A very nice summary of the paisa perspective. Well said. 95% of the girls I meet are super sweet, kind, soft spoken and loving. With what little they have, they take good care of themselves, dress and smell good. There is no need to hide from that truth. As long as we pay a fair wage and treat the girls nicely, there is nothing wrong this. Sex work shouldn't be looked down upon, least of all by the johns, and we should all expect a level of respect from the girls and vice versa.

There are at least 2 market places that members here use -.

Local market. Those that pay the regular high street prices (think of it as shopping at the places that local people shop at), and.

Tourist market. Those that pay tourist prices (think of it as shopping at a mall which is only open to tourists and that charges 4 times the local price).

Speaking about flights, I want to rant! Why the hell did Avianca eliminate the direct LAX to Bogota route. The clerk said something about a rumour of Avianca not being able to get a license; that doesn't make sense. What was once a 6.5 hour direct flight is now a 10 hour flight with a layover in El Salvador.

Avianca always lad the MIA MDE. LATAM code shared with Delta. They were flying through June and stopped. Weird.

I agree with you regarding Avianca LAX BOG. Wish there is LAX MDE flight. MDE needs more USA cities non-stop. May be an airport handling issue.

I think the worst part in Centro is The Bronx, or El Bron, as they tend to say. Its Calle 56 con Cra 54. Just a few blocks behind Nuti. You'd get some real good discounts down there.

Ah, ok. I just walked down the street to the clubs on the street facing the park and got the rates I reported. That walk didn't seem bad at night. And then of course like 50 mil in Centro for rato.

I do not need a further discount if that means a much more dangerous area haha.

No. I was in Medellin last week and had no problem entering through airport immigration, however I am in my late 60's. I did notice many younger males in line and they slowed down the process quite a bit. The young, single males in line were getting questioned much more at the front booth and this made it much longer to get through. Heck, 75% of the non-Colombian airline passengers were young men 20-30, probably sex tourists!

Sadly, this mayor is hurting his own businesses and using one or two examples of underaged girls to blast his political agenda. There will always be a case or two. Here the Mayor's own police were at fault for releasing the American suspect from jail the next day because he was "not caught in the act" of doing anything illegal to the 2 underaged girls found in his hotel room, and the suspect promptly left the country. It makes no sense to punish his own businesses, by requiring they close early for 2 weeks, and pay his police officers overtime to set up ID checks in the Parque Lleras area. He is simply trying to get re-elected as a protector of the Medellin families. Political stunts.

I'm not sure how you define the bad part of town. It's near Centro. But when I hear "bad area of town" I think a place you are going to get robbed and assaulted .2 blocks from the nutty is a fully lite street and a busy street isn't a bad part of town.

Now should you be walking actually in Centro at that hour. No. But that's not where the strip club is. I'm too gringo to know what the bad part of town is.

The convenience and quality factor in the tourist market is worth the high price. If you can not speak Spanish, want girls who can speak some English, and are 8 to 10 in looks, then be ready to pay.

Maybe it seems like I am picking on you because I'm responding to two of your posts back to back. But I'm just catching up.

Not true in Medellin or Bogota. My Spanish is beyond horrible and I'm finding girls that speak English. Now granted it's more Bogota than Medellin. But it's really not true that you have to pay a huge premium. I don't say that to be cheap. But paying more doesn't result in a better experience. I've paid all ranges. I'm typically paying 200 mil for spinner university girl 18 to 21 for 2 to 3 hours+ BBFS.

I am pretty experienced at this point. But back when I was not and just using seeking that was my experience too. Girls that charged a lot tended to have GPS and the experience just was not as good.

And I'm in no way shape or form directing this at you. I don't know you. But I think age, personality, weight. Etc CAN play a factor. Money is an easy substitute for some. Or luck maybe. And people that go after surgery Instagram models / pros will have to pay more. Because the market for some reason puts a premium on that.
