The gambling took a hit in my book because the craps table is rarely open. Friday and Saturday nights yes, but the others it may not be.
I had a chica from Jamaica pay her own chica fee for me recently. We hit it off pretty good in the casino. I bought her a few beers and negotiated her down to $80 and she would pay the chica fee. Believe me, I was shocked myself.
She said she had family in Panama. I know she is still roaming around Panama City, but I am not sure if she is still hanging at the Veneto.
Another night I sat with with a chica at the slot machines closest to the elevators on the casino level. We waited till the doorman was occupied and literally rushed into the elevator and hit the close door button. He yelled, but we were long gone and avoided the fee!

I have been to Panama about 5 times. I have always stayed at Veneto. But now they will charge about $43 to bring a woman to your room. That is BS. I used to gamble there, but I don't gamble much lately, but I heard they now take a percentage of your winnings as a tax or something.

I know that sounds very odd to me. But others are saying that. The hotel does seem to get worse and worse. I can put up with that, but I can't put up with them charging $43 to bring a girl to your room fee. I know if I go to Panama again I will not stay in the Veneto.

Posts: 409You still get charged. If not to late, book another hotel.

Posts: 42You are correct, I only viewed this "Update" page on this thread and the last report was a bit confusing and unclear. I have read about the Veneto and the reports from earlier in the month now. It's a PiTY. No pun intended. Anyway, I wonder how the chica fee fits in when you book for 2 adults. That wasn't discussed on the regular thread.

Posts: 409You need to read the Panama thread because obviously you have not. The Veneto is a dump with a chica fee now.

Mates:
I used to go to PTY quite a bit, but haven't been in about 2 years now. Planning to be there in May (11-15 or so). I saw the Veneto is no longer a Wyndham property. Any other changes? I ask because even their website is incorrect and refers to Wyndham, so it makes me concerned that it is not the same place. I booked through Hotels / Orbitz website and so far, so good.
Is it still the same, fun Veneto we know and love? Still no charge to bring a friend upstairs to entertain?
Thank you in advance!

Panama update.
The Hotel Manrey is closed down the Hotel Veneto should be. Pretty said. That said last night there was a very nice selection in the Veneto Casino.
