Visited the legendary Lina's place today. After reading all the posts here, had a very strong urge to experience the famous E (Adam's Wife).

So it wasn't at check in counter when departing but customs check point on arrival.

Then it's clear. Many airports (all in the Gulf and also many others around the world) have the checked bags x-rated in arrival before Sr dung then to the luggage carrousel.

If there is anything suspicious at their thought and / or illegal to be brought in, the bag will be code marked (a ribbon or a small strap) at the handle. The colour of the mark will enable the customs guy to know what he has to look for at inspection. So he might even question you beforehand "do you have perhaps XY in your bag?" (Aware you have). You better be cooperative and straight honest to avoid hassles. Worst case scenario is the items will be seized. Unless you bring drugs, weapons or banned exotic products. Of course.

DXB performs also an X-ray check after immigration on your carry on luggage. Same purpose to detect not dangerous items that are legal to carry but not to bring in the UAE and were ok at departure check.

I'll be honest, not very hard to decode them.

Just click on the "Search thread" button at the top corner and search each of the keywords (Lina's, Element, Oxygen and Triangle) and read all the older posts one by one gradually to the new ones. Many posts have contain many many clues about the location of each of these "famous" places. Just use Google search, Google maps and a with a bit of logic, you'll figure them out!

I myself had a lot of fun cracking the clues like puzzles!

To Took me a while to find Lisa. There is an Pizza Hut next to burjuman metro. If You Look at Google streetview on the oppsite of the street is an parking Spot. Was in Dubai for 6 hrs before connecting flights at 4 am and guess what I did. Yep was at Lina's as soon as I could to get my fix.
