Yet at the same time, I am on my guard and making sure that I know where my wallet and cellphone are. It is always late night and walking down isolated streets that can be dangerous in any city.

Being drugged and robbed is always something you need to be on guard for. The biggest issue is drinking with the girl. You might want to avoid this to decrease the odds. Security at your place is also another factor. Especially if you are new to Medellin, it would be best to have security at the front desk.

Day 2 and 3 were just as good as 1. My friends and I hit the massage place 1 I think I forgot to mention and it's cheaper than the park girls in el Poblado about 200 mil for completa servicio. During day two we went to comuna 13 (if you don't like walking don't go) and day three we hit Laureles which has a more local and had a big Colombia feel too it it's a beautiful city and for all the people saying it's dangerous it totally is stay away (kidding) just be on your P.S. Nice weekend. Glad you had fun and it worked out for you. I have not been to Medellin yet. But I have been to Bogota twice. Your advice is good. The first time I went to Bogota alone it was real fun but I felt out of place sometimes. The second time I went with a friend I trusted. We had a blast. My Spanish is sub par his is fluent so that helped. It was good because we found non working girls to hang out with also. And I also use sites like seeking arrangements, to find some good quality woman that I can vibe with for one night. Other than that cheers to you. There is also this issue of having an agreement with the girl prior to coming to your room. I often have girls chat with me online and want to meet without any discussion of price. I am usually the one to bring it up because I don't want any misunderstandings. Negotiations after services have been rendered is always much more difficult. I like to know how much it will be and her expectations prior to meeting. I think that having no agreement may be a strategy to getting more money out of you after the act assuming that it is not a normal date. At the same time, if a young attractive girl wants to go out with you and you are old enough to be her father or grandfather and you are just average looking, you have to remember that if it is too good to be true, it probably isn't' true.

I would really like to visit Colombia this summer.

I'm a huge fan of Thailand and I go there every year.

However, two things make me hesitate for Colombia: safety and the language barrier.

When I travel alone in Thailand, I don't go to the specialised bars for ST. I prefer going to nightclubs, enjoying the nightlife, meeting girls on the dance floor, and continuing the night with someone if we have a good connection. At the hotel, many times she go back after long sleeping and at this moment I give money.

Is a similar nightlife experience possible in Medellíand? And for money too?

Which nightclubs would you recommend?

Is it better to book an Airbnb in Parque Lleras or stay in a hotel?

Do you have any other advice? And what do you think about going there without speaking Spanish?
