Hello all,

I arrived in Bogota last night and thought I would share my experience thus far. Lot of great info here that has helped me in the past so hoping to give a little back. I have been to Colombia 10 times since 2009, mainly to MDE. But I wanted to explore Bogota a little more. My Spanish is better than average and I can get around and communicate with the chicas in Spanish. I am spending 6 nights in BOG, then 6 nights in MDE, then the last 4 nights in BOG.

Hotel- Got a reservation at Hotel Ibis Museo, $50/ night including the breakfast add-on. Rooms are clean and nice enough, very small but that doesn't bother me. I love the location with plenty of restaurants and banks nearby, and of course the clubs in Santa Fe are a short ride away. Bed is comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Room has a safe but no fridge. Really glad I booked here. And like an idiot I left 200 k COP sitting on the desk when I left the room. The housekeeper cleaned the room and did not touch it. So that was nice. IBiS is a pretty big global hotel brand so it's a great hotel for the price I got. It is supposed to be chica friendly which I will explore during my trip.

Transportation- UBER has been a great option. I had the hotel pick me up from the airport as I wanted someone waiting in front with my name on the sign when I walked out. I used UBER to and from Santa Fe. Less than 8 k COP each way before tip. IBIs has cars out front but they are more expensive. I will use UBER to the airport. I think its about $10 usd.

Strip clubs- I hit the clubs on Carrera 16 a. Fiebre had 20+ girls, overall good quality and a few 8-9'S. I went there first and took Rosario up to one of the rooms for 170 k. She was really into it and looked like a hot librarian with her glasses. Fun to talk to and we had some laughs. Everything was covered which is fine with me. I hung out for a couple of hours after and had a few beers. I thought the prices were reasonable. 10 k for an Agila. Coronas for the chicas were 20 k. Will probably get a bottle of Aguardiente for the chicas tonight for 80 k. I hate that stuff but they love it. I ducked out of Fiebre a few times to check the other places on 16 a but they were pretty dead. Fiebre had the most girls and best quality. I had not previously spent much time in Santa Fe but last night it seemed safe on Carrera 16 a, with police and security present. I did not walk anywhere outside of CArrera 16 a. Going to walk around Santa Fe this afternoon.

Banks / ATMs- I changed $200 USD at the airport at 3900 k per USD. Was hoping to get much better rates near my hotel but have not seen that. Pulled 2 million COP from a Davivienda ATM at 3,937 per USD. Looks like a 7% markup from the published FX rate. I checked a few cambios near my hotel and the best rate was 4,000 per USD at Alliance Trade. It's been a few years since I have been to Colombia so I don't recall if there has always been the difference between published fx rate and the ATM rate. When I booked my IBIs reservation, the rate was 4,300 per USD on my credit card.

Ask for selfies. If they say no. Don't waste your time. If you are talking to a reservations person. Try during the week. Weekends they don't always have time. Very few of these girls will come anywhere near to Santa Fe. Good luck, now go do the work.

I'm not sure if you went to Rosquillas (Calle 64 #15-30) because that doesn't sound like it as you described (also you didn't mention the bell that they ring when you walk in) but there is another Casa literally just a few doors down from Rosquillas at #15-16 (Red brick with a Black Door). You may have went there because they are in very close proximity to each other. I attached a few pictures of the Rosquillas entrance and map location. I hope it helps.

When I walked in the place and entered the first room, there was a wooden sign at the top of the wall. When I asked the chica and mesero about prices, they both pointed at the wooden sign, which said: 50 for 20 and 60 for 30. I did not know other prices existed.

Info on clubs outside the tolerance zone is much appreciated. I tried to find (with Woodman) these in the dark during a rainy night in 2021. Only found Club 49 (now closed) and Lido. Then Lido had 1 girl (out of 12+) IMHO worth doing. Since that time I met a girl on SA who works there now. She was a lot of fun. We had multiple meetings. Considered going on a trip with her. Since Tom Jackin says there are hot chicks at multiple clubs now,. Maybe I will go back to Lido on my next trip (in 2 weeks) Maybe also More Mora and Club 69. There exterior photos look depressing. I'm willing to find out.

In the Tolerance zone Troya, Fibre and Atonis have a few that are IMHO borderline doable. Drinking helps. .

It was a seeking putas and eating good food trip. I thought the city was quite safe and I never felt threaten in any manner. The city was huge! I felt I spent a good amount of time in taxis / Ubers. Would I ever return to Bogota? Not sure at this point. Overall, I had a great time! Would I recommend it to other mongers? Absolutely!

At Rosquillas it's 50 K for 30 minutes and 100 K for the hour. There is no 60 K option. They have the prices on signs throughout the establishment and it's one of the first things you see after you walk in and they start ringing the bell. That signals the chicas. Walk into the lounge area that is near the fish aquarium and porn is playing on several screens. The girls come and introduce themselves one by one and return to whatever they were doing. One may sit next to you. You can chill, observe and decide your next move. You can also go and sit with a chica and chat her up. If you like her then you can take her upstairs for some fun.
