Thanks for your detailed report. I was passing this place many times, and never tried. I eagerly wanted to tried this place, but you changed my mind.

I went to this place about 2 weeks ago as I was passing by around 5:30 pm. As it was not a good experince I was not keen to write. But this is how it went. It is northing much but must say good marketing effoert and very arractive. Its in a prime area with nice external and interior decorations. But you cannot get in witout seen by at least 30 to 50 people passing by, same when you comes out and the security gards in close by buildings and by standers aree looking at you like an alien. When you get in its 8 k or 10 k packagers. 8 K you get a mat in a common area with 12 beds and there are 2 such areas. In the public area you will be seperated by 2 side curtens. For 10 k you get a room. I opted for the room, the strectly no selection, you have to take what they give you. So I went in. You have to remove your shoues and socks before you go up to the massage mat area. Then the bummer. Ther coustomers have to walk in the commen area. For all the 30 odd mats there are 2 shower cubicals and next 2 that is a locker room. You need to put all your bellogings in the locker room and then you are seated in a shorts and shirt they give you in a chair just outside the shower room. Then the allocated lady will come and clean your feet after dipped in hot water. Then you are taken to the cubical. Massage is done with the cloths they have given on you. The day was clan and dreassed but like in larte 30's, when opened shaggey boobs and lot of stretch marks. It was a good massage basically putting preshure than a massage. It was done for 30 minutes. Then came extras. She said B2 B is 5 k, HJ 5 K, BJ 10 k and FS for 10 k. I opted for a shake and B2 B for 10 k. Then she opend up and it was a diaaspointment. Finished as soon as I could. Wend for the wash and met few guys by the lockers. Had to wait till one was finished in the shower. Also the Angels' Abode Hifi spa close to the National Tree Pit Road end of Mari Kindale Avenue seems to have undergone a change. The welcoming green sign with white letting outside has been rudely taken away with only the stand and the frame remaining but I could still see the typical illuminated spa sign on their door, far inside the premises a bit above the Avenue level. Either the ownership has changed or they have simply removed the sign so that the joint would be somewhat obscure.

And no prizes for decoding Mari Kindale Avenue or National Tree Pit Road. Angels' Abode Hifi spa is a different matter altogether.

I saw that Red Apple has closed down. At least the board is down and the gate was locked. Today I saw that the ethul kotte spa which was renamed recently also closed with no board and gate locked. Are business bad for spas these days I wonder. Did anyone visit the new improved Sammanmal Spa in Embuldeniya. I stopped going there due to cameras but tempted to go again after seeing the new building!!
