me. My wife said if that's possible she will get a regular massage at the same time. Any advice guys please share. We leave April 22nd and can't wait to get there!

Much appreciated, Blue! I'll be there towards the end of November and early December. If you're around then, we should get a beer. This will be my visit to SEA. Looking forward to it for sure!

I stayed there November last year and will be again later this year. And I agree top location and nice unit and great view.

Enjoy your stay and check out Molley's Tavern. Great band.
Cheers.

Planning a trip out and booked a very nice air be & be in Patong Tower. I know the building has around the clock security, I haven't been able to find much about bringing girls in, in my case probably more than once a day. Anyone stayed here or know if they care? Typically I stir towards buildings that don't have 24 hour goons but this location was great and the unit itself is pretty damn nice. TIA and happy hunting, fellas.

Posts: 1363La Flora Resort Patong Beach
There are very few hotels in Patong that are actually on the beach.

La Flora is about US $200 per night, and is luxury with swim up pool access to the lower level rooms.
Kudo tho may be more your style at around the same price and even closer to Bangla Road.
It ahs the added bonus that it is a beach club during the day, and many of the top shelf freelancers / InstaHo's and OF creators choose to hang out there during the day.
So your wife may well be able to go "shopping" without having to go out, doing it whilst she is happily lounging by the pool.

Posts: 65Thanks so much for the recommendations. We are looking at this now. Going to be a fun trip! Hopefully not hard to find a lady that does couples. My wife is the pro at getting them in Spanish countries. This will be all new but ready to roll.

I just went to goggle maps, zoomed in on Patong Towers and clicked it. You'll get 22nd to 28th no problem. Sea view, 900 AUD or thereabouts.

Or Rayaburi Hotel in Sawatdirak Road. Girl friendly but a thousand baht cover charge.
These are all places I've stayed, they are all good but I liked the Towers best.
Goodluck.

Posts: 6685You are much better off contacting the facility and asking a direct question about their guest policy.
