Looks as if Covid has hastened the inevitable, with reports that OT is set to be sold 'en bloc' for SGD1. 6 bn, no doubt to be replaced by a high-rise of luxury condos. You have to wonder if there's anywhere else in modern Singapore that could become the new home for the likes of Crazy Horse, Ipanema etc, not just as one club here and one club there but a collection of clubs in the one location. I think the era which OT represented may be gone for good.

OT is in a prime location and, if not mistaken, it is a freehold and hence that premium. But still, at this price it is crazy high.

My friend passed through the area recently and told me that it was dead. Yeah, it's only a matter of time. I am going to miss Ipanema and all those Viet girls. I was always able to find a good one whenever I was there. Anyway, there will be always be another new place in the city where all these Viet girls and Pinays can congregate in the future.

OK, you can get service in the HDB massage places. You have to look for the ones that are either upstairs or with blacked glass. They're definitely not well advertised.

However, at least the one I tried was not staffed with SYT; more like old aunties servicing a bunch of old uncles. Most unappealing, at least in Toa Payoh. Don't waste your time.

Lurkers, I recently saw a timeline story on WhatsApp from an Indonesian domestic there in Singapore who was showing herself walking about in OT last Sunday. I asked her if it was back open and she stated yes it was some of the places were. I'm thinking she was going to the place (not sure of the name) that mostly the Indonesian women went to on the same floor as Ipanema. Can anyone on the ground there verify it OT still up and running in a limited capacity?

The Shopping complex next to / attached to the Holiday inn Atrium definitely had about 3 - 4 Massage spots (as already mentioned by The Tanuki). Adelphi too had a fair number of Massage shops, but I think a lot of them shifted out well before the pandemic. And of course, OT had a fair number as well. Would be great to know what's the current scene there as one hasn't set foot on Sg shores since this nightmare unfolded.

Adelphi definitely had some hotties, but all very overpriced, so I never tried. I'm really, really wondering about some of the HDB estates. I checked out the one near me and it's definitely not set up for that, but others, I'm not so sure.

Has anyone tried the massage places somewhat off the beaten path? By that I mean Peninsula Plaza, Chinatown, Bugis, etc? For that matter, some of the shops in the HDB estates look like they might have services.

Probably not something a tourist would want to try, but if you've been here a few years and are comfortable one of those places it might be worth a shot. I'm tempted to start researching in a few weeks time. Will report back if I find anything.

What I'd really like to find is a regular that's slim and offers CIM. English not a requirement (a PM with recommendations would be gratefully accepted!

With VTLs open I am seeing a trickle of girl sfrom Vietnam and Thailand coming in again. Prices are much higher (170 SGD vs 90 SGD) for one shot with a Thai girl but at least the girls are cute and young. Also another operation bringing in a lot of Viets but at 300 SGD and up for a shot. Similar to old OT girls. As travel opens up more things will start to improve here in Singapore. Corresponding some local girls pricing has started to come down to earth (300 to 400 SGD) although a few are still trying (and getting) as much as 1200 SGD / HR.

Thanks for that "on the scene with News5 Reporting!" I guess inflation is not just a US thing! Hopefully by the time I make it down there prices would have stabilized a little. Where are these new influx headed to? Are they hanging out around OT or have they found a new location?

I didn't know Singapore was open to Vietnam and Thailand? Good news if that is the case! Must have been very hard on working girls stuck in Singapore for the past two years, too, or even freelancers who could pick up an extra few hundred dollars at a time.

Have a look at Locanto as well. That used to be a potential place to find some Thai and Viet ladies. About 90% scams but a few gems for SIN and Tokyo at least.
