glad you're having a good time....what up what about the restrictions as far as the beach--have you had any luck going to the beach it's a big thing for me? If it's not for the beach I might as well be in Medellin it's much cheaper and the girls are even bette.

They are averaging 300 or more new cases a day in Cartegena, those numbers don't come down they're going to lock it up.

So much so, that I can't get around to write a trip report. Very glad that I decided to come anyway. For anyone that wants to know. There is more pussy here than any man can want. I've picked up from the club, the clocktower, ordered great takeout, and picked up a super nice youngin' from the beach. I didn't even go out Wednesday because I was worn out from my daytime activity and the previous two days finally caught up to me.

BTW, the place I'm at now is amazing. I paid a little more, but I have hot water, literally ocean front balcony / views, pools, gym, and I can have visitors. No problem with my daytime activity, but for an instance it seemed like there was going to be an issue last night. For some strange reason, I thought the curfew was midnight on Thursday. I took my time to go out. I got to Centro around 9:30 pm. I had planned on going to a ST hotel with a chica, but everything was beginning to get locked down. The clubs were being emptied. I did get a number from a fine chica, but didn't figure I'd get here in my building. I wound up running into my day 1 chica that I picked up from Delirium. She looked smoking hot and is just so damn sexy. I told her the issue with my new apartment, but she wanted to go anyway. We got to my building and sure enough if was a no go. I played the stupid gringo and let her talk it out with the female security guard. I don't know what she said, but after about five minutes she was allowed up. The first night she wanted TLN and I wasn't going for it. I pulled the plug last night and it was worth it. Great times last night on the balcony and great morning sex with the waves crashing in the background.

The time has flown by. Only 3 more days. I will be back for sure. I don't understand why some people drag this place so much. I'm paying $55 to bang mostly 22 year olds and have incredibly hot sex. It is some gorgeous women here. I know I'll be back and will visit the other cities. This is my new playground for the near future. And Brazil when it opens up. Now it is time to really refresh my spanish. I get to a certain point and then damn near forget everything. I just need to live here for about 6 months and then I'll be good with the language. A man can dream, right? LOL.

So as I suspected the the crackdown is happening at the Bazurto Market where all entrances were policed, IDs checked and masks mandated. In other news only a small percentage of the ICU beds are taking up by Covid Cases, less than 25 %. And a smaller percentage than at other times during the pandemic. There are some indications that demand is decreasing.

There was a member on here who swears up and down that Scotiabank / Colpatria has no ATM fees. It has to have both these names on it, not one or the other but both because different international entities own different pieces if these banks. I have found two locations in Bocagrande if you happen to be near one than you can find out for yourself.

One is just down from Carulla Fresh Market. It is on the Northeast corner of Carrera 4 and Calle 6 a, in the photos it is the little red and white building that has the little palm tree blocking the signage.

The other one is a little harder to find, it is on the main drag but it is tucked away in a complex "Centro Comercial Bocagrande" on Carrera 2 on the southeast side of the street in the middle of the block between Calle 8 and Calle 9 so any photos that are not a map and not the building I described above are of that location.

I went to BBVA on the corner of Carrera3 and Calle 8. 300 k withdrawal limit. No ATM fee, but the rate was 3,653 vs 3,666 at the airport. That amounts to about .35 cent paid for roughly $82 worth of pesos. The true airport rate is actually 3,571 when I included the transaction fee. I was in a rush for pesos before going to the Old City so only made one transaction. I'll load up today since I seem to be burning cash faster than I thought, but I'm enjoying myself which is all that matters.

This is good intel. Do you know if there is a Scotiabank / Colpatria ATM in the Old City?

There used to be a branch office with ATM just outside the wall north east of the clock tower opposite side of the street on the main road called Avenida Venezuela that runs in front of the clock tower, but according to Google Maps it is permanently closed. It is still listed as a bank site on their website though maybe that the office is closed but they still have an ATM there. One photo shows what the building looks like if you are approaching it walking from the Clock Tower, another shows what it looks like once you are in front of it

For anyone curious about why Colpatria and Scotiabank / Colpatria are different you can read this, is does not explain exactly what went down in some acquisitions related to citibank.

I used one in the airport in Bogota 2 night ago to withdraw 900,000 pesos. $247.66 was taken out of my account. That is an exchange rate of 3634. There was no fee.

Sitting in Riquisimo Bbq. Just finished up a grilled chicken meal. It tastes good enough and served its purpose. Bought some liquor at the CTG duty free. Prices were whatever. Crazy expensive in FLL. What happened to duty free?

Seeing some decent street options. There was a really nice one giving me the eye as I checked in, but too tired and wired for that. Going to stroll to the supermarket and get even more settled. Arrived in Cartagena two hours ago. Easy trip here and through immigration fast. Made it to super girl friendly Airbnb that I stayed at in February, same doorman, same tip up front. Just downstairs is Exito convenience store and packed plenty of Club Colombia's and a bottle of vodka for tonight's shenanigans in my basket, alcohol IS still for sale. Hottie coming over in two hours and another one set up three hours after that and then I'll check out Delirium Club later tonight, around 8-9 pm. My understanding is that they won't be selling alcohol at the club but the ladies will still be there sipping on whatever doesn't have alcohol, no worries because as soon as I take my pick we have a 3 minute walk back to my Airbnb with plenty to drink for the Friday night! Attached is a picture of my refrigerator with some refreshments and a pic of the girl flying in on Tuesday whom I'll spend two nights with on Isla de Tierra Bomba which is just off the coast of Cartagena. We have a bungalow reserved for two nights sitting right on the beach. So far so good! Agree with last post: Lemons to Lemonade!

I do not think it is a full on Pico De Cedula like the lockdown way, it seem sot only affect getting into places that hold a whole lot of people, this article just mentions shopping centers, financial institutions, Bazurto Market, department stores and supermarkets.
My question is will this be the only restrictions? Are the bars and restaurants expempt?

Is it not as harsh as before when saying that one could not even be out of their home unless they had right number on Cedula?

Do these number system apply to foreigners passports the way it does a local's cedula?
