If you are too young to get the reference its a reference to the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas starring Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro based on writer Hunter Thompsons and a drug and alcohol fueled stay in Las Vegas. And I have had my share of such adventures.

Recently stayed at the Ermita Hotel which is about a 5 min walk to the walled city or a 10 k cab ride. The hotel had all the amenities you could ask for. The Gym had everything you could need for a good workout I. E Treadmills, free weights, smith machine, yoga mats, & bicycle. The best part was security was very welcoming to our guests. We were a party of 5 and each night we paraded 5-6 women after hours and they let them right in after taking their info down. The security even wanted to hook me up with a Chica he knew. I'm pretty sure he would have taken a cut of whatever was given. They even helped order pizza / wings around 3 am. Overall the staff is very accommodating.

Thinking of heading to Cartagena, will be first time. Can anyone give me their opinion on is this the best place to come for the hobby or Medellin? Other option will be Santo Domingo, DR.

Funny to read this since I read the book during downtime on my first trip to Colombia in '73. Way too many drugs for him then and for too many guys now especially when in foreign territory.

She really pissed me off. Long story. So I told her to go home. I'm not feeling all this anymore. Anyways got very drunk. Lots of lyrica and hydrocone in my system.

So each drink hot 5 time harder initially. Ordered 3 pina colodas with extra liquor shots at clocktower pub. Then drank a few bers each one hitting my like a tank. I stumbled out of pub tripping up. Was seeing double a bit.

Missed my connection flying down and arrived 7 hours late. Maybe there was a silver lining, because I met two stunners in the elevator right when I arrived. I ended up doing about half of my sessions for the week with them. It was too convenient; they were staying just one floor above me. Also, the service was good, they were nice girls, and we had fun hanging out. 600 k for a quickie threesome and 1 million for toda la noche for the pair. Pics below. They work at Delirium every night if anyone is interested in finding them. My guess is that they ask for more at Delirium. One night I checked out La Dolce Vida. I wasn't too impressed. I'm not a drinker and wasn't interested in hanging out buying girls drinks, which is what they seemed to want to do before leaving for a cita. I picked up 4 different Vennies out on the street around LDV. One for 600 toda la noche, one for 250 for a quickie, one for 350 two shots, and one for 400 bare come inside (her pic is below). I never negotiated too hard, as some might point out. Went to Paradiso Marino one night (separate post below). Loved staying in Laguito. I liked the beach there. Never picked up girls on Holywood beach, just one thing I never got around to. There were girls on the street in Laguito, but never partook. Really enjoyed the old city. It was my first time in Cartagena. Also, played golf a few times at Karibana and highly recommend. 520 k per round. Went to Rosario Island one day. It was ok, a little pricey travelling with my 2 chicas. Stayed in a Juan Ventura property. It was slightly run down, but I have no complaints and would recommend. Here is his web site.

All in all, I had a great first trip to Cartagena. I will definitely be back, but I'm not sure where I'm going next year. I've done Medellin, Cartagena, San Jose, and Sosua twice. Maybe Cali or Bogota is next. Wish it was easier to go to Cuba as an American.

I moved to this bar called Atlanta. A real shit hole. But I got a hookah and started smoking hookah and drinking.

Suddenly my drunkenness turned to clarity I think the lyrica was leaving my system finally. I started dancing with some girl. Her friend hated me and even screamed at me to leave one point. Pyscho *****. I left.

I went next the door to Delirium. Was pretty fun people were dancing. I was probably acting a fool. Not much memory of that tine in there tbh. No girls I wanted that I can remember. I guess I was very drunk there. Had fun and left. No good girls though.

Outside some fucking guy kept trying to sell me coke very aggressively. I noticed right behind us there were a lot of police. It smelled like a set up. I told him no way. He said we can go up into space to do it. I had alarm bells going off. I said no.

I walked into space and this guy follows me up in there. A real sinister looking individual. Bad intentions. Glaring at me he said said give me 50,000 fir wasting my time. I said what? He said if you don't give me 50,000 I will cone back and next time I will be forced to bad things.

He seemed serious. So I said wow you are threatening me. I said no. I never asked for anything so leave ne the fuck alone. You can find me walking in the street after this. This mother fucker glared at me so hard I thought he was going to pull out a shank or knife right there. Instead he just evil eyed me like a stare down and nodded his head as if to say yes. Then he walked down out of there. These kind of people seriously ruin this place fir me. But anyways. Moving on.

I walk into space hyper alert with a new found triple wind of sobriety and order 3 Colombian beers and chug the first one. Walk around with my other 2. I scout out the talent while thinking about my GF and that sketchy guy.

I see a fucking legit stunner dancing and immediately grab her. Gorgeous girl. We drink a few and I said I'm taking you home. She says $100 for 1 hour. Still upset ror my GF I say wtf lets go.

We grab a taxi. We get back to my room. This ***** who was all over me at the club is acting stingy / robotic at my place. This is a night where I'm just taking L after L I think LOL. And fuck. I hadn't taken cialus in 3 days and it showed. The alcohol and Lyrica gave me ed. So I couldn't even fuck her. So I don't even know what we did. I just remember her saying some shit about she wanted to go to the beach together. My memory of that and my time at Delirium us wiped completely. Weird. I remember everything else perfectly.

Been to Medellin a few times but this is the first time I'll be heading to Cartagena. I read a lot about pickup bars / clubs / clock tower, and Playa Hollywood for daytime action. But what about strip climbs like Isis and Pley Club? I saw them online but don't see anything on the forums about them. Are they any good? I find the ones in Medellin to be enjoyable.

Also, are there any MP's in Cartagena like in Medellin? Or is Playa Hollywood the only daytime scene?

I went to Paradiso Marino, which is considered one of the better clubs. I thought it was great, lot's of hot girls! The cost was 200 mil pesos per half hour. So, I did an hour for 400 mil. Beautiful 18 year old. Bare for 50 k extra. It is a 20 min + cab ride from Laguito, and not in the greatest neighborhood. So the fare is a lot more than just 10 k to El Centro. At the end of the day, a little more expensive, but nice to have a parade of girls to choose from. One more thing, they keep the rooms too hot, so it's hard to go for extended time.

If you want a stress free trip, I would keep searching for a place that answers that the building allows chicas in without any problems.

It means that if any other resident of the building or the building administrator takes issue with you or the putas you bring, nobody will back you up. If you stay here, don't exit or arrive with a chica; allow her to come all the way up to the room. To successfully do that, tip the doorman and ask him what you need to do to have a girl over without problems.

Congrats on doing your homework to get the best out of your trip! You have completed the most important step, securing a guest friendly place close to all action.

Now as for the Spanish translation. They basically said they are ok with it but building management may not be OK with it.

To elaborate. The owner can say 1 thing but building management can say another and security can say something entirely different. This is why when I travel our number 1 rule is if we can avoid it, to never stay in condos or buildings with security as it eliminates 90% of the bullshit of last minute visitor rules. We strictly go only for apartments. These rules can be anywhere from:

Only 1 visitor per day allowed.

Visitors only allowed between 9 am - 9 pm.

No visitors allowed after 10 pm.

Visitors are not allowed to dawn on the property.

Visitors are not allowed to use building amenities (pool, gym, etc).

Guest must pay up to 15 mil COP per visitor entering the property (This can get annoying real fast depending on how many you plan on seeing).

All guests entering must check in with ID (This can fuck you over with the Venezuelan chicas because some of them are there illegally and don't have a Cedula or Passport).

You can always chance it but I strongly suggest you find another location where you have a solid answer pertaining to visitors.
