    Continued.

Taxi and room rental the cost moves to $100 us. Too much for me plus the hassles.

    Recommend for lap dances.

    Okay.

Arrived on Monday without my luggage. Luggage arrived on Tuesday. Avianca explained it was not their fault. My luggage was stuck in Costa Rica security. Strange since I was allowed to board the plane.

On Tuesday night, attempted to get a taxi to chica bars. No one was around. Befriended by an expat. Walked to Foxis. Dark. One good looking El Salvadoran. Young looking Penelope Cruz. Lame joint.

Taxied to Dream Like City. Nice place with a pole. Sexy black chica with solid muscular ass with beautiful dreads. $5 lap dances. Good grinding and tit play.

Got the chica down to $50 US. After bar.

    Belize City Action -Update.

A few updates to my previous report after some bar hopping last Friday night.

Uptown Bar. Another bar staffed mainly by Honduran chicas. There were about 15 of them the night I stopped by. Their attire leaves little doubt as to what they are there for. Most were wearing either see-through or rather skimpy outfits. Mostly 5-6's but a few 7-8's.

Club Eruption. This place is located in Ladyville, about 10 km outside the city past the airport. It is billed as a night club but would be better described as a strip club. Entry fee is BZ $10 also gets you a drink. The place was really hopping the night I was there. DJ spinning a combo of reggae, hip hop and Latin music. There were about 20 chicas, most dressed in go go attire. Dancers were topless but not completely nude. A couple of screened off areas are available for private lap dances and perhaps more. There did not appear to be any room on site for ST action but there are several hotels close by that I imagine rent by the hour.

One caveat about all of these places. I would NOT recommend going alone. A trusted local wingman is highly recommended.

The bar was Cachaca. If I remember correctly the bar fine was $70 or $80 US. Not sure about the BFs at City Like but there was a lot more variety there.

Only half of the bar was open as the side with the dance floor was booked for a private party. The bevie of chicks was a bit better; again all from Central America. Mostly 5-6 range but there was one nice looking blonde with less of the chubby CA build. I would have taken one of the chicas back to my hotel but I didn't want to pay the bar fine so got her phone number instead for future reference. Final stop was City Like. This place is more like a club with a dance floor and DJ. I didn't want to pay the cover charge so I stayed in the bar area and had a drink. I counted at least 20 chicas, including a few 7's and 8's. So bottom line is that it seems there is action available in town but pretty much all from Central American chicas.

I'll be in Belize City in a few days and am doing my research. In February 2014 the owner was fined $10,000 for having unlicensed employees. And they have been raided at least twice. They didn't seem to bother the owner though. The government seems so corrupt. People are given a choice of pay $1,000, or get 6 months in prison. I don't see news that Temptations is closed, but they surely are on a watch list. Or they might be closed by now.

I don't see much of interest in Belize City, so I think I will just stay 1 night, then see some of the Islands for a couple days and make my way to Cancun.

    Not so bad

When I read the posts about Belize city, I've told myself "bad luck". Well, its not so bad. In the city center, there are few bars, where you can meet some women you can buy. They don't speak too much English and they aren't any beauties, but well. I guess, price will be according to it. They are used to to locals, not foreigners.

Well, lets make the story short. I've arrived to Belize, accommodated in a cheap hostel and because of info about Belize city, I didn't expect any mongering. But, well, I just went around the city. When I went through a street, I saw suspicious bar. Doors you cannot see through. Just typical bar, where you would expect some action. I went there in the evening and I wasn't wrong. There were some women, Latinos, who were there just for entertaining guys. I've start to talk with one of them, we went through other bars (what I've got, they have home bar, but if its empty, they are allowed to move to another), in the area on the map there were about five bars, so its not so hard to find them. Two of them I've marked on the map. I hope, right. Its few months I've been there. You can just walk during the day through the city a check these bars. I think, you have 50:50 chance you will be right. And the night? I have heard a lot about dangerous Belize city. Bulshit. Just be careful and don't go south. To continue. We had many beers, moved around and when I wanted to take her somewhere, she told me "not tonight, tomorrow". Well, I was flying next day, so, I went home with full.

There is some sort of lady drinks, not expensive. As I said, these bars are for locals.

Well if that isn't depressing to read, I don't know what is!

i'm headed back to belize next week for an afternoon of diving while cruising the region, and was hoping for a way of ending the day with an even bigger smile, but after reading ddd's recent account of things in belize these days, i'd probably be better off hoping for a fin-job from flipper!

should there be anything worth reporting, i'll make sure to bring you all upto snuff.

See Mcafee's story published on that link. It looks like something that could have been written on a mongering forum. And his alias his "stuffMONGER". Any idea where is this "private board" he is posting at?

    Danger! McAfee Armed and Dangerous!

    http://mashable.com/2012/11/12/mcafee-murder/

John McAfee, the founder and namesake of the McAfee antivirus software company, is wanted for murder in Belize, Gizmodo reported Monday.

According to Gizmodo, the antivirus pioneer is a prime suspect in the murder of an American expatriate named Gregory Faull who was shot in his home on Saturday night. Faull, described in the report as a well-liked builder, had previously filed a formal complaint against McAfee for firing off guns and exhibiting 'roguish behavior. ' Apparently the two men had had a disagreement about dogs sometime before Faull was shot.

A police statement obtained by Gizmodo notes that police haven't established a motive yet, but are pursuing several leads, one of which appears to be McAfee.

McAfee founded the company that bares his name in the late 90s and went on to sell it to Intel for $7. 7 billion in 2010. Since then, McAfee has turned hisattention to a new company he co-founded called Quorumex, which is based in Belize and researches antibiotics. Gizmodo notes that McAfee has become 'increasingly erratic' and estranged in recent years, experimented with hallucinogenic drugs and posting to chat rooms about his experiences.

Earlier this year, McAfee was arrested in Belize for possessing illegal firearms, which he described at the time as being a 'bogus charge. ' He also accused police of having killed his dog during the raid on his house for whatever reason, dogs seem to be a recurring theme in all this.

As strange as it is, McAfee isn't the first founder of a software company to be accused or murder. Hans Reiser, the Linux programmer behind the ReiserFS filesystem, was convicted of killing his wife in 2008.
