Looking for a golf resort that is close to some action in mexico. A buddy wants to go there during Christmas to golf. Said I would go with him but I don't golf. Figure ID just drive his cart around and be his caddy while drinking coronas all day. Then at night pick up some action. Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

Lots of places are good. From personal experience, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan would fit the bill. They both have action and golf courses. I don't know any of the golf courses personally as I don't waste my time on it. Of the two cities, I'd prefer Maz. Prices are more reasonable for pretty much everything. If you read any Spanish, the sexoenmazatlan forum has much better information than here. I think ISG could use a separate thread for Mazatlan. It's a nice town with some good action. Table dance, casas de citas as well as agencies and online indies. I've accidentally 'fallen in' to a casa de cita I didn't know was there previously while walking home from another one. Good action in CDMX, but I don't know about the golf.

A big thank you to Tomjackin for covering Puerto Vallarta (PR) so well. And thank you for directing me to his post. I've cancelled my plans for Cancun and instead looking at PR flights.

3 things:

1.) Club Aqua, Taboo, Candy's and Harem are on my must visit list. Should I add anything else?

2.) What are the options for an overnight companion in the room? To me the clubs are good for a quick pit stop but I also prefer to have a warm body in bed at night. Is that an option in PR? Or is it best not to have a companion in the room?

3.) On the hotel front. How is the Marriott, or Hyatt? Will I make a mistake if I choose to stay at a resort over something like Hotel Rio?

Might be too late for you by now, but for posterity. You can always get a Motel in any Mexican city for a 'short term' stay. Motel rooms in Mexico generally mean "hook up rooms". Discrete, clean, but generally short term. Most of the big resorts are 'wrist band' places. You won't get an escort in one easily.

I just got back from Tijuana and although the mongering scene is nothing special, I can appreciate the street girl action for what it is. As I read other threads in the Mexico section, it doesn't seem like most other Mexican cities have anything quite comparable to Tijuana, maybe with the exception of DF. A member just posted a brief street girl report in the GDL thread but it sounds sparse for such a large city. And the beach resort towns like Cabo and PV don't seem to have much of a street girl scene at all, the mongering is all centered around strip clubs and escorts it sounds like.

Does Tijuana really have the best street girl action in all of Mexico?

Circumstances have me solo in a Cabo San Lucas resort next month. Looking through the CSL reports, it seems pretty difficult and inconsistant. I'm north of 50 with a hearing problem so I don't enjoy spending time in bars or clubs chatting up the chicas to negotiate.

So what about BYO? There's one local white girl who could probably come. She can talk forever, so there's no danger of long awkward silences over dinner. LOL. Other possibility is one from the local Asian micro that I've started using. Not sure about their English, but I'm happy to teach.

Obviously, they would have to have all their own legit travel documents, but I'm wondering about costs. I'd pay for air, and meals (optional all inclusive). Cash value of that works out to be about 2 shots a day if it was incall. I'm not Superman, so I don't expect more than 2-3 shots a day. Should I expect to pay extra on top of expenses? If so, how much? I'm just a regular guy, so dropping $10 K for a week is not realistic.

Any comments / suggestions welcome!

Cigarettes from the USA are limited to 1 carton, you can bring more if you declare them, at 573% tax. Don't declare them? Get caught, fine, which can be US $500. Frontier resident Mexicans can no longer bring alcohol into Mexico tax free. Americans still can but the amount is limited. There's a lot more, and you can visit the government site, which has the rules in english. It sucks, having to buy Mexican beef, pork, and chicken. For those that live in the border area of Mexico.

General question that hopefully somebody can answer. Are Mexican strippers generally accepting of bringing a wife to a strip club and getting a lap dance together? Wife is receptive to the idea. Perhaps the first step to something more. Possible vacation destinations are Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Cozumel, Cabo San Lucas, and maybe Tijuana for a night. I scanned through a couple of pages of each of those places' threads but didn't spot anything. Thanks.

I did a lot of research on this place, plus I got a lot of help from Old Parr. Here are my thoughts:

1) Besides Taboo, go to the other no cover charge places, such as Disturbo, Andromeda, Vizzio, and last, but not least, Tapanko.

2) My mom does not allow sleepovers, so I can't comment on this subject.

3) The big hotels / resorts will not allow outside guests in your room. PV is more of a family destination, and from what I learned, stay at the smaller hotels or rent a condo.

Just my 2 pesos.

A traveler ends up paying twice for a tank of gas in LOS Cabos, by credit card then cash when the card supposedly didn't work.

On a recent trip to Mexico's Baja Peninsula, I'the managed to avoid filling my rental car's tank until the final day when I was about to return the car to the airport. I figured I was better off minimizing the number of times I handed over my credit card to gas stations or any business since credit-card fraud can be common in Mexico.

Good instinct, it turned out.
