The "sex workers" in Tijuana have had to have health cards since around 2005, IIRC. Maybe earlier? Interesting about the psychologist. I think that part is relatively new.

What might happen is if a girl is new and it takes 7 days to get your card HK might just take the risk and let the girl work instead of not being able to make money for a week. One thing I didn't know when reading about what it takes to get the card is the girls also meet with a psychologist.

Posts: 587Got some interesting texts the other day from a part time HK chica. I hooked up with her a couple weeks ago and she went to get tested this past Monday. When we hooked up it was BBFS as I have known her for over a year now, so far everything has been cool. Anyway, she told me she came back negative for STD's but that they found some type of bacteria which weirded her out and had her thinking about who she had hooked up with recently. According to her I have been the only guy she's had unprotected sex with recently and was wondering if everything with me was all good. I asked her what kind of bacteria she was talking about and that I have managed to stay clean my entire life. She said she was just wondering because she knows of at least one other girl I do BBFS with since we’ve had a couple of threesomes with her and said who knows how many other girls I bang the same way. When she referred to that it sounded like she was sort of fishing for information wanting to know who else I hook up with. I told her I have known the other girl for well over two years and have never caught anything from her as well. She then sent me a long voice note backtracking what she was saying and told me not to worry about it and that she wasn't trying to imply anything. She ended it by saying we should just be more careful about the people we do BBFS with. She then switched subjects talking about a civilian job she's interested in applying for since she's never liked being a bar girl. She must be nuts if she expects me to believe I'm the only guy she's let gone bareback recently LOL.

Analysis: Cervical-Vaginal Exudate
Microscopic Observation:
Neutrophils: 0-1 /Cpo (Field) | Reference: Few
Bacteria: Abundant | Reference: Few
Candida sp: Negative | Reference: Negative
Trichomonas vaginalis: Negative | Reference: Negative
Epithelium: Negative | Reference: Negative
Gram Staining:
Gram:
Gram-Positive Bacilli
Gram-Negative Bacilli
Gram-Positive Cocci | Reference: Variable
Tested for:
Neisseria gonorrhoeae: Negative | Reference: Negative
Treponema pallidum: Negative | Reference: Negative
Explanation:
This is a cervical-vaginal exudate test, which looks at microscopic elements in a sample from the cervix or vagina. Here's a breakdown of the key results:
Neutrophils: Very few immune cells were found, which might indicate no significant inflammation.
Bacteria: There are abundant bacteria, which could point to bacterial overgrowth or infection.
Candida sp: Negative, meaning no yeast (commonly linked to yeast infections) was detected.
Trichomonas vaginalis: Negative, meaning no trichomoniasis (a sexually transmitted infection) was found.
Epithelium: No epithelial cells in the observation, which is normal in certain contexts.
The Gram Staining section identifies different types of bacteria:
Gram-Positive Bacilli, Gram-Negative Bacilli, and Gram-Positive Cocci were observed, which helps classify the types of bacteria present.
Finally, the test shows negative results for Neisseria gonorrhoeae (which causes gonorrhea) and Treponema pallidum (the bacterium responsible for syphilis), indicating no infection by these specific pathogens.
The test indicates there might be a bacterial imbalance or overgrowth, but no fungal or parasitic infections, and no detection of specific STIs like gonorrhea or syphilis. Further consultation with a healthcare provider would help interpret these results in context.Last edited by FlapJacK; 09-05-24 at 17:00. Reason: edit

From what I read they are given the medication to fix the problem at no cost except for the case of HIV but that can be covered if they have Social Security from what I read. The girls are responsible for paying for the tests.

If a girl tells you she no longer works in one of the zona clubs but now is independent, get your suspicions in place just in case. A girl once told me she is out sick from her HK work but can see me outside of the club, told her I will see her when she gets better and return but she never did. Use protection at all times.

I remember fairly recently the Hong Kong being shut down concerning STD testing. Does anyone know the actual policy for STD testing in Zona for the bar girls? How often are they tested? Does it encompass all the bars in Zona? How about street girls? What STD's do they test for, HIV, Syphilis, HSV etc? What happens if they test positive for an STD? Who pays for these test?
