Thinking about doing a tourist + mongering trip in the coming month, but unsure which destination to choose—BKK Thailand, PP Cambodia, or AC Philippines. I am not a rookie; I have traveled much and traveled the world. However, I haven't visited BKK, PP, or AC. Even though I have RTFF on each of these cities, I still need guidance from someone who has visited each and can offer firsthand knowledge. Thank you for your assistance, and as always, after I travel to one of these locations per your recommendation, I will post to the forum.

You hit the nail right on the head. I have reminded the poster in question and his twin of this fact. Yet each one of them continue to read every word I write here and every other part of the Thailand forum and continue to reply to my posts. They could simply use the ignore section or better yet actually use their brains (if they actually had any) and exercise self restraint.

Banging on the keyboard is what they do to pass the time. I understand that.

Old codgers are prime targets for bar girls who don't want to work anymore. The old guys don't fuck too much, and as long as the bar girl gets enough cash and has free time to visit her Kik, it's all good.

On the other hand, young Farangs are a serious thing for older bar girls, especially if marriage is on the offing. Even if relocation out of Thailand is required. A completely different situation from the old codger thing.

One wrinkle is the young sexy man who lets his bar girl continue to work bar, and lives off her earnings.

It's hard for me to believe the Facebook posts from Thai bargirls showing their elderly Farang "boyfriend". Apparently, the older, the better. Some of these codgers look like they are dead already.

Invariably, after wasting a few years, their boyfriend kicks off this mortal coil, and the bargirl is shocked to discover that the Farang's family got the money, and there is nothing left for the bargirl. So, now she has to work massage, since she's too old to work bar.

Sometimes, the bargirl will pop out a baby while she is with her ancient customer, most of the time the Baby Daddy is her Thai kik, but once the money stops, the kik is gone, leaving her with a young child to raise.

Going with one lady for the entirety of a 2 week trip is not so easy, it implies that the monger go with the first lady he bar fines.

The biggest problem is that many ladies don't do long bar fines, its only a small minority who do. Moreover, ladies who do long bar fines want their customers to swoon over them and be their boyfriend. Mostly because smitten customers may sponsor them after the 2 weeks, or buy them a house.

If the customer doesn't show signs of being smitten or throwing money at them, then the 2 weeks can get pretty awful. The lady will spend their time playing telephone looking for her next customer, and maybe she is having a 7 day period, which ends the day the customer goes home.

I suspect a more common mode is to bar fine a lady for a night. If that works out, another bar fine for two or three nights, etc. I don't think I have ever bar fined a lady in Pattaya for two weeks, it would kill a bar girl to stay in Pattaya, but not be able to see her boyfriend or go to a boy karaoke bar.

My fascination with any lady ends when I blow my spooge. Hand her the cash, say goodbye, get another tomorrow. If she has special skills, like a throat deeper than the marianas trench (a good score in Thailand), keep her on the list for another round. But never show weakness, like you care or really like them or are lonely or whatever she can use to get her hooks into you and drain your wallet.

Not to mention his poor wife sitting beside him totally helpless. Or their loved ones back at home who have lost a father. The twenty other people in hospital including a person who will be paralysised for the rest of their life.

This Board ID pretty light handed on moderation. Which of course allows nasty, loathesome, repulsive shit to get posted. But at least the responses are allowed. Personally I think the poster in question has some serious mental issues.

Sure they will go to bars the first few nights to look for a girl and once they find one that seems bearable for 2 weeks they do the "rent a GF" thing. Some of my friends who have come are good looking guys but don't want a GF back home. They just want the GF feeling for 2 weeks and will pick up civvies back home. Other guys I know aren't able to get a decent looking civvy GF at home so do the "rent a GF" thing. Contrary to what you keep preaching though, none of my friends sponsor girls. They are back in Thailand or another SEA country within 3 months looking for a new "rent a GF".

Probably the #1 advice I give to guys coming to Thailand for the first time is: don't get hung up on one bar girl. There are 1000's of them, if you hook up with one, you will miss the greatest attraction of Thailand: the 1000's of ladies waiting for you.

Never did it myself, but I know people who have done it. One friend married a bar girl and hired a contractor to start building a house in Krabi for the two of them. He came to his senses before construction was completed. I'm sure he lost money in the transaction, but it wasn't a disaster. The divorce was shortly thereafter.

Another couple did it successfully, but she was never a P4P girl. She owns the land and he owns the newly built house. I don't know what happens when she wants his house removed from her land, but right now they are happily living in that house.

Another example was an American married a Thai bar girl and they used all of his retirement money to buy land and build a successful business. The woman died after a few years and the Thai government gave the business to her son. He got kicked out from the business that he built.

Of course, farang cannot own Thai real estate, so she can kick your ass to the curb whenever she wants. She keeps the real estate. If ever tempted to get a house for a Thai girl, I have 3 suggestions. Rent. Rent. Rent. If she pushes to buy land, you know she didn't want a house to live, she wanted a financial asset.

Just do a 30 year land lease and you can have a clause to renew after 30 for another 30. Not all properties are available for this but it is not hard. Just keep looking.
