I have a reservation at a small 4-star hotel in the Centro Historico, which I'd prefer to use over short-term hotels, and I'm fine meeting people on the street or in the lobby and bringing them up, but not if the hotel is going to make an issue of it. It's also what appears to be their best room, & I'm prepared to start my stay with an extravagant tip without asking for anything, to grease the wheels. (I originally got the room thinking it had a private entrance, but I double-checked and that seems to have been a mistranslation.) Does that seem viable?

Getting a girl-friendly hotel for your stay in CDMX fixes both problems.
The highest concentration of of girl-friendly hotels are on Tlalpan. Tlalpan is not too bad a location for accessing Centro Historico and Alameda Central as they're all on the same Metro Line 2. Reforma and Bosque de Chapultepec are one transfer onto Metro Line 1. Tough to beat that.
A consideration of the hotel location is that different girls will only go to certain districts. I looked through many girls on eledendelsabor.com and every one would go to Tlalpan so another plus for a hotel on that street.
Not saying Tlalpan is perfect for a tourist and there are a lot of personal considerations but if you're doing a balance of touring and mongering then sleeping in Tlalpan and travelling to the tourist areas to tour is perhaps better than sleeping in a tourist area and travelling to Tlalpan for girls.
Feel free to correct my mistakes! I'm learning!

Booking.com has listings that cannot be found on Expedia, Hotels, etc. * Filter for "adult only". *You will not likely be able to book a love hotel online for a 24 hour room on Friday or Saturday night. *.
There are many dozens, hundreds of love hotels throughout greater CDMX. The highest concentration is along Calz. Tlalpan, which is escort central, although some more cautious girls, like Luna, won't go to there unless you pay their Uber both ways. South of Viaducto the street is a bit safer but nowhere is Calz. Tlalpan tourist friendly, especially not at night. Take an Uber or a cautious route to a metro station. One of the more infamous Tlalpan hotels is the inexpensive Gran Hotel Amazonas on the more dangerous north end. The Alps is very popular with the girls, to the south. * My favorites are the Aranjuez and Montreal. https://www.hoteleskinky.com/.
Upscale or discerning girls will often list their preferred hotels in their announcement. If not, ask them for their recommendation. There are nicer and more expensive love hotels away from Tlalpan like the Patriotismo and Roma Amor.
No family, respectful hotel is "girl friendly" but some are large enough or have secluded access that permit you to bypass security and the reception desk. The Barcelo and Sheraton Maria Isabel come to mind. I always escort the girls to my room from a public area, sometimes from outside the door.
Use the Search tools for reviews of the Hampton Inn Centro Historico and for any other hotel of interest.

I've seen ads on mileroticos from girls saying they travel to specific districts. These districts are usually not the tourist areas where I'm hoping to stay.
How does this usually work? Do I additionally rent a room in a suitable district? Is it more common to do in-call so the girl doesn't need to travel?
Thanks! And sorry for the newb question, still learning.

Hey guys,
Moving to CDMX in a few months. Haven't lived in LATAM or SA before but excited to explore. Would love some guidance in the scene in the city. Any key contacts? Any key places to know about. I've previously lived in Thailand so was quite active in the scene there. Would love to learn more from you all with experience.

Posts: 6695Very nice guide to non-pussy activities. Will come back to CDMX.
I wish I had this guide a month ago when I was in CDMX couple days before flying to Cancun.
Tourists don't have to book on line but can pick up Hop On Hop Off Buses on the street next to the North side door of catedral Metropolitano.
Van tours to Titeohuacan are ridiculous, start at 7 AM and stuck in traffic. They take you around all day to their trinket shops and restaurants.
Metro line 3 will go to Basilica de Guadalupe and Titeohuacan quickly.

Posts: 1472CDMX Tourism Ideas for you and your date
Theía de Muertos, Mexico City 2024.
Should you decide on CDMX for your stopover for the first time or plan on visiting a few touristy sites alone or accompanied, here are my sample suggestions, and remember, your newly local girlfriend may also hail from another state.
Morning coffee: See Bosque de Chapultepec and Chapultepec Lake. You may start at the Starbucks café near Librería Porrúa. There are rides on the lakes, many kiosks and a lot of fun.
Day lunch: Meet at CINETECA NACIONAL MÉXICO www.cinetecanacional.net Av. México Coyoacáand #389 Col. Xoco Alcaldía Benito Juárez.
5 o'clock tea (see on clear weather day and plan to see the sunset):
Torre Latinoamericana – Tower Eje Central Lázaro seeárdenas 2 Centro Histórico de la Cdad. De México, Centro, Cuauhtémoc. There is an observation deck, a Restaurante miralto.com l. Ead. Me / cartas20.
(Note: take separate portrait lens for the observation deck if you got DSLR camera as security may not allow long distance lens as this allows to take photos of a National Palace).
Evening late night dinner at Salon Tenampa: Plaza Garibaldi is located between Calle Republica de Honduras and Calle Republica de Peru on Eje Central, just north of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Set aside time to visit the nearby Museum of Tequila and Mezcal. www.mutemgaribaldi.mx.
Alameda Central is great on any weekend night (Thursday to Sunday). A lot of dance parties, food courts and old fashioned Luna park type attractions.
Other must visit tourist ideas:
Monument to the Revolution – Monument Pl. De la República s / and Tabacalera, Cuauhtémoc mrm. Mx There are two Adelita coffee shops, one at base and the second at 3rd floor. The monument is open on Sunday, but the Museum of the Revolution is not, isn't it revolutionary? Remember, inside the monument to go up you have to go down first, this is the revolutionary truth.
Palacio de Bellas Artes Av. Juárez s / and esq. Eje Central Lázaro seeárdenas, Col. Centro, Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc.
Pay a small extra charge for your camera work. Show up 15 minutes in advance to be the first visitor of the day. Which other major city is it possible, anyway?
Museo de Arte Moderno Av. P. º de la Reforma s / and, Bosque de Chapultepec I Secc, Miguel Hidalgo, 11580 Miguel Hidalgo. Visit the Garden https://mam.inba.gob.mx/jardin.html.
Chapultepec Castle mnh. Inah. Gob. Mx / Primera Seccióand del Bosque de Chapultepec s / and Photos are not allowed here, however everyone is taking them.
National Museum of Antropology Av. Paseo de la Reforma s / and, Col. Chapultepec Polanco. www.mna.inah.gob.mx Absolutely get a guided tour here.
Museo Soumaya Blvd. Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, Granada, Miguel Hidalgo, – Plaza Carso museosoumaya. Org.

Finally, if you're planning on a future revolution, then the following visit is a must:
Museocasadeleontrotsky. ********.com Av. Areío Churubusco 410, Col. Del Carmen, Alc. Coyoacáand.
If you are caught walking randomly too often about the Reforma Red light district, tell the oficial you're about to discuss uneven lighting conditions with the curator at the nearby Museo Nacional de San Carlos mnsancarlos. Inba. Gob. Mx.
So, those were my 2 centavos or maybe more adjusted for inflation, eh?

Better late than never. I've been meaning to post the review for a long time, but never got around to it. I got contacts for Merry and Valentina from Juan Carter in February. I met Merry. It was among my all time best encounters. We agreed for a couple of hours, she came at noon and we spent the whole afternoon together until I had to end the session at 5 because I had to go out, several hours after what was agreed. She didn't ask for extra payment but I tipped generously.
Scheduling with Valentina wasn't that successful. I made multiple attempts to schedule a meeting in the afternoon, but it never materialized. I feel evenings might be a better time to schedule with her. I talked to her both in February and July. She seemed quite personable in texts. Hope I'll get lucky some time soon.
Now I'm back for the día de los muertos weekend. Hoping to meet more amazing girls.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I will be visiting Mexico City for a handful of days in mid-November. This will be a strictly mongering trip, and will be a birthday gift to myself to celebrate another year (indeed, another DECADE) around the sun.
If you search for Quagmire1974 in this thread, you'll see that I wrote a series of reports in December 2022 documenting my mongering adventures (and misadventures) in Mexico City at that time, and this upcoming trip will be similar to what I did back then. Please look for my fresh Mexico City trip report in December 2024 (give or take a couple of weeks).

Posts: 5Bait and Switch independent ads
Be aware I was in CDMX this past weekend and three instances of bait and switch. Even though I told them that I want a recent photo to make sure the door man / security lets them in. Each time the worker was decent enough to continue but each was different and completely different then the advertise. I used skokka advertised as independents and also cityoflove. Each the service was 1800-2000 mex pesos and not bad since that's a little around $100 bucks.
