Yeah, foreign apps in foreign languages can be PITA for sure. ..... I guess you've already installed it, but for anyone else reading this: if you only do one app it should be Line.

Yup, got it installed on the second go, and I did not have any language problems, but the well known and never fixed problem where you cannot add any contacts any way. So I had to completely erase the account and re-register, and then it worked.

I guess you've already installed it, but for anyone else reading this: if you only do one app it should be Line. In fact if you do any number of apps the very first one should be Line. Always Line. PITA or not it's the app that everyone is going to want to bounce you to from whatever other app you're finding them on. Everyone, all the girls and everyone else, uses Line. Bite the bullet and set up Line. Your time here will be easier / better for it.

Many of them have a text like "My Instagram" or "My line ID +" and then there's nothing following, or maybe some squares. Do I have a problem with the character set of my browser, or isn't there any line ID in first place and I have to ask her for it?

Preparing for my Thailand trip in 3 weeks I got myself a premium subscription to Thai friendly, to get a first idea of the site and the girls there. Here's a few things that are confusing me, maybe there is a pro in this thread, who can help me.

- I was trying to get a look of the competition, so I filtered for all guys in all of Thailand, and only 63 come up. (I allowed my profile to be seen by all men and women.).

That can't be true, can it? Are all the others just hiding from me?

- Many of them have a text like "My Instagram" or "My line ID +" and then there's nothing following, or maybe some squares. Do I have a problem with the character set of my browser, or isn't there any line ID in first place and I have to ask her for it?

- Many of them have "TH" at the end of their TF-name. Is this a redundant mention of Thailand, or does it mean something else?

- Some of the girls post pretty photos and then list a weight / height ratio that makes clear they are at least chubby. If they lie with their photos, why do they give away in the data section that they weigh 85 kg?

And some observations:

- For a country that calls itself "land of smiles" there are a lot of dead serious faces on the site. Also a lot of the photos are of surprisingly bad quality.

- The search filter does not work properly: In a search for Bangkok (+15 km) I also get a few ladies from Pattaya, Phuket, etc.

- looking who is online at what time (and figuring in the time zone) tells you about their day and night rhythm. And a lot of them are online at 4 or 5 am.

- Some girls are sending mixed messages. The funny ones write that they are looking for a serious relationship, but are using photos where they pose half-naked on a bed or in a bathtub. .

You are overthinking Thai Friendly. Nobody there wants to chat with you! There are 1000 guys hitting these girls up everyday. The only way to stand out is to tell them you are ready immediately. Not that you will come in 3 weeks with money. Hell, half the chicks on the site will have changed by then.

Imagine you planning to go to a restaurant for your birthday next month and you look on their website at the menu. You plan out the perfect meal that you want to eat. You get there to order and everything you plan on eating, they tell you not available. That is what you are doing to yourself. For Thai Friendly it is fast food. You walk up to the menu and order what is available for immediate consumption. You don't plan for it like beef wellington.

See a girl you like. Write you cute. When you come see me? She writes back how much you give me. You write short time 1000 long time 1500. What time you come? She writes back I come 1 hour.

Living in some village in Isaan is not always a dream. There's a reason why bar girls tend to stay in Pattaya rather than go back to the village. It's boring.

For some guys, village life is okay. One insurmountable problem, however, is when your Thai partner informs you that she can't fuck any more. Then village reality sets in: there just aren't any available women in the village. This isn't just a problem for Farangs, when bar girls go back to the village, most find there aren't any available men. Mostly because single men and women leave the village to go to some city.

And if you think you can tempt some married lady in the village, that could be a fatal mistake.

So, many Farangs in that situation filter back to Pattaya, minus the money they blew on the house.

Make me laugh when people actually think that money does not play a factor in the racial preferences that Thai Girls have. You see when I have been in a Soi 6 bar with a Korean they have been balling like a mother fucking pro. Does anyone else think that money does not factor into that preference?

Of course Korean money is a big factor, but also that they often spend big money but don't fuck.

My opinion is that a lot come to Thailand in groups from their work. They can show off their wealth by spending big money on drinks, but they know that there is a good chance that their wife will know if they go ST with a lady. So, they are drinks only.

Which is why their wives let them travel to Thailand with their work buddies.

The downside of Soi 6 changing to "drinks only" is obvious. Even if there are no Koreans in the bar when you show up, the bar girl won't want to go up for ST, because Koreans might show up when she is gone, and she might lose a whale.

There is a 3 day rule in Pattaya for customers.

And there is a 3 month rule for bargirls and their customer boyfriends. When some newbie finds his "different" bargirl in Pattaya, goes home after 2 weeks and then sends her money, the 3 month window opens. 90% of all such suckers stop sending money within 3 months. Mostly because they come to their senses.

This is a pain for the bargirl, if she goes back to the village on the basis of receiving regular money. Once the money stops, she has to go back to Pattaya to find a new job and another sucker. Worse, she loses face in the village when the money stops.

From years ago those who "felt" priced out of the market (due to Japanese and Koreans raising prices) continually posted in the Thailand threads how their "rich" Asian counterparts are ruining Thailand pricing. This is why I mentioned that the Koreans and Japanese aren't even going after the same girls the "Farang" are. Currently I've been reading the Philippines threads and all I read is how the Koreans have ruined the market by paying higher rates. Now I haven't been to PI yet but I can bet when I arrive the so called "Korean bars" have way better quality girls than the "Farang bars" (no different than Walking Street vs LK Metro gogo bars in Pattaya). So where will I be? At the "Korean bars".

I'm not sure if I answered your questions. I believe we're on the same side. I always laugh when I hear a guy saying they don't like gogo bars. For me what's not to like. 100+ girls dancing in your face. But when they admit why they don't like gogo bars it always comes down to the Benjamins. They don't want to pay the going rate for the "best looking" girls. ST and LT for gogo bars have been the same since at least 2015. BF for Pattaya has gone up a tad because of tiered pricing in 2016. Lady drinks are out of control but all you really have to do is buy one. None if you're a "handsum man".
