Does anyone happen to know if BB allows late check in between 12 am, and 2 am?

There are a few flights from the NY area into STI that get in late. I'd like to be able to fly down after work, head to the hotel and have a fresh start first thing in the morning rather then wasting a day traveling.

The staff is gone at that time, but I know there is a security guard. Not sure if they would be willing to leave the key and I can settle up first thing in the AM with my room charges.

I tried to ask about this during my last trip but the person behind the desk could not interprete what I was asking due to the language barrier.

Yes, you can check in late. For example, if you are getting to BB's at 4:00 am On January 3, you will need to pay for January 2. If you email them that you are arriving late, they will give keys to the security guard, and you can pay when you wake up.

I have to agree with you on this one. No one's forcing them to work there. They chose to work there if they don't want to have the right demeanor in the right attitude, then I'm not going to spend money on them when I'm in the Dominican republic it's like a kid in a candy store. There is so many different options. Not only a Blackbeards what other places that I don't have to deal with a bad attitude. I don't care how good the girl looks. I can get anything I want down there. It's a buyers market. It's a buyer's Paradise.

However most of the Blackbeards ladies have baby damage, tattoo damage, have nothing in common with you to talk about and are typical Dominicans you cannot trust. Dominican women all want to leave early because they have a sick relative in the hospital, their baby needs milk, etc.

Most of them are young and dumb with BF's who pick them up.

How do I get to blackbeards straight from Santiago airport next Friday at 430-5 pm??

Blackbeards answers my room questions but won't provide any info for me to get to them LOL.

Is there a bus from the airport?

This may have been answered, but you can get a cab from the Santiago airport, or at least you could when I was there last winter. It is about $100 US, give or take. I had a late night arrival so didn't want to mess around. There used to be a shared ride service called Tropiclink that was much cheaper, but on the last trip, they said they don't service the area at that time. You might search and call (there is a US number). To see if they are back in business. BB's getting you a cab is about the same price. However, at the airport, the cab supervisor asked if someone else could ride with me, I said yes, but we will now split the fair somewhat.

As to your other questin about slim girls, each time I have been there, several slims girls are available. In my experience with the 5 or 6 times I have visited BB's, the best selection is in the later shift, particularly on the weekend. There are always exceptions, or course.

Driver most probably will try to overcharge you. It's about 1. 5-2 hours drive. BB can send a taxi which would cost you either $100 or $110.

I am going to Sosua 1st, and assuming finding a taxi or bus to Puerto Plata / Blackbeards won't be tough to figure out once I am there.
