Does anyone know where the best ATMs with good rates and large maximum cash withdrawals are located.

And is a there a decent casa cambio at the airport?

The money changer in AP is not going to give best rate-- but there are ATMs too-- largest amount (2 Million COP) is from Davivienda with a $4-5 fee (not sure if they are in AP) Also BanCoomeva gives 2 Million too. There are others that give close to that, Banco AV Villas, Caja Social (1. 9 million or so) and there are others I don't remember names-.

Of Course you may do as many WDs up to your bank limit.

Important -- They ask if you will 'accept the conversion' -- Don't Do it -- it is a junk fee-- I actually was at another ATM recently at Banco AV Villas and they asked if I would accept some other thing and made it look like I would not get money-- I said no and got paid.

There are many Davivienda ATMs in the downtown area not far from Santa Fe-- Also in the North.

I'm back in Bogota for my 3rd trip here. My first trip was back in Sep 2023 for 10 days and my second trip was in Dec 2023 again for 10 days. For both of those trips I stayed at the Tequendama Hotel. I arrived for this most recent trip this past Friday Sep 6th. As usual the flights from where I'm coming in the USA have my landing at like 5 am Bogota time. The trek through customs was pretty quick. I filled out my MIG even though this trip United didn't force me to like previous trips, but I did it anyways just to be sure.

This trip I am staying at the Hotel San Francisco de Asis for the first time as the rates for the Tequendama Hotel was like double the nightly rate and it was about 25% higher than what I paid my past two trips. Since I'm staying 18 nights this trip figure I should save a few bucks LOL not to mention I did want to check out this hotel. I had booked my hotel for Sep 5th since I certainly didn't want to wait until 3 pm to check-in. Nobody else was checking in when I arrived so that went pretty simple. The desk people spoke limited English and I don't speak Spanish although I know a super small bit. Everything went fine and I was checked in pretty quickly.

For those who may want to know the room is ok but not ideal especially if you're a bigger guy. The bathroom is small and the toilet is positioned pretty close to the sink and the shower has a sliding glass door that is a bit small too not to mention the toilet paper dispenser which is like the ones you see in public bathrooms in the USA so it's pretty big is right there kind of blocking the entry way into the small shower. The shower head is coming out of the ceiling too which I'm not a fan of. As per most Bogota hotels a / see isn't really a thing, but there is one window you can open. Although the noise from the street below can become decently loud if you open the window. With the windows closed though most of the traffic noise isn't an issue. At least on the higher floors. The bed is a bit harder than I'd like and I like a hard mattress. There is a desk and desk chair in the room if you need someplace to setup shop to work from. The internet has been pretty decent too as I've watched some YouTube videos, streamed some anime on Crunchyroll, and streamed some podcast and music. There is a wall mounted flat screen tv in the room with a decent channel selection too. They do have a daily breakfast, but I've not partaken so I can't really say if it's decent or not. There are ample little convenient stores, drug stores, and restaurants around if you want to stay in the area mostly. Also most of the people staying at this hotel tends to be locals although I've seen a few whom appear to be non-local like this American / European looking white couple.

Anyways after checking in I went to my room and crashed for a few hours since I was mostly away on the plane ride down. After waking up I hit up the OXXO store that's 1 block away on the opposite side of the carrera 10 to get some bottled water and a few snacks. Later Friday evening around 6:30 to 7 pm I walked over to the zona to get into some action. This first night I ended up just walking around the zona stopping at some of the little beer bars having a drink and checking out nearby girls. This lasted a few hours before I eventually decided to scoop up a freelancer whom I fancied at one of those places one block over from the back entrance to Troya. She was a cute little Colombiana that was short, hand the typical brown that was past her shoulders, small boobs, but a nice little ass that I found was slightly enhanced (I originally thought it was natural). The session with her was pretty nice and she seemed pretty friendly based on what limited talking we could do. After that I walked back to the hotel. Again I did this my past trip for the slightly longer trek back to Tequendama Hotel so I was comfortable walking back at like 1 am in the morning.

Saturday I decided it was my day to return to Troya which per my last two trips is my favorite zona club. I got there sometime between 8-9 pm and stayed there until sometime between 1-2 am. This night I didn't see a lot of the same faces I saw on my previous two trips although I did see a few holdovers some whom recognized me. Overall I will say that Troya had a lot LESS enhanced girls on staff compared to my last trips. I like all types of women, but do love a women with curves so I was a bit disappointed some of the enhanced baddies I've seem previously, but didn't get to sample weren't on-hand. In my view there looked to have been more girls with butt work than breasts work for those whom did have any work done at all. Maybe all the enhanced ones went to another club, went independent, retired, or went abroad. As usual when I go to these zona clubs I usually order some drinks, chill, get some dances for various girls, then finish out the night with a session from a girl I fancy. This visit was pretty much that. The chosen lady of the night ended up being this girl that had approached me right after I arrived. Since I prefer to chill by myself for a good 30-45 minutes to see what talent was on-hand I had dismissed her. Not to mention she was wearing to much clothes at that point. I forget what kind of top, but she had on some khaki type pants and heels which certainly isn't what you typically see girls walking around the club in although I could tell her ass was nice and her face was cute. Lucky for her she did a set on-stage where she got naked which really allowed me to see that ass more and it peaked my interests in her more. I did end up getting a dance from her and later on ended up taking her up stairs to end my night right.

Sunday I knew the zona was going to be a bit slow. I just went out to one of the little bars for a bit then grabbed a freelancer. That session was a dud though since the chick didn't have lube and spit wasn't really cutting it too much. I ended up just getting a crappy CBJ to completion and called it a night.

Tonight / Monday after last night's dud I decided I'd hit up Troya again. I got there sometime between 8 and 8:30 pm and stayed until a little after 1 am. It was more of less the same as my trip Saturday. The selection of girls was still pretty much similar to Saturday's lineup, but there were even less enhanced girls than there were Saturday. There were mostly natural girls and even the freelancers (I assume that's what they were) that would occasional pop in looking for customers where mostly all natural girls too. There was one I really fancied but she was kept busy entertaining / drinking / talking with guys although I think only one pulled the trigger. Anyways after going through my usual of buying various drinks, chilling, getting dances I decided to take this one girl upstairs that I'd conversed with and gotten dances from tonight and on my last two trips, but never did the deed with. She'd given me a good dance tonight and since it was getting late and junior was ready for some action she was it LOL. We went upstairs and I put in some work. Junior must have been making up for last night's dud as it took a little longer than usual to bust so I really gave her the business. After that I walked back to the hotel as usual even thought it was a little wet outside since it'd apparently rained a little during the time I was in Troya.

It's like after 3 am now when I'm writing this so off to bed I go. I still have a number of days left so I'll write more if anything of note happens.

Bogota Vs Mexico City.

I'm planning on doing an extended stay in Bogota Colombia or Mexico City for at least half a year. Colombia seems to have better reports compared to CDMX. Funny enough most of the good CDMX lays seem to come from Colombianas in Mexico.

My priorities are:

- Agencies or Massage Parlors over Street Walkers or Clubs.

- I don't like drinking, loud music or walking the streets.

- BBFS.

- I don't care about food or other things to do. And I can live with less safety.

- I'm open to Seeking Arrangements, though I've never done it.

Questions:

1) Is there any reason to choose CDMX over Bogota, given the above goals?

Absolutely not. I lived in both places. CDMX is a great city to live in, but in terms of pay for play, CDMX is terrible. After living in colombia for half a year, and then going to CDMX, I did not find the women super attractive and nowhere near the quality of colombia.

2) Does Bogota have better or worse agency options than CDMX? Significantly better agencies. The agencies in CDMX are awful in my opinion. Lots of bait and switch, and you will pay a hefty penny for top tier ladies.

3) Does Bogota have better or worse massage parlor options than CDMX? Significantly better in Bogota. CDMX is not very good, do not recommend it for massage parlors.

4) How common is BBFS in Bogota vs Mexico City? CDMX is great for food, and is a very cool city. If you are looking for hot women and BBFS, i would not choose CDMX

5) How do Bogota women compare to CDMX women in beauty and pleasantness?

The women who are originally from Bogota, are more attractive. However, Bogota also has a significant number of women from other areas of Colombia who are super hot. Also hot Venezuelans. For what you are looking for, you will be very disappointed with CDMX. I do not recommend based on the criteria you laid out.

The place your waited for the room is called Tantra casa. You went to the Tantra bar which is next door. The bar does not have their own rooms so they get rooms from the casa. The chicas working at the Casa do have priority over the rooms compared to the chicas from the bar.

You can find them very old, I would say many in their 50's 60's I'm willing to bet even a few in their 70's.

I'll start by saying I know some love this city. And I'm certainly not trying to sway anyone from avoiding Bogota. I just have to say it's not for me. One problem certainly overshadowed my entire trip. That incident was bad and will certainly prevent me from considering a return. (More on that later).

I won't bore everyone with blow by blow details. So forgive the general nature of my report.

The city: traffic is insane. That said, it seems like just plan on going anywhere took 35 minutes. It can be close by or far away. Every trip seemed to take 35 minutes. I stayed near Santa Fe and frequented alot of casas to the north. In hindsight, I should have stayed up north. I stayed at Tequendama Suites. The room was nice and more than adequate, especially for the price point. The surrounding area was part of my problem. If you choose Tequendama, just know that you are in a busy area. Think about sleeping near Times Square. Horns amd sirens. It's a big city amd except for a few hours overnight, it's hectic. One other issue: uber drivers had a HELL of a time finding me. Most of them came down carrera 13 and missed their turn on carrera 10. Then they'd cancel. There's not really a parking area there, which also caused minor issues.

Girl quality: it's almost stupid to discuss this broadly. But I would say for my tastes, Medlellin has a vastly superior selection. In my opinion, Bogota is filled with good looking girl next door types. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, that's kind of my sweet spot. I'm not one that goes out and hunts 10's. But I do think the overall quality in looks is a step or two below MDE. As for service, in my experience the GND usually delivers better service. I really have no complaints about the service levels I had with any of my sessions. Compared to MDE, Bogota seems to have more laid back, service-oriented chicas. And price wise, it's not even close. MDE is easily twice as expensive per session. (That's apples to apples; of course there are ranges for each area you shop in). For what it's worth, Bogota seemed to have alot of good food options.

Santa Fe and SF bars: total let down. I arrived on Thursday so it wasn't the days of thr week. Honestly, they were a waste of time. In any of the bars, there were between 5 and 20 girls. If you are a guy who wants to walk in and choose the girl, go upstairs and knock one out, these places are adequate. I typically like to have a drink or two, party a little bit. Well, that just never happened. It had kind of a weird vibe. Maybe slightly depressing? I can't find the right word. But it was not a party feel. And every bar had near ear splitting music. I like the party vibe. I like the music. But when you can't hear the person next to you, it's too loud. I didn't session with a single girl in those bars. I'm sure they are gold mines for some of you. But it wasn't my scene.

Santa Fe is, in a word, interesting. There are definitely some diamonds there. It has a dangerous yet thrilling feel. To say all shapes, sizes and types are available is an understatement. I was surprised that some of the most attractive girls I saw in Bogota were on the streets of SF. That said, a little foreshadowing. Walking the streets of SF you can just feel the target on your back. I'm a gringo. I always travel alone. I've done alot of travel. But here more than anywhere I've been, you can just feel the target on you. Interestingly, I did not have any problems in the heart of Santa Fe. But.

My incident: I'd consider myself a seasoned traveler. I have a fair amount of street smarts. I take reasonable precautions and accept that there is an inherent risk in how we operate. Well, I finally got got. Outside of Tequendama Suites, I got mugged. I mentioned that target on my back. In hindsight, I made a mistake or two. But I also feel like the odds are just stacked. A gringo walking alone there is just a matter of time. I'm a big dude. I remain alert to surroundings. One mistake was that I felt the area I was in, literally in the shadows of Tequendama Suites, was so busy that no one would be that bold. Walking past Itau, essentially across the street from the hotel, a group approached me and pulled a knife. They directed me just off the main street and robbed me. They got a very small amount of cash and my burner phone. They made me unlock the phone and took off. The four guys were all dressed very well, but to be honest, I never saw them until they had the knife on me. But they definitely would not have caught my attention based on their appearance. What struck me was that this busy area with seemingly 100 or more people was all of a sudden empty. There was NO ONE within a block. There was not alot of commotion. I chose not to scream and yell. But after it was over, it sure felt like everyone knew what was going on and they all scattered like rats. Rookie mistake: for convenience, I had a few apps that I should have kept off my burner. So that's the biggest loss. It's a pain in the ass tracking down digital footprints. Obviously, that soured me on Bogota. But, even if that didn't happen, I just didn't like the scene.

Lastly, a couple bright spots I would call out. Vicky's Spa. It is not a cheap option by any stretch. But all of the girls there are spectacular. I would recommend Sara if you like them wild. LOL.

I also hit the jackpot with a couple selections off of Mileroticos. Tequendama Suites has a good security process to the point they won't let the girl leave without you confirming all is well. So I took a chance there and was rewarded for it.

For those that love this city, enjoy it. Just not for me.

Welcome to Bogota!

Welcome to the land of putas, arepas, and thin air! The nicer parts of the city, like La Candelaria and Zona Rosa were quite clean. But, I found some other areas were a bit trashy and riddled with graffiti. Having said that, I felt safe wherever I went. Because of the altitude, it was pleasant during the day, but it got chilly in the evenings. Because I am old and already walk slow, I did not have any issues with the altitude.

According to Wikipedia, "The city is located in the center of Colombia, on a high plateau known as the Bogota savanna, part of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes. Bogota is the third-highest capital in South America after Quito and La Paz at an average of 2,640 meters (8,660 ft) above sea level. Subdivided into 20 localities, Bogota has an area of 1,587 square kilometers (613 square miles) and a cool climate that is constant through the year.

The member who answered you is correct, Carulla is one of the upscale supermercadosos in Bogota as is the Rosales residential section of the city. Sounds like that is a landmark for the casa your looking for.

Correct and there is no casas there. I stay in a street nearby the carrula Rosales when I m in Bogota.
