Could someone please recommend some girl-friendly hotels in Panama City. By girl-friendly I mean no charge for bringing ladies to your hotel?

Planning on heading down in October staying at Panama Marriott. This is an old thread, but I will report back the chica fee if they have one. I'm an ambassador member, so we will see. I also made my reservation for 4 people, so we will see.

Anybody ever stay in the Loft room on the 14th floor? Is there too much noise from the pool to sleep in? Guest fee is $30 based on a telephone call.

First time I hear about this place; anyone been to the VIP room? If so, is it good or not worth it?

Happy to report that I visited Alejandro's last night and it was actually very good. Used the VIP room also and had no issues, everything went smoothly. There were approximately 35 girls last night, not sure how weekdays will be, but definitely recommend this bar to all.

Recently found the new chicas bar in Panama and thought you guys ought to know about it for the next time you happen to be in Panama. The bar has it all. It's claim to fame is that it is google's first choice for authentic Cuban cigars and Hookah in Panama City, but when you get there you will realize that apart from the cigars (which are very good), there are independent chicas working there also. While certainly not the quantity of Habanos, there are approximately 15-25 chicas at Alejandro's on the average night. Apart from the cigars and the chicas, I found out that even the waitresses "work" also. And here's where it gets even better, you don't technically have to go back to your hotel with a girl and pay the chicas fee (which can be approximately $100-$150), rather, simply tell the girl that you want to go to one of the VIP rooms that are in the bar and she will arrange it for you and you simply tip the girl a $30 extra per hour and go to the VIP room undisturbed.

Yes unfortunately they do still. Think $100 per girl. The best bet is to take the girl to Alejandros Bar in Calle 50 and go to the VIP room. Its only $30 rather than $100+.

If on the other hand you want the girl for the night, then you have to resort to the hotels and pay the chica fee unfortunately.

But you get charged if you bring a girl past the front desk and not through the casino entrance? I made a booking through the Hyatt. They said the guest charge is $40. Don't know if there is a way to avoid that as well.
