TLDR: Honduras as a whole sucks for hobbying and is expensive, especially if you're not fluent in Spanish, but Tegucigalpa is the best in the country.

Club Pink Pussycat: Disclaimer as I don't live in Tegucigalpa anymore but this is probably the only westerner friendly strip club in the whole city. It's actually a franchise and the original one is in San Pedro Sula. Looks like they even have East Asian clientele as their most recent review is a 1 star review in Korean! They know this fact which is why prices are surprisingly high. I actually had a pretty good time here if I don't think about value. Came in right as they opened (actually waited outside until they opened). Employees were actually super kind and polite which was surprising as service in Honduras is super hit or miss. Anyways, the bartender here is a deported former resident of the United States that speaks perfect English so even if your Spanish isn't perfect ask him to translate and give him a little tip. Poor guy is trying to turn his life around and raise his kids. Probably a useful contact if you are staying in Tegucigalpa for a while but remember to not be overly trusting. Lap dances are 20 bucks for a couple of songs, and even the waitresses are fair game if they're down. I kind of regret coming in so early as there were only new girls that had no idea what they were doing practicing but on the other hand got to see the whole line up of dancers for the night because I was the only customer. Got a couple of lap dances from the pole dancers but fell in love with a sexy dark skinned MILF waitress and sucked on her juicy thick nips and even got her WhatsApp! Sounds great but the bar fine for her was $200! Not not a typo, 200 fucking US dollars! I declined, and she flaked on me after we chatted for a bit on WhatsApp because she didn't want to meet outside the club. Seems like this pricing is similar to what they charge at Pink Pussycat in San Pedro Sula. How the fuck are they going charge more than Hong Kong in Tijuana or the same as an AMP in the USA and expect to get clients? I don't know..

Street girls: I was warned a lot of them are TS. Maybe you're down. You can start seeing them on Boulevard Morazan after it gets dark. Would highly recommend you do not this out of your own safety.

SA: Definitely the way to go in my opinion, had multiple propositions but prepare options beforehand. Honduran girls are extremely flakey so have back up options. Had an amazing 20 yo who I would see regularly that spoke pretty good English, a little chubby but busty, and a masochist. Unfortunately it seems like she has retired but there were plenty of girls who were willing to P4P for $100 for a hour. One even offered her anus.

It can be tough but there are certainly some great finds. It's just tough to navigate. You will find a couple of agencies with higher priced girls, one even has foreigners. Wanuncios has a few good ones in a sea of TV's and scams. But you can see through fairly easy. FB is actually pretty good to find some, there are a couple guys that recommendable indies that give them a commission. Good luck, you will find some really pretty and fun girls that aren't hardened pros. PM for more info if needed.

Artisttyp -thanks. The only club I saw but did not visit was the one mention in my report which was literally around the corner from my hotel. In Tegucigalpa google map search for 'Kabaret' -although the current name of the establishment is VIP something. I only walked on Blvd Morazan for lunch and early dinner, did not see any street action. There are strip malls on the Blvd Morazan but I did not visit any of them. I must say that I left hotel with only hard cash in Lempiras equivalent of 20-30 Euros, no watch, no cell phone nada.

I'd say that Blvd Morazan is walkable in daytime, there are some coffee shops that came recommended to me by a US person who is now living in Tegu as a teacher. She recommended 'Sigua' coffee shop which is on the street between Morazan and Ave LOS Proceres. She also recommended 'Matambritas' for best burgers which is right where Sigua coffee shop is. I only ate at Lebanos and at El Patio, both walkable and on Blvd Morazan. I also recommend staying at Aparthotel Las Hortensias. The only negative was not having a fridge in the room -although it may be available if you ask but I didn't as I was only there for couple of nights. There is also a western quality grocery store near hotel and is on google map -search for 'Supermercado La Colonia'. This store has everything you'd need to stock up in your room.

I will happy to give you the driver contact in Tegu in case you decide to go.

Thanks Mfins -you are absolutely correct in your assessment of the 'terror threat' So far you and I both have survived San Salvador and Tegu so that's some statistics in our favor!

Great insight on your part on the whole finger printing situation -makes sense.

Regarding my last night in Tegu, the flaquita showed up right on time at 8 PM -throughout the day she was sending me messages and photos of her getting ready for the visit for TLN What a cutie. She lives north of the city about half hour by taxi (according to her) -same young kid transported her two days in a row for 150 Lempira each way that I gladly paid him. The last night was awesome, let's just say she was a horny little thing. I recall after falling asleep exhausted around mid night, at some point around 3 AM, she was under the sheets, between my legs, working on the little guy! Wow. No complaints there. I gave her 2500 Lempira plus some extra in dollars that she never asked for. She asked to give her a ride on my way to the airport. My trusted driver was right on time at 7:15 AM and on way to the airport, we dropped her off at Metro Mall or something like that fairly close to the airport.

Tegu chapter closed on a high note.

I am in Roatan now and have to thank El Mechanico for his extreme generosity and help with Roatan!

A couple of things. When you read about the murders and crime in the paper how many of those are tourists? I venture to say none. I have mentioned this in other forums but, the people who are being murdered are mostly opposing gang members, or people who are involved in extortion, have borrowed money from the gangs and haven't paid it back etc. They do not target tourists. The newspapers sensationalize everything especially here in the US. They will have you believing that as you walk off the plane you will be gunned down or kidnapped. It simply isn't true. If you stay out of Gang infested areas and use minimal common sense a tourist will be as safe in Tegus as any where else.
