Thanks for the report! Those were probably the same 3 girls I seen in there a few weeks back. Can't remember what the girls were wearing when I was there. I just remember 1 girl looked like a TS. Let me know how to get in contact with Edwin or PM me. Thanks! Moe.

The USA And Mexico extended the essential travel ban again until December 21st. I'll be going over to Algodones this Saturday for a Caliente run and meds. I'll see if the Algodones border times are going to adjust for produce season.

    Election Day LOS Algodones

Went down on Tuesday around 11:30 am. Had a buddy come out from PHX for a couple days and we wanted to go down and get some food and drink and he wanted to get a haircut. Green Door had 3 Chicas working but nothing to write home about. Took our temperature on the way in but we only stayed for a beer and then left. Masero's name was Alex. Onto La Parilla for food and drink. Good restaurant. Decent prices and the food was good. Decided to see if the Hawaii Bar was open. It's was not! Double doors chained with lock with locals that we talked to about Hawaii telling us to go to green door. My buddy got a decent haircut from Salon de Belleza for 6 US Dollars. Word on the street is the border will stay open until 5 pm starting on November 17th. As far as when they will stay open regular hours, nobody seemed to know. Would love to check this place out again. Maybe on a weekend might be better and when I can stay a little bit longer and not have to cross by 2. Moe.

This morning I was in Caliente Sports Book and Jorge from the Green Door came in. He said the The Door is open. Hours at this time are 10 AM to 12 PM. He said maybe next week he might be able to extend the hours, but it depends on the Mexicali Gov't. I doubt the Mexicali Gov't will let him extend the hours, because Mexicali has seen an uptick of Covid-19 cases. The mayor of Mexicali also wants to reduce restaurant / bar capacities back to 30%. Right now there operating at 50%. We'll see what happens next. One last thing, the Mexican Gov't asked the USA To extend the travel ban to November 21st, and the USA Agreed. I asked the USA Immigration officer in Algodones, and he said, yes it's true. They were told in in email late yesterday.

HotAz, It was briefly open on Friday, then it didn't pass it's inspection. So yes, the Green Door will have to wait another 2 weeks go get inspected again. I had a friend that had beers on Friday afternoon, so I passed on the info that I received.

Thanks for the info, nice to hear things are slowly opening up. How would you rate the 3 girls you saw working?

Jorge along with his brothers are owners and operators of the Green Door in Algodones. I would say the bars aren't going to open up as along as the border still closes at 2 PM.

According to La Cronica, Baja California is going to the Orange Level. That means a little looser restrictions for restaurants, churches, etc. Upon leaving Algodones, I chatted with an ICE officer friend, and she thinks it will be late October when the crossing times change, maybe. It depends on the situations and the ICE head administrator for the area as well.
