    Ojinaga

I been into OJ several times. Found the clubs that 95 Vette had reviewed back in 2004. The names have changed, but there are about 6 clubs there. I arrived mid-afternoon on a Saturday. The pickin's were SLIM with only 1/2 chica's currently on duty per club, and they were NOT something that I would have gotten to close to.

Left the east-side hill clubs and to headed down town OJ. I don't remember the name of the streets (will give more detailed street names & directions in weeks to follow), but as you are heading west on the main street, the street that goes by the major grocery store and leads to the banks, you'll come to a traffic light. On the left side at the light there is an OXOX. If you could turn right (you can't, it's a one way street) head to the top of the hill and on the right is a corner bar. It is one of only bars open mid-afternoon.

Long and still confusing story, I been there twice (once on a Saturday afternoon and another on a Sunday afternoon). Both time I hooked up with women from the cilty of Chihuahua. Both were attractive. Both initially asked for 800 P but ended up accepting 500 P (about $26.00 US). They had rooms in the area, one behind the bar and the other across the street. Both provided CBJ and CFS. NOTE: buying a lady a drink in the bar cost me 80 P, which is about 4 X what a beer will cost you. Being the cheap fuck that I am, I don't buy them drinks (usually, but there is always that HOTTIE that can be the exception the that rule). I usually buy myself ONE drink, scope out the available woman, locate the most desirable one, smile & strike up a very simple conversation. Basically; "Hello", "What's your name", "Where are you from", "Can we go to your room (which means Let's fuck)".

The out-of-town talent seems to arrive on buses on Thursday PM and depart Monday AM. I believe the real HOTTIES are probably on duty Thursday-Saturday nights. Thursday-Saturday border crossing back into Presido TX isn't bad, usually 15-30 minutes. However, Sunday & Monday are BAD. You can expect it to take you about 3 hours. Shop using pesos. The banks have ATM's and will give you dollars or pesos.

    Progresso is dead

Spent an hour in the town and everything is closed. There has been some security issues with the girls. So the place is dead.

Used to go to Hunters and Rio before it burned down. Crosby's restaurant was a fun place to eat and of course it has been closed for some time.
Pretty much the same only huge drops in numbers since crosbys closed down.

Corona is still open; Tochos going good, as well as Jesse's bar.

BT can't say as I haven't been there in literally 7 years or something.

I live across the the river on the us side and go in the afternoons / late afternoon early evening and get some decent action for about 300 pesos.

Went to Jessie's down town and there was only 2 girls working. One was hot and I had a great time.

    Update for Progresso

Nuevo Progresso has been having real problems lately. The whole town is closing up about 7 PM.

They had too Hookers murdered last month. They were in the little "Topless Bar" and they left to the local motel. And then murdered.

Then they had the XO convenience store shot up too. Nu.

    Nuevo Progreso, Tamaulipas

Beginning in the evening of Sunday, February 1, reports of blockades and shootouts in northern Tamaulipas has spread online. It appears that the first reports were of blockades and spikes being dropped on the highway between Anahuac and Valle Hermoso.

Later that night word spread of a shootout in Nuevo Progreso, followed by the highway between Rio Bravo and Reynosa being completely blocked. Convoys of vehicles apparently carrying cartel members were also reported in Rio Bravo.

Around the same time began reports of shootouts in Reynosa. The largest of the shootouts, occurring near the Las Fuentes traffic circle, began around 4:20 AM on February 2 and lasted over an hour and a half. Eyewitnesses claimed multiple dead bodies in the area. As of 7:30 PM Central Time reports of shootings in Reynosa continue.

While the situation is still developing and information is sporadic, there are indications that war is erupting between two factions of the Gulf Cartel, Matamoros and LOS Metros of Reynosa. The primary evidence supporting this is reports of vehicles with Escorpiķand, M3, XX, or 900 painted on the windows.

Although it has been years since these factions were united under the same leadership, hostilities appeared to be sporadic and limited in scope. With the sudden elevated level of violence, it appears that a major development has taken place within the Gulf Cartel, the nature of which has yet to be revealed.
