Posts: 562As I mentioned in the initial response when you asked, they are clandestine places in Mexico City. If you can find this "different wording" on Google maps so can law enforcement which means they get cracked down. Not all of Mexico has the same laws, but the only thing that comes to mind as a brothel are sex shops like intezzo but can't guarantee good quality. Maybe try Mileroticos and then see if they give you addresses and see if there are any google reviews. There are ways but it's not as easy as GDL or MTY where it's obvious.

Posts: 562You're overthining it, it's a different region of Mexico so somethings are the same just different wording like tomate rojo in the north of Mexico vs jitomate in Centro Mxico.
However, legally speaking, Guadalajara has more liberal laws than other parts of Mexico, also Monterrey.

Posts: 562I'm sure there is but I haven't gone there but you can expect things to be overpriced. One strategy is to talk to the taxi drivers or Uber drivers but then again that's a bit risky or overpriced.

Posts: 562In Mexico City, they are more clandestine and harder to find since the rules are a bit more strict. They don't even have many strip joints and the ones they do will rip you off. I did some research once in Mexico city for esteticas but it was very few that I would trust.

It seems to me that "esteticas masculinas" (which are essentially brothels with different levels of price, luxury and girls) exist only in Guadalajara. Does something like that exist in other cities, particularly DF, but just with a different generic name? Search on Google with "spa", "masaje" gives mixed results. Looking for the magic search term.

Posts: 63Just a quick summary for everyone. I flew in and was given a six month pass for tourism.
I wound up busing to the border and walking across on foot. It was easy. They just needed my passport and that tourism pass.
In unrelated question. Has anyone else encountered an issue with girls having body odor? I didn't have this problem until recently. 3 in a row seemed to smell of sweat. Bad reek. One had a busy day apparently which was gross. All around it had some issues with her hygiene. Another was freshly showered at 10 am. I was the first of the day. After 40 minutes in bed she got very sweaty and kind of reeked.

Just a heads up to those that are looking for some good deals. From Nov 10th thru Nov 16th is "Buen Fin" week as businesses give special discounts to customers. Now if you don't live in Mexico this doesn't matter but for those that fly you can get some really good deals on flights. For example Volaris has discounts on flights from now thru March 2023.

Is it possible for me to fly to Mexico then take a bus up to the border to cross back?
Flights have gotten expensive because of the pilot shortage.
