I am fortunate enough to have a partner for company for my first trip to Berlin. I would like to try a sex cinema (like Fantasy Video to those Londoners familiar with that darkness). I've never mongered in Europe, most of my play has been in Mexico the last year, and want to at least give it a try. These are taste things and there is no one key neighborhood. Most bordellos and Artemis are in the west. So Savignyplatz and Ludwigskirchplatz are convenient with an S-Bahn, you-Bahn and key busses and a fair bit of buzz. In terms of hip neighborhoods, an incomplete list includes Prentzlauerberg, Bergmannstrasse in Kreuzberg, all the bars and cafes along Yorckstrasse / Gniessenauerstrasse, Hackischerhoff / Markt, the Landwehrkanal near Admiralbrücke. All further from the western part but Berlin transit system really good so just depends what you want. Lonely Planet or Time Out guides in English have more.

After my last adventure around the city of random luck and chance, I decided to return to a place where I'd been before, felt like I had more control and the prices reasonable. Freudenhaus-hase.

I've been here before and each time my visits were great. Nothing mind blowing or anything, but the sex was good, the people friendly, and the prices reasonable. Even the older woman who greets you is nice. I've learned that it's best if I'm the one making all the decisions, and I have free movement to look and choose whom I want, not who is presented to me. The whole "wait here and the girls will come to you" thing is awkward in my opinion. Working through the greeter is annoying, and it's too easy for them to say 'Oh they don't do this or that or don't speak English, etc. ' At Freudenhaus-hase those available wait in their doorways and you are free to walk around, talk to them, and make your choice. I feel like this gives me better control and access.

This time around I enjoyed Sara, a rather attractive, tall Bulgarian with lovely natural b's. I was in awe of them, and her website photos do not do her justice. She has a nice face. I love A's and be's, any more than see's and it gets out of control. Sara's were very nice. Sadly her English was not so good, but we made it work. Ameribi-a dreadful tale but good for gou to report it. But the Forum has warned about the O street scene for years. You can always get lucky or hosed. The odds say avoid. You have sadly reconfirmed it. Impossible to say re Europasalon, you probably made the right call. Berlin has about 4 price tiers of brothels. The middle 2 are IMHO the sweet spot re value comfort safety. But obviously when you play with fire in dodgy neighborhoods during dodgy hours,you can get burned. Kind of common sense 101. With hundreds of great girls in safe, clean locales, the appeal of all this Nick Danger stuff is really a mystery to me. It does of course offer the possibility of a Darwin Award. What price glory?

For late night follies Mon Rouge or even better, Artemis tough to beat. You would gave saved a lot of money, time, and pride at the latter.

You're absolutely right. I come here twice a year on business and this was only my second trip into the scene. I learned the hard way but lessons taken to heart. I'm already planning the next trip to center around a place like Artemis.

Well a couple of guys think it is a bit off. Depending upon the day, between 300-500 other guys who go there daily think quite differently.

The idea that "that is the case" is absurd. All sexual experiences are highly subjective and not everyone will Artemis their cup of tea. Fine. Everyone can have their opinion (I have always found Oase hopelessly overrated, and Palace underrated). In any FKK, there are worse and better days, varying also by season. Mongers also themselves can have bad days, no matter where they are. Whether it was me, or them, I have left Artemis occasionally un-gepopped as nothing seemed right. It simply happens.

I would be the first to agree that there are many hot girls working in the private apartments in Berlin. But really, it is a red wine, white wine thing. The two experiences are different for obvious reasons. Insomnia or Erlebnis Wohnung or Caligula or King George are other variants. To each their own...

Like many FKKs, Artemis thins out during summer. According to a number of regulars, It seems to have been particularly thin the 3rd week in August, probably with many taking off pre-IFA. At the moment, IMHO, the Artemis lineup is pretty dang good.

But what is off is going on and on and on about this here, in the Berlin forum, vs the dedicated Artemis forum (ISG thread 2588), where it belongs. So if you need to flog this dead horse, you know where to take it.
