    Highest at Risk Hours

It is public knowledge that the Roads are NOT safe after 6 PM.

The Zetas and the Cartels have been advertising this for some time.

You are correct. As of my last post it WAS relatively safe.

And am now inclined to say that yes, now I think it may be a bit unsafe out there, esp when people drive around big ass trucks and other SUVs.

But what I am saying is that you kind of make it seem its like nuevo laredo or juarez or something and its just not that bad. That being said, I don't think I would be going now and I know alot of girls out there that I regularly bang, but even then a piece of ass isn't worth my car getting jacked.

Just drive a POS over. It looks like they want nice vehicles. I'm sure a Pinto or a Gremlin would be right there when you came back.

First apologies to the membership. I think I may be becoming a serial question asker on this thread, although I do make some worthwhile contributions elsewhere on the board.

Vincennes, Thanks for the Ciudad Acuna report. I've debated staying overnight at Hunters instead of one of the local motels. The one time I was about to pull the trigger they told me no rooms were available -- it was a weekend during deer hunting season though. Anyway, I think I'm going to follow in your footsteps. A few questions --

Did your room have good A/C? Was it otherwise OK?

Is the restaurant off to the side of Hunters and Rio still open from lunchtime onwards until late at night?

Were you there on a weekend or weekday?

Are there many women who stay the night at Hunters, sleeping in the rooms?

How did the house charge for the room? Was it some fixed amount to stay there overnight, plus $20 for each woman?

    Thanks

    Very very good report!

But I will add just a few things to this. Oh yes, about the blood, I'm sure it was maybe a knife or someone just got the living shit beat out of them by a couple of dudes or a couple of beer bottles.

About the Zetas, this has been a rumor that they did cross and do what they did. It has almost already been disspelled, but still not 100% and I know some "top cops" that say it wasn; t true and etc etc. But then again, who really knows.

The murdered cop in acuna. Yes he was blown away with about 15 gunshots. He was supposedly protecting and in cahoots with either a Zeta who turned to the other cartel or the other way around.

Some of the bars do not close early. I think Crosby's has always closed like at 12 or 1, but corona club and all the others still stay open normal hours.

Acuna has not turned into a ghost town. The only times it has was when some shit did go down and several people were killed, but that is like everywhere else, but its normal as can be as of yesterday when I went. And there is no cerfew as you have said.

    That was for the bad.

For the good. Its all good!

Best place for girls, for me is still downtown. I have this regular girl who used to work at Jessies Bar, her name is "Monsi" which is a nickname or shortened version of her name. She is about 22 yrs old hella pretty and a HUGE j-lo ass which I bang for about $20 US. That can be the normal price for most girls in downtown. Now granted I have not been to Acuna BT in a couple years so I can't say if its better here or there. One day I will have to go and check out BT again and visit old stomping grounds. But then again, why spend 100 when you can get the same thing, or close to it for 80 less?

    Ciudad Acuna Everyone!

Acuna was not as I left it but was relatively safe. Not that it matters here but the fishing was great. When we quit fishing at 3 pm we were still in fish. I am 100 percent sure I caught a lake record bluegill. It was at least a pound and the record for the lake is .66, hit a 5 inch topwater spook. Between the three of us we caught around 30 fish with some six and seven pounders mixed in (largemouth). Below I will list the good and bad but overall Acuna was as safe as can be expected.

When we got into Mex the first thing I saw was what alarmed me most. Across the street from the Corona Club on the sidewalk was a spot of blood on the sidewalk. It could not be covered by a paper plate, extending down hidalgo was a "fast" trail of blood with a drop or two every two or three inches. About every 10 or 15 feet there would be a spot about 5 inches in diameter. This extended down the block and into the street where the "victim" must have got in a vehicle. Our cab driver told us a local young man got in a drunken altercation with another young man outside a disco. I work in a hospital, there is NO way this was from a fistfight. So don't fight with the locals unless you want a life threating knife wound and automatic membership in the Ciudad Acuna gun and knife club.

At hunters I was greeted by the Owner and a good friend of his, a gringo who lives less than 2 hours from me and frequents Acuna monthly. I don't know if this is good or bad, but was told armed guards are now being employed at hunters (I did not see it). I was thanked over and over for my business there and was assured several times of my safety. I am sure they would have tried to meet any demand I might have had. There is now wifi and big screen TVs in some of the private rooms. They are gearing up for the FIFA cup, and the whole experience was the best I have ever had at Hunters. I was told to call ahead should I convince more of my old college buddies to head south. Was offered compd rooms and cheaper drinks should I do it.

I will return soon, but I will not attend bars on hidalgo after sunset, I will stay at hunters. I had two women while there. One was 37 and spoke 5 languages and was very intelligent and very experienced she woke up at 6 am to practice her tennis, her body definatly shows it she was every bit of a 9. The other was 22 and absolutely HISTERICAL, I could bring her here and take her on the road! I have not laughed that hard in a long long time. She was every bit a Feleena and would give her a 9 as well.

Overall I say HEAD SOUTH, Acuna this moment is very doable. My spanish is pretty good, so I would recommend bringing a compadre who is fluent.

    YMMV

    Cowboy and Vincennes

Cowboy, Ojinaga is comparable to Juarez or Chihuahua in terms of drug problems/killings. I know people with family there that won't visit right now. As far as the red light district goes, it's been years since I've been there, but at the time the action on top of the hill was bad. Not a bad place to drink a couple of beers and practice your Spanish, but the doable hookers were few and far between. The place to be was called Oasis, I think, and it was down a dirt road about 100 or 200 yards from the hill, going towards town. Action there was decent later in the evening. There were no 9's or 10's, but there were some attractive women.

I've been to the red light district in OJ several times during daytime and there was nothing going on. I'd advise you not to go during daytime, but I guess you already learned your lesson in Acuna.

Vincennes, read the thread. 95 Vette already answered most of your questions, and Lrdhawkeye provides an opposing view. I read sometime back that the Consulate was closed. Also that the restaurant at Crosby's closed.

    Ciudad Acuna Anyone?

I have been to Acuna twice, fall of 07 and 08. Skipped last fall due to "violencia". Propably wasnt as bad last year as it was in 08. I have never had ANY problems in Ole Mex. I don't want to be an innocent bystander though. So I will share what I know here, but would like to hear from someone who has been recently. I have had my fun at Hunters and is where we usually go. I have been offered the same in the bars but have refrained. The last time we went we took someone who had not been before, long story short he scored an illicit substance from a restaurant patron in the middle of the day. We didn't get in any trouble but it kind of marred the whole trip. He won't be joining us this time, or ever again. I would like to do my usual, and hit up crosbys the corona club and hunters not to long after sunset in about a month. Any one see a problem with this? Do I need to worry about ZETA? Is the consolate avaliable?

    Thanks All

    Ojinaga across from Presidio, Texas

I just wonder what was happing at Ojinaga across from Presidio, Texas. Many Years ago that was the place for boys from Sul Ross University at Alpine, Texas to go in fact I broke my cherry there. The girls were not very friendly there no floor show or anything like that, just pussy. In fact the one I screwed there did not even take her bar off.

I have not heard anything about anyone going to play around there. Also I have not heard anything about drug problems or killings there. If anyone knows anything about O-JO please let me know.

    Acuna quick morning

I had to go to Del Rio today on business.

So I left a few hours early I got to town about 10: AM My Meeting was not until 12 noon so I decided to go up on the hill and see what was happing. Did expect much if anything that early.

Got up on the hill a few pick-ups and car at the Hunter Ranch. I drove up on top but saw no one went back to the Hunter ranch went in guy told me no girls come back 2 or 3 pm walked across the Rio it was locked. Had to be back in Del Rio by 12:00 noon, so I was about to leave and guy came out of the Café there and ask me why I was leaving. I told him NO GIRLS. He said wait a minute and he would find me a good one. He went in the Ranch and came back in a few minutes told me to come with him we went to a girl's room, I ask her if she want a drink, she said yes. So we went and had a drink. She keep saying she wanted $100 plus the room, I was not going to pay that, She had nice small but firm tits, with long big nipples, and a good body and did not mind my hand all over her, and she did the same in return. I didn't have time to go to the room, so I got a couple of good lap dance. She got me so HORNEY that I don't know if my wife will ever let me go back to Del Rio, or if she will send me back soon.

    Passport Needed

Starting March 1, 2010 Mexico will require all non-citizens to have a valid passport. So those of you that have been sliding on the U.S. side could get slamed in Mexico. Just another reason to hold you up for money!

Be careful and be safe, Mexico is not what it use to be.

    Agree with Vette

I do not want to get in a P-match with anyone on here especially vette since we are in the same town. What I wrote is not BS; just careful. I will agree with about 90% to 95% of what he says. But the Zeta's do control the liquor consession in Acuna. No one has been kidnapped etc. The Americans robbed and beat was about 100 miles in mexico from McAllen. See story www.Chron.com/disp/story. Mpl/world/6733362.html

From the Houston Chronicle or in trapshoot.com

I am white and do not speak spanish. If you are spanish then the problem is not so great. I feel if you are white and drive a stand out vehicle the police will pull you over more than 50% of the time. My lady is spanish and likes to party with me. We were pulled over by the soldiers not police near the arc over a year ago coming from the hill and fleased down pretty good. The Capt want my lady to go to supper with him or he could make me dissapear. She talked our way out of there but it did cost. If you go Vette is right do take a cab and I think safety in numbers. The main drag is what I would do if I was alone. The door girls are not as good as the hill as vette says but allot cheaper and the hotel are not that bad. Now and then there is a diamond in the rough near Leardo street (sp) probanly not spelled right. The economy is bad in Mexico because no one goes over. Why possible crime. Manuel's is opening up in Del Rio at the old Ranch cafe site near Amistad Bank. Have fun, be safe and careful and cautious.
